"This property is amazing. A beautiful ocean view as far as you can see and a fabulous front yard with a pool and hot tub to wake up to each morning. The huge gazebo is perfect for eating and lounging about with a cocktail or two. The yard is lit up with pretty lights at night. It really is a great place to relax and enjoy! The home itself is very large with plenty of room and also very lovely. We had 5 adults and 2 children in our group. The kitchen has lots of room and there really is everything you need.
The owner was away when we were there, but her sister and mother were there to help us. They were very helpful and very nice ladies. We were sorry that we missed meeting Candis.
The town of Kailua is Avery short drive away, about 7minutes or so. They have several good stores to purchase your groceries etc. Lanakai Beach and Kailua Beach are both excellent beaches for families with young children. We had an amazing time staying here and would like to thank Candis for the use of her home. It really is a breathtaking view when you walk onto her property."

"We rented this house in Late July to early August 2014. We have two teenage boys, ages 20 and 16. We loved this house. We had space to spread out, outdoor shower which we all loved, kitchen area to make most of our meals and a great deck to sit and relax. The beach is a short walk away (1 minute or so) and had nice waves and a good stretch of beach. I walked the full length of the beach to Lanakai several times (about 2.5 miles each way). Overall, great stay. House was funky, old and had charm to it. This isn't a brand new condo unit which we didn't want anyway. But it worked for all of us perfectly. Also, we were met by Molly who manages property and she checked in with us a couple of times during the week. I'd recommend this for a family with either 2 teens or a family with 3 small children. Beach had pretty good surf coming in (2-3 feet) so possibly this isn't a beach for toddlers but it has to do with time of year you are visiting. BBQ was nice so we could cook dinners. Last you should have a car so you can go into town to get groceries, go out to dinner etc. It isn't walking distance to Kailua. But overall, we were really happy with it."

"The house accommodated our party of 15 with ease. Plenty of room for everyone even though we mostly congregated around the table outside by the pool. Kitchen was nice and large where 3 or 4 people could prep/cook at the same time. Laundry room has new and large washer and dryer. The TV or Family room was large and had a 70 or so inch TV. I was able to catch a Golden State Warriors basketball game one night. Each bedroom had it's own A/C unit and and ceiling fan which was great to help you cool off at night. The pool was sparkling and clean - the pool guy came by a couple times to make sure the PH balance was correct.
Location was great - about a block away from Kailua beach. The beach is perfect for young children. Small shore break so they could play in the water without the parents worrying about a serious undertow. There's a great farmers market in town where you can try some local eats. Downtown is only a couple miles away so it was real quick to run and grab groceries, Lanikai smoothies, starbucks etc... If you like Korean food you must try Willow Tree. Some of the best Korean food I've ever had and they are generous with their portions.
Can't say enough good things about the house, location, island etc.. - highly recommended."

"Very close to attractions that we wanted to see Clean and comfortable plus beautiful scenery. I even enjoyed the dogs they have and the turtle. I would recommend this place to any one with children. Thank you very much for allowing us the pleasure of staying there."
