"My 2 young teenage girls and I stayed at this wonderful, warm and cozy cottage. Both Nancy and Rick were so very nice and welcoming. Everything you can think of was available. Room was clean, bright and my girls really enjoyed the built-in ceiling sound system. Beach was close to walk to. Places to eat were real close that you can either walk or drive to. Just absolutely loved it! We didn't want to leave. If we ever go back to Kailua, we'd definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it. I'd give it more than 5 stars!
We miss it there already!"

"Thank you Lori of Lanikai. It was a dream vacation. We were nervous at first being it was our first time booking with VRBO, but once we arrived it was genuinely chill. The rooms were nicely decorated and there was plenty of space not to mention very clean. The location was very convenient and amazing. Imagine a paradise in a very private and exclusive neighborhood located 5 minute walking distance to our own private local beach of Lanikai! What a truly magnificent place, we will definitely be back in the future! It felt very welcoming like we belonged there, almost like we were at home and not on vacation!
Thank you Lori and family of Lanikai for sharing your home with us!

"Rena's home was an amazing place to stay! The beach was only a block away, easily accessed by a quiet path. I traveled with my whole family and they loved the big waves at the beach and the soft sandy beach. When not at the beach, we loved Rena's large home. The home had plenty of fans to keep it cool. It also had huge decks and an amazing whirlpool tub in the master bathroom. Rena was readily available to help with anything we needed. She has a great personality and a willingness to help."

"My wife and I couldn't have chosen a better place for us and our three kids, her parents, sister plus two sons, and my parents--five kids ages almost two to ten and seven adults--twelve of us total. We all went to Hawaii for my Japanese father-in-law's retirement celebration and decided to fly my parents out from California to get in some Nana and Grandpa time with their Japan-dwelling grandkids as a bonus. The place was easy to find and service was friendly as can be right from the get go. When I first looked at it online I thought a down side was no outside space for the kids to play in but boy was I wrong. The huge patio with a lockable door allowed us to relax and let my little one run around to her heart's content without fear of her running off. Everyone loved their rooms as well, especially my parents who took the upstairs room, from which views of the sun rising over the sea are absolutely stunning. My wife especially loved how convenient it was to find everything in the spacious kitchen and I was so glad to have a shower right inside the back gate and hose with spray nozzle on the front patio to wash off sandy little boys. There's even body wash near each so we could wash the kids off right there, after which time they usually opted to hop in the jacuzzi, which we all enjoyed as well. And talk about awesome beach access! I'll take this beach over a crowded Waikiki one any day of the week. We boogie boarded, swam and flew kites out there and I loved having the optimal morning meditation location a mere minute away. We also got in some good snorkeling at nearby Lanikai beach. (I looked up Lanikai after returning home, it means "heavenly sea" and boy is it ever!). Of if you want to get in some hiking the place is only ten minutes drive from some great trailheads, such as the Olomana Trail that I took my sons on. There's Wifi, a big TV, games and children's & adult books and boogie boards and and and... Plenty of space and anything we wanted was there at our disposal to use. Last but not least is the friendly service. Any small problem or question we had was taken care of lickity split! I'd recommend Pikake Hale in a heartbeat, just don't reserve it during the dates I plan on going back and staying there again with my family and parents along with my older brothers and their families."
