  • Great House!

"My husband I stayed there recently with our two year old son. We were visiting his family who live in Honolulu and this house was perfect as a home base. We stayed there for two weeks and it had everything that we could ever need. It is spacious and well furnished and the beds are very comfortable. In addition, it's all one level and the steps from one room to the other were small so our toddler negotiated them very easily. The house is in a quiet street - great for taking walks on with our son and it was only 5 minutes from the beach. We borrowed a friend's car while we were there and having garage parking was appreciated, plus there was enough room for family to visit us in the drive way (two additional spaces). There is another house directly behind the one we rented that the owners also rent out the downstairs while living upstairs and we were never bothered or even felt like others were around which is key to a vacation ;). I highly reccommend this property and we will DEFINITELY be back. Mahalo Carol for your house making this visit the best I've ever had in the 14 years I have been visiting Hawaii."

  • Best of Paradise, just unbeatable

"We have travelled a lot and also know Lanikai and Kailua quite well, as my husband went to high-school there. We know all the Hawaiian Island and this private gated area with it´s private beach is definitely the best place to stay in Paradise! We have been here with our three little kids (1-5 years) and we just loved it. Even after one week you can not get used to this incredible look and feelling you have in this great location and every time we came back from shopping, etc. we were like wow, this is our place to stay and I was very proud my husband found this place! Gina and all the property staff are really great and very helpful with any detail we were asking. We enjoyed our vacation a lot and we will definitely be back in August 2015. We are just booking right now, but this time we will stay longer, because you can´t get this privacy any were else in the world!"

  • great stay and location

"After going around various places at Oahu I strongly believe that Waimanalo beach is the best fit for those who are seeking a romantic and crowdless setting. Great sandy beach is behind the door (cottage is located in front line with short passage to the beach), almost no people there. The village itself is very beautiful with all necessary facilities available e.g shops and places to eat. Further on, there are a lot of places of interests in the short distance - I was waking up every day at 6am and went for one of nearby hiking routes like Koko Head and others. Equally convenient coastal road to the direction of Honolulu and to north where we have been to Kualoa ranch."

  • Can't Wait to Go Back!

"This was a great place to stay for our family vacation. My wife and I along with our 11 year old daughter spent 8 days at the cottage. The location was fantastic as everything was an easy drive. Each day we were here, we were able to visit so many places and sights that the island had to offer. We visited Hanauma Bay, Dole Plantation, Punchbowl, Makaha Beach, North Shore, among others. The location of the cottage allowed for easy day trips to see the entire island. The most beautiful of all the beaches was actually right across the street, just steps away. We spent many mornings enjoying a cup of coffee while sitting on the beach during sunrise and finished most of our days with a quick, relaxing swim right there. Another of the many reasons we would stay here again was the fact that you can wake up and prepare breakfast to start your day versus having to eat at a restaurant every meal during your trip. This definitely saved some money in the long run as well. We were also able to cook dinner on the gas grill at the cottage. The last and most important reason we would stay here again is the owners of the cottage. From the first inquiry we made regarding availability, they were so helpful and answered all of our questions. Upon arrival, my family were truly greeted as though we were members of their family. We felt so welcomed and yet never once felt that we weren't given our own privacy. In fact, on a personal note, we wish we could have spent more time "talking story". They were very willing to share local knowledge (especially where to get the freshest fish to cook on the grill!) as well as suggestions of other sights to see. I would absolutely recommend staying at this beach cottage and can't wait to see our new friends again!"
