"We can not say enough wonderful things about this great place in paradise. We had everything we wanted and more. We have stayed in a lot of B&Bs around the world and we have to say that this is one of the best. If you are not happy here you are not happy anywhere. We recommend this to family, friends and just about everyone. We will be back and looking forward to the next time."

  • Huge outdoor area... but hot stay!!

"A group of 10 friends stayed at this house for a week and really enjoyed the huge space this property offered. The most impressive area was the outdoor kitchen/porch/pool area. We spent most of our time out there. Having the huge lawn space was also a positive as we played lots of lawn games. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen has lots of cooking dishes, and lots of beach towels and beach gear were available by the owner. The neighborhood location is great... Safe and easy to walk/run to the beach or grocery store. Great location for either Kailua Beach or Lanikai beach. It's about .8 miles from the house to Kailua Beach. Unfortunately we stayed here during a week where there were no trade winds and it was about 90 degrees during the day... 83-85 degrees at night. With all the doors and windows open, the house and property had no breeze making it a bit unbearable... And I come from a humid and hot climate. The owner provides plenty of movable fans... No ceiling fans in the bedrooms. However, this week the fans did little to cool us off. The house was a bit of a sauna so we spent most of our time in the pool... An ice cold shower in the outdoor shower helped too. Overall the stay was great and the property is really wonderful for large groups looking for huge outdoor space and pool!"

  • Totally the right side of the Island to be on

"My family had a great time. Loved the homes location. In between to major grocery stores and within walking distance to the beach. The house was very cleaned and well stocked. It was so nice to have the pool there since I have a teen and pre-teen, we got a lot of use out of it. We would/will totally stay there again if we were to go to back."

  • Serenity Discovered

"A Big Thank you to Karen & Brian, Bella & Curly for providing us the first really relaxing vacation we have ever been on! We are usually in Waikiki and very ready to go home after 7-8 days, this time we really did NOT want to leave. This place was truly our little piece of Paradise to come home to. We really did have beach access right across the street. We got up every morning to watch the sunrise over Rabbit Island and even drove out to hike the 30 minutes to see an amazing sunrise at the Makapu'u lighthouse trail. We even saw whales playing in the morning rays. There was exceptional snorkeling at the Kaiiona park! There was so much to do relaxing on private beautiful serene beaches and eating all the local cuisine. The little Shima's supermarket had the most wonderful fresh papaya every day, but you have to get there early as it goes fast. They also have an Amazing Poke Bar that is a must see! Brian & Karen are so welcoming and wonderful! They really thought of all the comforts of home. There is a ceiling fan & area air conditioning unit that creates a very comfortable temperature. The unit is very roomy & even though it was only 2 of us we would have been still very comfortable with 4 people. We will definitely use this little hide-a-way in the future if there is availability. Mahalo for the Sweet Hawaiian Spirit of this Beachside Paradise!"
