"In the 1930's, Honolulu businessmen would purchase cottages for their families on the windward coast where trade winds and showers create a cool, verdant paradise. You may rent this very cottage. It has everything you need--internet, appliances, TV--but remains vintage 1930. Happily, the price has not been updated either. You may stay for a month instead of a week. The location is ideal, near the small town of Kailua with great restaurants and a beach recognized as one of the finest in the world. In thirty minutes you can be shopping in Honolulu or exploring remote beaches.
We love the mornings and evenings, dining on the lanai, looking across a vast expanse of lawn where your neighbors stroll beneath the coconut palms, where plovers and cardinals hunt for seeds in the grass. This is a home, not a rental. Neither is it a resort experience. It is a beautiful place lost in time where the residents seem to have walked away decades ago, their ukuleles and photos still on the walls. My family has returned five times."

"This place is in a great location. Beautiful view. On the prettier side of the island. I was amazed how swiftly we could drive around to various beaches and activities because of the central location outside the traffic of Honolulu. They thought of every little detail... Soft bedding, snacks on arrival, k cups, soft Martha Stewart towels, all different beach gear, boogie boards, ton of guide books/maps, and the list goes on. Amazing stay and safe, clean, comfortable place."

"Our first time to Hawaii! My husband and I were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we rented this wonderful home with my sister, her husband, my brother and his wife. We spent 7 days and just loved it. The beach was just a short drive away and is, I think, one of the best beaches in Oahu. The house had everything you needed except food and snacks. Plenty of dishes, utensils, appliances, cleaning supplies, paper products, spices and some condiments. The house is large with plenty of room to spread out for 6 adults. There are stores and restaurants nearby and Honolulu is about 30 minutes or so away. The neighborhood is very quiet and secure. Patrick was great in that he didn't hang around but was just 5 or so houses away it we needed him. The WI-FI was convenient and there were two flat screen TV's. The house also has a nice library of DVD's and books. The pool was clean and oh so pretty at night with the lights and the fountain going. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a safe, secure and roomy place to stay."

"We rented this lovely home for 9 days. It was great. We rented it because we really wanted a pool. The pool was great and the home was exactly as described. The owners were also great - they responded when we needed them but completely respected our privacy! It was great!! Thanks and we look forward to coming back!!!"
