  • What you see is exactly what you get!

"You never know who you're renting from, but Cathy was the best! She provided exactly what she promised. The unit was clean, well maintained, and fully stocked right down to a welcome chocolate. Hawaii comes with bugs and the occasional hurricane, but since Cathy lives on site she was available to help and easy to work with, but not judgmental, nosy, or overbearing. I specifically wanted a ground floor unit with easy access to the outdoors. Step outside and watch the sun rise! We had a great time and would rent from her again."

  • Great Place

"We just stayed here and loved it. The kitchen had everything you need. The lanai had a nice high table so we could see the great views. It's an end unit so the lanai seemed even larger. We'd love to come back. Thanks for enabling us to have a wonderful vacation.."

"My wife and I rented this very cute cottage to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. An absolutely GEM!!! Kayaks are a great bonus for active people...we used it every day of our stay (8days total). Another unexpected bonus "watch tropical storm FLOSSY" from the lanai hit us/the island!! Jill the property manager was wonderfull and there for us any time we need her or had hicking questions. Hard to describe everything with so little space, YOU GOT to go to believe it. WE JUST LOVE IT!!! p.s. if you are looking for night life/party this is NOT your ISLAND!!"

"We just got back from Papapa Plantation and we loved every minute of it. The onsite manager was excellent and accommodating both she and the owner went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. The house is spacious and well appointed, we didn't need anything while we were there, the kitchen had everything we needed and wanted, the house was clean and well planned out. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like babies with the sound of the ocean nearby crashing. Our group consisted of 4 adults and a 1,2 and 3 year old and there were plenty of sand toys, pack and plays and everything we needed for the little ones as well. The house is on the dry side of the island which we loved as we had sunshine every day for the pool, we adventured to the more wet and lush east side of the island and really enjoyed the calm beaches there. The beach near the house is beautiful but not the best for swimming, it is however amazing for walking, beach combing and sunsets. We will for sure be back again, in fact, we are thinking of making Papapa an annual tradition."

There are plenty of outdoor areas to visit where you can enjoy the sun and surf. Your stay in Maunaloa can be more enjoyable by staying in Maunaloa beach rentals.
