  • Back for Reunion

"This was just what we were looking for in beautiful Kailua! Perfect location and owned by very kind family. Very comfortable and clean accommodations, short walk to amazing 3 mile Kailua beach and close to town of Kailua. We hope to return sometime soon!"

  • It is a tropical paradise!

"I had the pleasure of spending a week in Laurel’s Hale Lilikoi B&B in Kailua. When we arrived we were greeted by Laurel and her black lab with a bowl of fresh pineapple. The accommodations were excellent and comfortable. The room is bright and nicely decorated which made our stay so enjoyable. Close to everything including the famous general store down the street. We had our morning Kona coffee there and interacted with the locals. Kailua beach is just awesome! Everything is so convenient to other parts of Oahu and the navigation system Laurel provided was a big help."

  • Picture Perfect Paradise

"I had put off writing a review because it pained me greatly to have to leave this tropical paradise and return to NYC. This home has the most amazing backyard and picturesque view. When I showed friends my photos they accused me of showing them postcard pictures. Candis was traveling but her sister and mother greeted my group in person and left us a welcome basket overflowing with wonderful items. Waking up to the sunset here is the stuff dreams are made of. The location is great because it is at the end of the street and the beach is totally private except for kayakers in the distance. I only regretted running around the island too much to really enjoy the property more. Highly recommended and thanks for sharing your home!"

  • Great value for this unbeatable location!

"We just returned from a 4-night stay at the Bamboo Cottage and absolutely loved it! Such a clean, bright and airy space that was furnished very tastefully, too. Felt great to wake up to the sun and the birds every morning at sunrise. The cottage adjoins the main house, but there is still privacy via a fence and separate entrance. Kitchenette was exactly what we needed for breakfast and lunch (full size fridge was able to fit our Whole Foods shopping trip...yes there is a Whole Foods in Kailua). Shower was awesome. Note that there is no A/C in the cottage, but the two overhead fans cool the place off well, and frankly, I find the open air of windows (there are plenty of open windows with screens about 10 ft up) and fans to be more sleepable and relaxing. Kailua Beach access was about a 7 minute walk away at one of the few public access points in town - SO convenient! It felt good NOT to be in the hustle and bustle of give you an idea Kailua beach is one of the calmest and cleanest beaches we found on Oahu. Enough waves if you want to surf or boogie board on small stuff in the afternoon....plenty of open and clean sand to lay out and enjoy. Host provided beach chairs, bamboo mats and a cooler to make your beach outings even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!"
