"As a family on vacation in Oahu we spent 1 week at this rental home and were very happy with our choice everyday. Upon entering the upstairs we were in awe of the beautiful ocean front view. Windows all along the room provided a stunning view of the ocean and surrounding island. Watching the sunrise and sunsets were a favorite! The window vents added a cool ocean breeze throughout the day and evening. The home is modern and spacious. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook (pans, utensils, dinnerware, spices, ect) The 2nd floor outdoor lanai was a great quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee or breakfast. The master bedroom was spacious as well as the master bath with plenty of closet storage. The other 2 bedrooms were simple but comfortable. The heated pool was a fun place to hang out. Some great amenities include washer and dyer, bbq pit, beach towels, beach toys, and a welcome basket full of local fruit and chocolates which was a nice treat. Not only was the home beautiful but the owners were very pleasant to deal with. Our stay was originally scheduled for the week of hurricane Iselle, however the owners allowed us to reschedule our stay for a week later. They were very kind and quick to respond to our situation. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this home and have so many wonderful memories that will last a lifetime."Guest: Hernandez F. "We stayed at Lihikai in celebration of our son's college graduation. There were a total of four adults on this trip. The house looks exactly like it does in the pictures, only better. The lay-out of this home was well thought-out. The main master bedroom is huge. The second master bedroom is large too and is totally private. The rest of the bedrooms were spacious as well. The kitchen, family room, dining and living room were all in an open space layout. This was perfect for all of us being together while we cooked dinner, watched TV on the big cozy couch , and settled in for the night. The house was clean and well maintained. Plenty of ceiling fans throughout and AC in the bedrooms from 5pm - 7am. The heated swimming pool is the center piece of the home. It is private, yet centrally located within the layout of the home. You can see the pool from just about every room in the house. After a day at the beach, or sightseeing, we would enjoy the pool every night. It was very refreshing and relaxing. There were plenty of pool toys and towels. The house is located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. There were no busy streets to cross to get to the beach. Just walk two houses down to the private beach access and you are at the beach in 2 minutes. The house was equipped with beach chairs, mats, scuba and boogie boards. The beach was beautiful, good sand, no seaweed and not crowed at all. Even had a turtle swim past me in the water. There is also easy access to paddle board and canoe rentals. Nearby places to check-out within walking distance of the house are: Buzz's Steakhouse, Kalapawai Market (great sandwiches), and Island Snow for a tasty treat. Booking this vacation was easy. You are dealing directly with the owner and the property care taker upon arrival. This was the perfect family vacation. A twenty-minute drive from Honolulu Airport and your away from all of the tourists and crowed beaches of Waikiki. It was our own private oasis."Guest: Irene J.
