  • The real paradise in Hawaii!

"It was my first time I went to Molokai and I feel that I met the real paradise. Molokai has paradisal beaches, hi kings, waterfalls, and who loves adventure will be surprised by such amazing nature. I stayed from Dec,30, 2014 to Jan, 2nd in this gorgeous sandy beach front house with my fiancé, and I would recommend for everyone who is thinking about spend a time by the sea, enjoying a beautiful island nature. The house is comfortable and perfect to host a family. I am counting my days to come back to molokai and stay at this peaceful and blessed place again!"

  • Aloha Beach House and Moloka'i---a perfect match!

"Stayed 10 days at the Aloha Beach House and it could not have been better. The house really is steps away from the ocean. What the pictures of the interior don't show is that you're only seeing the bottom half of the rooms. There are wonderful vaulted ceilings especially in the great room (living, dining, kitchen) and master bedroom which provide light and air. It's instant therapy! You just feel lighter and happier. The house is located on the east end of the island, which is wetter. We enjoyed (probably because we're from Oregon) the rain several nights and the variable weather. The ever-changing views of the ocean, Maui and Lana'i were fantastic! And the most unbelievable thing was you could stand in the ocean at low tide a few hundred feet from the beach and see absolutely no one else in the water or on the beach. Hard to believe in this noisy, crowded world. Do your research on Moloka'i. No real night life and no 24/7 businesses but an incredible place to visit. And the beach house is highly recommended. Washer/dryer was enormous plus and house equipped with pretty much everything you'll need."

  • Perfect!

"We absolutely loved staying at the Hilltop Cottage, we were lucky to have 10 nights here. The cottage had everything we needed, very comfortable bed, kitchen well equipped and the lanai, where we spent a lot of time just watching the ever changing sky, the egrets soaring above the green below and the whales spraying and breeching, the lights of Maui at night and the stars like we've never seen them before! Good snorkeling and swimming beaches close by. Not a huge trek to drive into town for supplies, which we always enjoyed. After a week here we felt like part of the Moloka'i Ohana! For anyone who truly wants to get away, we found the Hilltop Cottage absolutely ideal and we hope to return very, very soon. Mahalo Kehau"

  • Retreat and relax to the home away from home!

"We arrived on 3 April, 2015, expecting an overpriced vacation rental with a ton of house rules. To our surprise, the little cottage is exactly the opposite. The property is fenced in which provides a safety net for the kids in the yard. The yard is extremely large and well maintained. There are a variety of beautiful flowers and fruits growing on the property. There is motion lighting at the front gate which is really nice and a plus at night. The ocean side of the property is bordered with hedges which makes it difficult to see the ocean from the home. There are a number of paths that lead to the ocean and is easy to access. The kids won't have a problem moving to and from the shoreline. The only concern is the shoreline is rocky with limited sand areas. The rocks are slippery making it hard to walk with slippers and dangerous for the kids. The house is beautiful and well maintained. There are lots of picture windows, curtains and the breeze passes through easily. The house has two decent sized bedrooms with firm queen sized beds. The bedroom closest to the highway tends to be noisy from the road traffic. However, the second bedroom is quiet and breezy. The livingroom area is spacious and the couches are comfortable. You will want to nap on the couches as it's the best spot in the house. The kitchen area is awesome with a full range, sink, refrigerator and dishes. There are condiments and small food items left from previous visitors. We left a few bottled waters as my wife used some of the hot tea packets. There is a washer machine on site and laundry line for wet clothing. I gave the property four stars because of the rocky shoreline."
