  • 2nd Time here!

"Steve's condo is quickly becoming our escape from Honolulu. This is the second time we've stayed here this year and is our only choice for Molokai."

  • Away From the Maddening Crowd

"The island of Molokai is unique in its rural open vistas that are book ended by tropical forests and steep mountains on the east end and wild waves on the rock/sand beaches on the west end. The home in the hills above Papohaku Beach is OUTSTANDING. The accommodations are all modern in well appointed and decorated bedrooms and baths. A fully furnished and equipped kitchen was a great surprise and had everything needed for cooking. The deck looking out across to Oahu and the ocean is the main gathering spot for dining/entertaining and reading. The sunsets are spectacular and a fresh papaya breakfast on the deck (the 30+herd of Axis deer grazing in the field each morning was an added plus) is the way to start a day in paradise. The ability to have a vehicle provided is a must and a great plus to the accommodations. The home location is very private but the town - small grocery, gas, some dining - is a 16+ mile drive. Great place to get away from the fast pace of life and grab a slice a paradise."

  • Aloha Beach House and Moloka'i---a perfect match!

"Stayed 10 days at the Aloha Beach House and it could not have been better. The house really is steps away from the ocean. What the pictures of the interior don't show is that you're only seeing the bottom half of the rooms. There are wonderful vaulted ceilings especially in the great room (living, dining, kitchen) and master bedroom which provide light and air. It's instant therapy! You just feel lighter and happier. The house is located on the east end of the island, which is wetter. We enjoyed (probably because we're from Oregon) the rain several nights and the variable weather. The ever-changing views of the ocean, Maui and Lana'i were fantastic! And the most unbelievable thing was you could stand in the ocean at low tide a few hundred feet from the beach and see absolutely no one else in the water or on the beach. Hard to believe in this noisy, crowded world. Do your research on Moloka'i. No real night life and no 24/7 businesses but an incredible place to visit. And the beach house is highly recommended. Washer/dryer was enormous plus and house equipped with pretty much everything you'll need."

  • Everything for a relaxing holiday

"We stayed here for 10 days in March 2014. Had problem finding unit due to odd numbering system but luckily one of residents helped us out. Unit is lovely, absolutely everything catered for, no need to buy seldom used items like condiments etc as plenty available. Kitchen very well equipped with everything we needed. Bed very comfortable. We did find not having glass in top half of windows in bedroom draughty as the weather was quite windy and wet for couple days when we first arrived. Again owner had thought of everything and we piled on the extra blankets stored under the bed. We didn't need fans at all as weather not hot enough. (We used to live in Middle East where 30 deg upwards is the norm.). Views from Lanai beautiful as were sunsets. Beach mostly deserted, great for taking wave/surf photos or just sunbathing. Pool ideal to cool off when weather warm enough. We were kindly supplied with local information by agent, very useful. At first it seemed to be a long drive into town but we got used to it, specially as there is hardly any traffic on the road and scenery lovely. Local fruit/veg farm on the way (kumu) definitely worth stopping at. The little shop on the site also stocks things you might forget or run out of. Staff on site very friendly. A car is needed to see the Island although there is a free bus service which stops at the complex and takes 10-15 minutes into town. Would highly recommend this unit for a relaxing stay on a beautiful island. We wished we had booked it for much longer and hope to return sometime in the future."
