  • Great

"The Palm Villa was amazing for our first visit to Hawaii! The two bedrooms , two bathrooms and kitchenette area fit our family of four perfectly! We really appreciated the use of all the extras we couldn't take on the plane with us like the bikes, cooler, snorkeling gear, beach mats and beach towels. Having the grill, pool, and washer and drier were all added bonuses that we really appreciated! The Villa's location was perfect being just a walk down the private lane away from Kailua Beach park where we could enjoy the white sand beach, swim and watch the kite surfers. The villa was also only a quick run and bike ride away from Lanikai beach where we could do some amazing snorkeling! The bike trails around Kailua and Lanikai were amazing. It was wonderful to be able to be within running, walking or biking distance away from both the market and the shops and restaurants in Kailua. The Lanikai hiking trail had an amazing view and being just a bike ride away was such a blessing! Renting kayaks and taking them to Flat Island and to the other larger island was tough but such an exciting adventure! A ride to the North Shore was about an hour but many things like Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor, and Diamond Head Trail were only 30 minutes away which was nice. This location in Kailua Beach was great for being able to really see and experience the beauty of Hawaii away from the crowds. We really appreciated Zak's help and hospitality!"

  • Very nice property

"Stayed here for 10 days, family of five with teenage children. The property is very clean and well maintained. It is tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Even though they live next door we had complete privacy. The nearest beach is 15-20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. About the same distance to closest amenities and town center. The nearest beach is perfect for boogie boarding (boards available at the property), for swimming and snorkeling go to Lanikai beach (about 10 minutes drive) We greatly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this property."

  • Hated to leave. Just got home and will endure the 12 hour plane trip ASAP to return

"Our two families shared this house with 4 adults and 3 teenagers. It had everything we needed and then some. The house was spacious and neat. The breezes that swept through the house kept us cool w/o AC. The sunrises were outstanding as was the beach. The location was great. Kailua is an excellent choice for your family vacation. Even though we used the grill every night there are places to go out to dinner and things to do. Honolulu is a crazy big city. Go on a day trip and return back to Kailua at night"

  • nice property

"We really enjoyed our stay at the guest house. The place is really well stocked with everything you would need. The pool is nice and the area is beautiful. It was a short drive to Honolulu but far enough away that it felt homey, not so touristy. The only complaint i would share is that the walls in each bedroom are open to the livingroom, so if one person is awake, and makes any noise at all everyone can hear them. So lets just say there was no sleeping in. The gecko's that others speak of were minimal. And only one in the house that i saw. A lady came over exactly at 11 on the day we were leaving so if you stay plan to be out of the house by 11. Fortunately, we were in the car pulling out of the driveway."
