  • The real paradise in Hawaii!

"It was my first time I went to Molokai and I feel that I met the real paradise. Molokai has paradisal beaches, hi kings, waterfalls, and who loves adventure will be surprised by such amazing nature. I stayed from Dec,30, 2014 to Jan, 2nd in this gorgeous sandy beach front house with my fiancé, and I would recommend for everyone who is thinking about spend a time by the sea, enjoying a beautiful island nature. The house is comfortable and perfect to host a family. I am counting my days to come back to molokai and stay at this peaceful and blessed place again!"

  • Aloha Beach House and Moloka'i---a perfect match!

"Stayed 10 days at the Aloha Beach House and it could not have been better. The house really is steps away from the ocean. What the pictures of the interior don't show is that you're only seeing the bottom half of the rooms. There are wonderful vaulted ceilings especially in the great room (living, dining, kitchen) and master bedroom which provide light and air. It's instant therapy! You just feel lighter and happier. The house is located on the east end of the island, which is wetter. We enjoyed (probably because we're from Oregon) the rain several nights and the variable weather. The ever-changing views of the ocean, Maui and Lana'i were fantastic! And the most unbelievable thing was you could stand in the ocean at low tide a few hundred feet from the beach and see absolutely no one else in the water or on the beach. Hard to believe in this noisy, crowded world. Do your research on Moloka'i. No real night life and no 24/7 businesses but an incredible place to visit. And the beach house is highly recommended. Washer/dryer was enormous plus and house equipped with pretty much everything you'll need."

  • Perfect!

"We absolutely loved staying at the Hilltop Cottage, we were lucky to have 10 nights here. The cottage had everything we needed, very comfortable bed, kitchen well equipped and the lanai, where we spent a lot of time just watching the ever changing sky, the egrets soaring above the green below and the whales spraying and breeching, the lights of Maui at night and the stars like we've never seen them before! Good snorkeling and swimming beaches close by. Not a huge trek to drive into town for supplies, which we always enjoyed. After a week here we felt like part of the Moloka'i Ohana! For anyone who truly wants to get away, we found the Hilltop Cottage absolutely ideal and we hope to return very, very soon. Mahalo Kehau"

  • Wonderful Yard

"The other reviews do a nice job of describing Molokai. I'd only say that we wish that we'd had more time on the island. A long weekend wasn't enough to explore everything. The property itself is delightful. The yard really is as large as the pictures make it look. It's landscaped in such a way that we couldn't see the house to the south and only from the back of the yard could we see the house to the north, so it feels very private. There are many coconut palms (and we had fresh coconut on our last day after finding one that had fallen), papaya trees, lilikoi, and lots of other things I don't know the names of. As others have mentioned, the gazebo is quite nice for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. From the house and the yard, there is a clear view of Maui and Lanai. (I think that was also Kaho'Olawe in the distance.) As you'd expect from somewhere relatively rural, at night there are zillions of stars. Being on the east end of the island, you will want to stock up on food, etc., since there's no quick trip to the store. On the other hand, it's quiet and peaceful with little traffic. The house itself works well. The space is laid out efficiently, so we felt like we had enough space for cooking, eating, sleeping, and lounging around. I hope to be able to return to Molokai soon to explore what we missed. I'd definitely stay here again."
