"We were a group of 2 families with 7 kids aged 8-14. There was plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of space for lounging around or cooking a fun breakfast. The views were amazing, bit windy at this time of year, but the pool and jacuzzi were well used. David couldn't do enough for us and we felt very welcome and at home. The only half star I would take off (as otherwise 4.5) was for the age of some of the bedroom/bathrooms, but for us it was not an issue as location was perfect for walking to the beach where the local turtles delighted the kids (3 houses away easy access, or straight off the front wall for teenagers) and for walking to dinner at Buzz's steakhouse. For great coffee drive into Kailua to Morning Brew (thanks for the recommendation Dave it was perfect). Also loads of towels and beach gear was there, very helpful for travellers. We would love to go back."

This property more than exceeded our expectations!
"I searched the VRBO website extensively to find the perfect vacation home for my family of 10 (8 adults - ages ranging from 25 - 65 and 2 young adults - ages 18 & 20). Since this was my first time renting on VRBO, I did have some reservations. Looking at the photos I thought I had a good idea about the home but when we arrived I was even more excited to see my family's reaction. Noelani met us and gave us the grand tour and when we pulled up to the house that's tucked behind a private gate, the family didn't seemed too excited. Once we entered the front door, all of our mouths dropped in awe. This house is one of the most spacious and beautifully decorated "retreats". The rear of the retreat is near a golf course but with all of the foliage, we thought we were next to a "jungle". Waking up to the pleasant sounds of different birds was such a relaxing experience. There were days we wanted to stay in and enjoy the retreat but because it was our first time on Oahu, we planned each day out exploring the island and couldn't wait to come back to end the evening relaxing by the pool. While we knew we were next to neighbors, the foliage offered such seclusion that it didn't feel like there were any homes nearby. Noelani provided instructions for our departure and even when she arrived, she patiently waited outside as we loaded our rental cars, telling us to take our time. She wanted to ensure that we were not stressed as we arrive at the airport. A true testament to the relaxed Hawaiian culture. Even a week later, my family is still thanking me for finding the perfect vacation home. The only minor negative is that the Wi-fi wasn't strong enough to get connection throughout the massive home. I guess this isn't really a negative but gives potential renters a better sense of the size of the home. I hope this home is available when we go back in a few years...maybe as a couple's retreat. Mahalo Leilani and Noelani for making our vacation something we won't ever forget!"

"The Hale Lilikoi Bed and Breakfast in Kailua town is very comfortable and clean. A 5 Stars gorgeous cottage! A perfect location to Kailua Beach and Rentals. Kailua town is easy to drive to dine and shopping. We have enjoyed staying at Hale Lilikoi. We love Laurel and Maile, they were Excellent Host!, Very Friendly, Very Accommodating, and Helpful! It was very hard to say goodbye! We truly enjoyed Kauai's Secret Paradise!!!"

"This was a great place to stay. Margaret & Richard were so nice, they had the place stocked with coffee, fruit and treats for us on our arrival, and were quick to give recommendations when we asked. We felt like we had our own little home on Oahu! The views there are spectacular, the place was spacious, comfy and clean, and the air conditioning, which we don't usually use when we visit, was great since there was a bit of a heat wave with high humidity during our stay. The location is good, just far enough from the busy city and all its traffic, but still close. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone headed to Oahu!"
