  • Great time in Kailua

"We really enjoyed the Suite Spot, especially the breezy deck and its location near the beach and the Kaiwa Ridge (Pillboxes) Trail. We appreciated the guidebooks and beach gear, which we used, and the quiet neighborhood. We would love to come back."

"My husband and I stayed at the studio condo for 10 days. It was very clean and airy with good lighting on the 2nd floor. The Murphy pull down bed was SO comfortable. It was a soft foam mattress. The location was so convenient too, 5-10 minute walk to Target, USPS, Whole Foods, Long's, etc. And a quick drive to Kailua Beach. The stackable washer and dryer in the bathroom allowed us to do a couple of laundry loads throughout the week. We also had access to beach supplies like an inner tube, cooler, and beach chairs & towels. The condo is in sort of a gated community with other complexes, so you share the street parking with other residents. Parking wasn't much of an issue, although it can be harder to find a spot after 5:00 PM. If anything you can drive out of the condo neighborhood and towards the shops and find street parking there. I would definitely come back and I recommend this rental to others. My favorite part of the stay was being so close to the beach and the stores, very walkable. The owners left their contact information for us when we first arrived in case we needed anything. They were very nice. Thank you"

  • Huge outdoor area... but hot stay!!

"A group of 10 friends stayed at this house for a week and really enjoyed the huge space this property offered. The most impressive area was the outdoor kitchen/porch/pool area. We spent most of our time out there. Having the huge lawn space was also a positive as we played lots of lawn games. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen has lots of cooking dishes, and lots of beach towels and beach gear were available by the owner. The neighborhood location is great... Safe and easy to walk/run to the beach or grocery store. Great location for either Kailua Beach or Lanikai beach. It's about .8 miles from the house to Kailua Beach. Unfortunately we stayed here during a week where there were no trade winds and it was about 90 degrees during the day... 83-85 degrees at night. With all the doors and windows open, the house and property had no breeze making it a bit unbearable... And I come from a humid and hot climate. The owner provides plenty of movable fans... No ceiling fans in the bedrooms. However, this week the fans did little to cool us off. The house was a bit of a sauna so we spent most of our time in the pool... An ice cold shower in the outdoor shower helped too. Overall the stay was great and the property is really wonderful for large groups looking for huge outdoor space and pool!"
