"From the moment you enter Ginger Hale from your own private driveway you know you've stumbled onto something amazing. Presenting like your own private villa, Susy's place feels like a home away from home.
It's incredibly clean, light filled, airy, and you can even see the ocean from the window! It has everything you could need for a short or longer term stay. The kitchen is well equipped, fridge and dishwasher, as well as complimentary coffee and fruit! The bathroom is spacious, clean and there's a modern washer and dryer.
You have one of the world's most incredible beaches at your doorstep, literally a few paces down the road. Susy even supplies body boards, umbrella's, chairs, toys for kids, virtually all beach accessories needed for an incredible time at an amazing beach. Morning and evening strolls along Kailua beach are wonderfully memorable.
Kailua is a special place in Oahu, the nearby town has everything you need from restaurants, supermarkets, shops and attractions. Rent a bike and cruise along the beach roads! There's plenty of things to do in and around Kailua, also you're also a short distance from many hikes and trails if you're so inclined.
I can't speak highly enough of Ginger Hale, it's incredible, and Susy is a gracious host that attends to any needs you may have. Thanks Susy! and i will be returning!"

"My husband and I came from Vancouver, Canada. The place is gorgeous! The view is very beautiful and relaxing. We had our dinners cooked on BBQ on the deck overlooking the water. What else you can dream of? The suit has absolutely everything you need: dryer, straightener, soups, lotions, full kitchen with pots and cooking utensils. Rhonda, the owner, is a very nice and helpful person. She offered us to use her Kayak (there is one single and one double) and we went around the pond enjoying the mountain views. Kailua in general is the best place to stay in Oahu. It feels like you are in a luxury village. There is a Wholefoods 2 minutes drive from the place where you can either buy food to cook yourself or buy already cooked meals. The selection is great as usual for any Wholefoods. lots of organic choices. The near by beach (Kailua Beach Park) is great for any swimmers. It is very big and long. If you like kiteboarding then this is a beach you want to go."

"Very clean well kept cottage. Lots of windows with plenty of air movement...rarely used the air conditioner. Relatively quiet area not really close to the beach. It is probably a 20-25 minute walk which can be a bit much carrying all your beach attire. Really nice owner and Rosie the dog will greet you as you come and go. Car definitely needed to get around. Would stay again for sure."

"We had a great stay here for 9 days and Susanne could not have been a better hostess! We snorkeled, swam in the ocean, hiked, ate great food and lounged by the pool. The hot tub was a great option too. The cats were so cute and visited us every day. We slept like the dead in the comfortable bedroom too. It was like a second honeymoon, quiet and yet close to all the action. Highly recommend this place. Still beaming about it although we've been back in Colorado for a few days. Thanks Susanne, you rock!!!"
