"I travel to the Islands on a annual basis, this visit was the best thus far.... The Property was fantastic, better than the pictures! Laycie the manager was always available to answer questions, offer advice and let me know of the best locations to visit while on the Island... My family had the best time and fell in Love with this property, it is well managed and VERY clean (Detailed) it had all of the items needed for outdoor entertainment as well as all of the amenities inside, all we had to do was shop for our meals! I will definitely return with ALL of my family next year! This place is AMAZING! Thank you Mike and Laycie for sharing your "Special" place with us!"

"My family and I stayed at a house in Oahu. It was spectacular!!! Very clean, welcoming, and so relaxing. My husband and I will never stay in a hotel again. Staying in a house versus a hotel was a much better experience. Love Love Love!!!"

"We loved every minute of this delightful retreat. Very quiet but close to restaurants and a pristine beach just steps away. It was immaculate and SuSu is the perfect hostess, knowledgeable and accommodating. A special treat was a welcome basket with Hawaiian fruits and there was coffee and tea in the unit, and that was very nice. The beautiful private yard was a real bonus too. We would stay there again definitely. Thank you SuSu."

"My family of six stayed for an amazing, fun-packed, eight days on Oahu to celebrate our 25th anniversary. An agreed upon highlight of the trip was this wonderful home in Lanikai and the friendly, laid back environment of eastern side of the island. We did a ton of research on renting vs hotel, and were pleased that the listing and pictures were very accurate. Brian was very informative, responsive and accommodating during our last-minute decision process. The house is quite large with a generous patio and ample space for my wife and I, my 3 teenagers and my 10 year old who lived in the pool when we were not site seeing. There are 3 full baths (one connected to the master suite), two with showers and one jetted tub--style and decor were a little dated but totally adequate. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds and have ACs which was nice with the humidity and when the trade winds were calm. The updated kitchen is good sized and well stocked and it and the living room have large fans which were adequate for cooling. This home is located on a very quiet street just 2 1/2 blocks from the most beautiful beach I have ever seen and two houses down from the pill box hike (highly recommended-bring you camera). We talked with several people on the beach who said "they live here now"--wouldn't that be great! The location was convenient to the whole island and having a large private pool was a huge win for our trip and well worth a little extra rent as we used it several times a day. We stayed in a top-rated Waikiki hotel the last two days of our trip, and we all longed to be back to the peace and quiet of Lanikai. The home comes with 6 boogie boards, rolling coolers, beach umbrellas, towels and chairs and enough snorkeling equipment for our needs, which were all so very convenient to not have to rent or buy. There is also a book on site with recommended sites and activities, which were helpful.
Only small con:The house next door in view to the ocean from the upstairs deck was unoccupied and run-down, but looked like it might be remodeled soon.
Overall this is was a great choice and the best location, we loved our stay in this great family home and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about a trip to Oahu."
