"My family (4 including 1 toddler) and friend (2) stayed at the beachfront 3 bd rental again this year since we were super impressed last year. As a conclusion, we are impressed, as expected. Most probably we will come again.
We were welcomed by Airan and Kevin as last year and had a quick introduction of the rental last year. Almost no changes in terms of spec of rental house: maintained and cleaned well, pretty nice size of kitchen, dining, and living room, bathroom with Japanese style tub (shower room also), beautiful front and back yard which is good for my baby to play around, and super easy access (since it is beach front) for wonderful and quiet Kailua beach which is perfect for baby to play and chase dogs, and also perfect for adults to swim, kayaking and SUPing, and quick chat with locals to reset and clean-up mind set and ready to back to daily busy life (Rental shop of Kayak / SUP is at 30 second drive / few minutes walk from rental, which is super close. Guy over there is friendly and helpful. I really recommend to try). We had 2 cars but no problem for parking space.
While we have minor issues (wifi connections etc), Airan / Kevin got back to me and followed up in quickly/timely manner. Such timely follow-up was basically found communication with Airan / Kevin throughout, which I really appreciated. Local info by Airan also useful to find destination.
Again, I am impressed, and will have 3rd time stay there. I am sure.

"Todd the owner of this cottage met us on arrival but left us to it after that, he is no Mr Faulty which is great. He is a really lovey chap to deal with. There were chocolates and coffee to welcome us. Plenty of fresh towels and cakes of soap are provided. There is also a washing machine and dryer which keeps towels fresh. The cottage is situated in a near perfect distance from the beach and main town, we walked it every day. The bus service is also amazing, we travelled it to pearl Harbour and the markets at the stadium. Whole Foods is the closet supermarket supermarket with happy hour everyday day from 3 - 7! Great to walk up after a day at the beach for a beer and something to cook on the bar b que. The cottage has some essentials for cooking which I imagine are donated by guests as they leave (I did throw out some past expiry tea bags). Air conditioning would be a bonus during very hot humid conditions like we experienced, but it's manageable once you get used to just having fans. Don't expect new and shiny, but that is why the atmosphere here is so good. The bed is the most comfortable king bed you could wish for. A few barking dogs in the neighbourhood but otherwise lovely peaceful sleep."

"We recently came back and had a great vacation in Kailua. My family of 5 (3 kids) and my parents were there and we all thought the house was perfect. There was also more than enough room for us. The house was clean, well stocked, well maintained etc. We had 3 kids, 7 and under and there were plenty of beach toys, towels etc - everything you would need that you won't need to buy and leave while on vacation. The pack n play and sheets were great to have there. The convenient walk to the beach alone was perfect. The convenience store about 2 houses down was great- best coffee and sandwiches. Best pizza store was about a block away. We were really happy with our choice and felt right at home and didn't want to leave at the end of our vacation. All in all we would go back and would recommend the house to anyone looking to go to Oahu/Kailua. The beach right down the street was amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer!"
