  • Heaven on earth!

"Paradise? Tranquility? Beauty abound? Romance? Nature? Freedom? Privacy? Gorgeous sunrises? If that's what you are looking for in a get away then this gem is exactly what your looking for! We LOVE this place! Outdoor shower was amazing, so incredibly refreshing. Entertainment at all hours just sitting on the lanai watching the colorful geckos, simply mesmerizing! The cottage is decorated with comfort in mind and had every amenity we could have ever needed. The colors of the plants surrounding every corner of the property takes your breath away! The sunrises were glorious on our own little private beach! Spent three weeks here and enjoyed every moment!"

  • Beautiful, but a little bit cold

"We spent a wonderful week at the condo, hiking, scuba diving, whale watching and just relaxing. We liked the condo very much, everything you need, clean, nice view, ... However, one thing really bothered us: It was quite cold in the beginning. The windows are open all the time, you cannot close them and the wind was blowing inside. Of course no heating in the condo. We had to cover the windows with newspaper and only after that it got a little better. An electric heater for cold days would be a really good idea."

  • Kepuhi Condo Moloka'i

"I just want to say that this property was exactly what we were looking for. It had an amazing view and so peaceful! My girlfriend and I work a lot in the tourism business and we really wanted a place that was relaxing, chill, and enjoyable without the crowds of people. This property was perfect for all of that! Jack made this property easy to rent and quick to respond with all emails of questions and concerns. If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax, and enjoy an amazing vacation....look no further! Jack's property in Kephui was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be returning to Moloka'i and would love the opportunity to rent the exact same unit again. Many mahalos Jack for allowing us to rent your property. Jeremy and Cayenne"

  • A trip down memory lane

"We were here 19 years ago, shortly after we first met, when this was a thriving hotel with golf course, so we were curious to see what had become of it. The hotel and several of the condos that haven't been sold are in bad shape but the others are in good condition, standing on attractive grounds well taken care of. The condos themselves are, of course, somewhat older - but so are we :-) However, the loft with spiral staircase that Rich had installed greatly improves the condo. With the double bed out of the way there's much more space downstairs and sleeping upstairs feels more private as well as being more convenient when one person goes to bed earlier than the other. The kitchen is well equipped, though it has no oven, which for us Europeans is rather strange, and no (electric) kettle. The foodstuff (coffee, spices, jam ...) is on a give-and-take basis which is good as you don't have to buy every single thing you need. There are washers ($1.75 for 30 min) and driers ($1.75 for 60 min) on site but bring plenty of quarters with you because the little shop (open every day from 9 to 5), where you can buy small bags of washing powder, amongst other things, doesn't usually have many and doesn't like to dish them out. Rich is forever responsive and helpful and only happy when his guests are happy. So if you want to get away from it all and experience down-to-earth Hawaii, Molokai is the place to go. And Rich's condo with the fantastic lanai and ocean view makes everything just that little bit better. Oh, and wifi works perfectly, in case you don't want to be completely cut off from the rest of the world."
