"We loved the location, the layout, and the cleanliness and facilities. Large bedroom with sitting area, nice kitchen and bathroom. Washer and dryer came in handy. Lisa was a great host, we made a last minute reservation. Easy access to the beach and downtown Kialua. On the windward side of Oahu, so a nice break from the busier Honolulu side of the island. Beautiful Kialua beach just our speed with less glitz (read no glitz) than Waikiki. We had a rental car, easy parking right in front of the rental property. We live in the country, so were not used to listening to traffic on street."

"This is an incredible location right on the beach, with views of turquoise ocean waters and endless sound of the waves from inside the house. The beach couldn’t be closer, just beyond the private grassy backyard. It’s a great beach for walking, catching the sunrise and swimming. The ocean is mild here and comfortable. So relaxing!
The house is spacious, well appointed and easy to live in. The owner, Steve, provides all the comforts of home including a fully outfitted kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, ample beach towels, soaps and sunscreen, beach chairs, boogie boards, daily newspaper, wi-fi, etc.
The town of Kailua is only 5 minutes away and provides many reasonably priced restaurants and shopping opportunities. Our family also enjoyed the local yoga studios, kayaking and water sports instruction based at Kailua Beach Park. Highly recommended!"

"We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 12. This house was perfect with plenty of room for all of us. The house is open air, except for the 4 bedrooms which do have air conditioning. Two of the bedrooms have on-suite bathrooms, a third has a shower only and the rest of the bathroom is in the hall. Worked out fine for us! The house actually can sleep 10, with 2 twin beds upstairs in the open air loft. But I would only recommend that for independent older children who can go up and down the ladder. The kitchen is beautiful and very well appointed with everything you need. We cooked breakfast everyday and dinner several times. The best thing about this house is the gorgeous beach! Nice and sandy, no rocks. We enjoyed using the kayak and boogie boards. The pool is very nice as well. If you are planning in sitting in the house all day, you should know you can't really see the beach from the living room. But you should grab some of the towels or beach chairs provided and go sit on the beach instead! We loved the residential feel of Kailua (as opposed to the craziness of Waikiki). There are lots of really nice restaurants within a quick drive of the house. We especially enjoyed Crepes No Ka 'Oi and take out from Uahi Island Grill. If you want to snorkel, Hanauma Bay is only about 30 minutes and a beautiful scenic drive. I would highly recommend this house for your group!"

"Overall a nice place to stay, but not close to The beach, have to have a Car. The owner is very friendly and helpful, living right next door actually the Rental is part of their house. Only drawback is the tight parking and pulling out of the parking. The futons have typical FIRM bedding.Quiet neighborhood except for the next door dog.A nice option to stay out of the city bustle.Checkout by 10 am seemed alittle early.Well supplied and clean. Does have ac which came in handy when The trades didn't blow."
