Recent Molokai reviews

  • Wonderful Yard

"The other reviews do a nice job of describing Molokai. I'd only say that we wish that we'd had more time on the island. A long weekend wasn't enough to explore everything. The property itself is delightful. The yard really is as large as the pictures make it look. It's landscaped in such a way that we couldn't see the house to the south and only from the back of the yard could we see the house to the north, so it feels very private. There are many coconut palms (and we had fresh coconut on our last day after finding one that had fallen), papaya trees, lilikoi, and lots of other things I don't know the names of. As others have mentioned, the gazebo is quite nice for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. From the house and the yard, there is a clear view of Maui and Lanai. (I think that was also Kaho'Olawe in the distance.) As you'd expect from somewhere relatively rural, at night there are zillions of stars. Being on the east end of the island, you will want to stock up on food, etc., since there's no quick trip to the store. On the other hand, it's quiet and peaceful with little traffic. The house itself works well. The space is laid out efficiently, so we felt like we had enough space for cooking, eating, sleeping, and lounging around. I hope to be able to return to Molokai soon to explore what we missed. I'd definitely stay here again."

  • seclusion and tranquility

"This home is more beautiful than I imagined! The kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you will need. The lanai is probably the nicest feature; we spent several hours staring at the ocean. The view is spectacular and the peace and quiet is rejuvenating to say the least. Pohakumauliuli Beach is closer than it looks and is an easy walk. There are 3 other beaches within a 5 minute drive ( Papohaku Beach is a must see!) After a week on Molokai we left feeling rested and refreshed. If you're needing an escape from the stress and noise of the city you won't be disappointed!"

  • Excellent place to relax

"We stayed here with our toddler and everything was great! We loved Paniolo Hale and the location in the complex (no stairs and very close to pool). This area has wonderful gardens and beautiful beaches nearby. The unit is an excellent layout. We really appreciated the 2 full bathrooms and large living area and screened in large deck. Overall spacious and homey. There are lots of beach chairs and kids beach toys. My husband worked remotely and found the wi-fi access worked very quickly. The owners are very kind and helpful. We loved staying here."

  • Beautiful Home on the Gorgeous Beach!

"We were totally blown away by the beauty of both the home and the view. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful and the home had literally EVERYTHING you needed to have a great stay! Very secluded and quiet location on the island. Sitting in the pool during the evenings looking up at the stars was a real highlight. My only comment to renters would be to bring as much food to the island as you can because grocery stores are alittle limited. Plus it will minimize the trips to town and keep you enjoying the home. Hopefully we can get the opportunity to return to the Island and home again.......it was by far the most relaxing vacation we've ever had to the hawaiin islands!"

It is also the location of 28 miles of continuous fringing reef, Hawaii's longest. The island is a true outdoor adventure, and can be toured on foot, by bike, or on a four-wheel drive. There are plenty of outdoor areas to visit where you can enjoy the sun and surf. Your stay in Maunaloa can be more enjoyable by staying in Maunaloa beach rentals.

Maunaloa condos put you exactly where you want to be: on the beach. You're just a few steps away from the gorgeous sun and surf, and in walking, biking, and four-wheel driving distance of Molokai's wonderful park and beach. Kalaupapa National Historic Park is a place known for its preservation and restoration. You can take a mule ride along a 2.9 mile trail to the Kalaupapa Peninsula, where you'll see the tallest sea cliffs in the world. You can also discover Papohaku Beach, where you'll discover three miles of soft, uninterrupted sand that's perfect for camping on the beach. Molokai vacation rentals provide the perfect beach vacation.

Maunaloa Condos Provide Several Options for Your Beach Vacation

When you stay in one of the available Maunaloa condos, you're sure to enjoy all of the amenities offered to you as much as the rest of the island. Depending on availability, you can enjoy such pleasures as ocean views, grills, music, movies, full kitchens and balconies. When calling for your reservation, find out which amenities are available to choose from. Most Maunaloa beach rentals can sleep up to four people, but you'll want to double check on occupancy size when you call for reservations.
