  • Cozy cottage steps away from the beach

"The cottage was a perfect place for 6 of us - 2 adults with four young children. The kitchen was easy to use, bedrooms air-conditioned with lots of books and toys for our elementary school children. There were plenty of beach toys too - body boards, floats, rugby balls and many more. The back yard was a great place to dry our swim suits, shower off the sand or just hang out in the sun or under the coconut tree. Lanikai beach was just steps away and was perfect for our family vacation. I will recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a relaxing time off with family or friends."

  • Perfect

"My wife and I stayed at Pualani's Place for a week - which included her birthday. A wonderful place. Just as described. Simply and beautifully decorated, the cottage had everything we needed. Ideal location. Quiet and private. We walked the beautiful beach at sunrise, then had coffee on the lanai - just as promised. Kailua is a nice, non-touristy town, with good restaurants and a Wholefoods for stocking up on breakfast and picnic items. We strongly recommend Pualani's Place, with no reservations at all."

  • Perfect location, great cottage

"We loved Kelly & Pat's beautiful, spacious and well-appointed cottage, just a short stroll to one of the top beaches in the world. They thought of everything- lots of beach equipment, plentiful towels, washer/dryer, kitchen, and a super comfortable space with a big screen porch for sleeping, lounging, watching movies or eating. They are perfect hosts- friendly, welcoming and responsive, but also leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. We will definitely be back- what a great experience. (and the price is really reasonable for the amount of space and amenities)."

  • Family Vacation in Paradise

"The house was exactly as the description and pictures show. My multigenerational family of 11 had an amazing time at this rental property and in Kailua. The house was beautiful and comfortable. It was nice knowing there was a washer and dryer in the house for lighter packing. Also there is a clothes line to dry your bathing suit which came in handy. The pool and outdoor seating were perfect and a great way to come home and relax after a day sightseeing or at the beach. The walk to the beach is less than 10 minutes. On the way back we loved stopping at Island Snow for shave ice. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of Kailua town. Easy to get to groceries and a cute little downtown area. We tried poke at Hibachi (a short walk from the house) and they even had tofu poke for my vegan boyfriend. I also recommend Agnes' Portuguese Bakery for the malasadas, you can call ahead and pick them up hot. Kittie was helpful and available from the time I called with questions up to the day we left. There was nobody coming in the day we left and she let my family use the house late to accomodate thier late flight. We went to many beaches on Oahu and Maui during our trip and none compared to Kailua, definitely our favorite! Not only would I recommend this house to friends or relatives, I can't wait to come back wth friends or relatives! Thank you again Kittie, for sharing your home with my family. The house really made the vacation awesome."
