  • Best rental, just book it!

"My mom went with me on my trip and this house was perfect. I'd recommend it because it's so close to the most beautiful beach we saw and we drove the coast from Pearl Harbor to Kailua. A great beach for sunrise/sunset walks. The town is fun to visit, lots of places to eat and shop and easy to walk around. Free assigned parking, free wifi and free coffee. The owners are incredibly nice and very helpful with recommendations. This place will not disappoint."

  • Kai Nani Cottage

"Our family stay at Kai Nani was fantastic! We really appreciated all of the amenities Kai Nani offers such as the bikes, beach towels, boogie boards, and chairs. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were decorated so well! We liked the option of using charcoal or gas for our great barbecues in the backyard. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The services by the property manager were professional and friendly. She reached out to us several times to make sure we were enjoying our stay; we really appreciated her warm welcome! Our only slight concern was the noise level from the busy street out front. We highly recommend choosing this property for your vacation. We hope to visit again next year."

  • Perfect

"As a returning resident of Kailua traveling with a guest who had never visited Hawaii, easy beach access was important to me. The location of this rental property couldn't be any better. Nestled just one home away from the beach, with private gated access, this property is immaculately maintained and tastefully appointed. There is virtually no traffic noise from North Kalaheo, only the soothing sounds of the doves cooing and the waves lapping the pristine shores of the bay. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, ample drawer and closet space and windows that allow flow through ventilation. In the unlikely event that a guest might want air conditioning, the windows seal well and the window unit cools and dehumidifies the entire space efficiently. John is a gracious host and keeps the property spotlessly clean and uncluttered. The outside storage shelves are very handy for storing beach gear and provide an assortment of boogie boards, sand toys for children, even a cooler for your convenience. The polished concrete floors feel cool under foot and are easy to sweep if you should track sand into your living space. Although watching TV was not a priority for us, the large flat screen and comfortable couch came in handy for watching the super bowl and catching the evening news for weather, wind and surf reports. Finally, the foot rinsing station and heated outdoor shower are convenient and offer just the right amount of privacy to get the salt and sand off after returning from the beach. Kudos to John for setting up the perfect Kailua Beach vacation rental."

  • DO NOT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE! Talk about right on a private beach! Your own piece of Heaven.

"I mean directly on the world's ranked No. 1 beach, with fine soft white sand, turquoise water, gentle breeze, amazing sun rise and panoramic view. This is the best place on the Island, why would you want to go anywhere else. I did a lot of research and places say at the beach, steps from the beach, yards from the beach but they wasn’t directly ON the beach. We came to Oahu for our tenth Anniversary plus it was on my bucket list! *The outside is an amazing place. There is a direct access to the lawn sitting area in front of the beach, basically used only by the renters. We had our morning coffee, while watching the sun rise from the lawn. There is no parking fees and right in front of your own private entrance! *The apartment has a living room area to watch TV with a room divider door in case someone is still sleeping, a long large desk that we used to eat lunch or look up our plans for the day on our laptop. There is a comfortable King size bed, plenty of pillows and extra blankets in the closet. The ceiling fans and the trade winds keep the apartment very cool in the summer. How about the closet space, way more than enough room for the 4 suitcases I brought….lol There is a great kitchenette which includes a washer/dryer, how great is that! Outside they have a clothes line to hang your bathing suits up if you don’t like to put them in the dryer and an outside shower to wash off sand. You could just stay in the apartment your entire stay but you must see the sites. I recommend the Polynesian Culture Center with luau and show. It was awesome! *The owners Shari and her father Herb are warm and friendly and are there only when you need them. They have their own yard and entrance. It is very quiet and you don’t even know they are there. They have beach chairs, snorkeling masks, cooler and Boogie boards for your use. We stayed here for 4 nights and then the Outrigger Waikiki Shore on the Beach for 6 nights. The Outrigger was ok but not the privacy, not the sand, not the relaxation, overcrowded and loud. Not the price and parking was 35. a night. When I arrived in Waikiki I just kept thinking about Kailua Beach and how much I missed it. You could still stay in Kailua and travel to Waikiki for the sites. Pilipu Place is only 20-25 minutes away. So, I suggest you pick this place as you will not be disappointed. Book soon as it will book up fast! Thanks Shari and Herb for a great vacation! Miss you"
