  • Perfect for our trip - 13 guests

"The house was great - it fit our large party very nicely. The pool was beautiful too. Plenty of seating, bedrooms, etc. Plenty of parking. Kailua Beach was 3 blocks away and one of the nicest beaches we have ever visited, so of course we went there every day. Becky was very attentive and took care of a few small issues for us very quickly. I would absolutely recommend this property for anyone in need of a vacation house."

  • Comfortable, private and low-key

"My husband and I really relaxed and felt comfortable the seven nights we stayed in Tradewinds Cottage. There was enough room for us to not feel on top of each other for the week we were there, but it would be crowded with more than two people. The beach is close enough to bring your morning coffee to watch the sunrise, and your evening drink to watch the moonrise. So much was provided- beach gear, kitchen accessories, maps and info- that it was easy to just jump into our time in Kailua. The first morning we were there we walked to the farmer's market and picked up produce and treats for the first few days we were there, then later walked to the mid-week market to pick-up more. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful and prompt during the whole process. There was a busier road nearby so traffic noise was higher at some times but I never felt it was overwhelming. Kailua was the perfect fit for us and we would definitely stay in the Tradewinds again if we are ever back in Oahu."

  • Great little Unit and Love Kailua

"Fantastic Unit for 2 people and yes this is not the Hilton by any means but the rooms are neat and clean ideally suited for showering and laying your head down for the night....besides the rest of the time you should be exploring Oahu. Parking for your car, Washer dryer to clean your clothes, fantastic neighborhood and close to all amenities plus one of the best beaches on the island (Lanikai Beach) makes this place a great value. Big Plus is the Location, making easy access to all the major Hwys and your on the quite side of the island."

  • Great value

"Very clean well kept cottage. Lots of windows with plenty of air movement...rarely used the air conditioner. Relatively quiet area not really close to the beach. It is probably a 20-25 minute walk which can be a bit much carrying all your beach attire. Really nice owner and Rosie the dog will greet you as you come and go. Car definitely needed to get around. Would stay again for sure."
