"we enjoyed our stay at the cottage very much. We liked coming back after a busy day to the relaxing feel of the cottage. The owners made us feel comfortable and safe. The cottage had everything we needed and was decorated so nice. Rose and Koa had fruit and fresh flowers waiting when we arrived. Loved listening to the ocean at night and waking to the birds in the morning. Went to the beach, walked up to the lighthouse and visited Pearl Harbor while there, a great location."

"Property is exactly as described and pictured. Had a great week off before heading to Sydney for work. Rent a car and this place is an excellent launch pad for daily excursions or an excellent r&r spot on the beach. The beach is beautiful and peaceful and just enough foot traffic to keep it interesting while passing time away, but yet it still feel like its all yours! While facing the ocean there is an amazing somewhat secretive snorkel area to your right just past the rocks...you could walk down the beach, kayak, or drive and park. If you drive past the Shriners you've gone to far. You can also go to Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, not so secret, which is a 5 minute drive down the road too...well worth it for snorkeling.
Shimas is just down the road for all your grocery needs.
You can go to Honolulu 2 very different ways (through the mountain or around the island perimeter) and they both yield excitement and several exploration activities. Plus you can go to Kailua in 5 minutes if you need Target for additional supplies for whatever reason.
Beautiful, clean property; safe, secluded, incredible, and quiet beach; great comfortable launch pad from which to explore Oahu."

"Fantastic Oahu location away from the traffic and crowds of Waikiki. Very clean and comfortable home. Not surprising Waimanalo was Dr. Beach's #1 pick this year. The morning and evening views of Rabbit Island were great. We planned on hiking the Makapu’u Point Lighthouse Trail and spending a day at Hanauma Bay, so this
home was a perfect fit. Squeezed in lunch at Duke's Waikiki and Valley of the Temples Memorial Park visit during our 3 day stay. Sea Turtles playing at beach edge of the swing was a wonderful bonus. Airport access via the H-1 & H-3 was fast. Thanks Laycie!"
