  • Wonderful Home Close to the Beach

"The Kailua Beach house was the perfect escape from our busy lives. We stayed here for a week long holiday and our party included 5 people aged 3 to 63. The home was perfect as it allowed the kids and adults their own spacious bedrooms, large living area and amazing lanai along with a completely fenced, safe yard for the kids to run free. The home has air conditioning in the bedrooms, but not the main living areas. The house did get a bit warm in the non- AC areas but you could easily sit outside on the large lanai for a nice breeze that was perfectly comfortable. There was a supply of large beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys and umbrellas for the beach. It is an easy walk to the beach, which was beautiful and never crowded. Just be aware that the house is located on a busy street and therefore there is road noise, but it never kept us awake at night. The fully fenced yard with locking gates provides for excellent privacy and safety for the kids. We had a fantastic trip and would return to this house. Kailua is a wonderful town that allows you to experience real Hawaii rather than tourist filled Waikiki."

  • Sweet Hideaway

"This property was everything it was described to be. It was cozy, clean, private, and the owners were very welcoming, providing us with coffee, fruit, croissants and treats upon arrival. The location was very convenient, a 5-10 minute walk to a beautiful beach, and a short drive to downtown eateries. It truly was a sweet hideaway, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends."

  • Truly A Great Hawaiian Home Away

"Hale Ola Ohana is truly a gem. They say location is everything and this rental has it in spades. It's just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The mountains behind the beach are spectacular. Hanauma Bay is fifteen minutes away, Honolulu, thirty at most. The grounds are gorgeous with lush plantings and the soothing sounds of water falling into the tropical fish pond. The apartment is set up with all the amenities you need for a peaceful and restful stay. It's clean and decorated with love and care. The king-sized bed and linens alone are worth the price of admission! There's snorkeling gear and kayaks too. Our hosts, Tamy and Rick, were gracious and helpful. A heartfelt Mahalo goes out to them for making our first vacation to Hawaii unforgettable! Before we ever got on the plane to come home we were plotting, "How can we come back?" Robert and Priss Adams Mauldin, SC PS. Koa and George were the icing on the cake. We loved them."

  • Amazing holiday in this house

"The house is more wonderful than its picture. We don't want to go anywhere else when we arrived. We can walk to the beach and there are so many beautiful corals and fishes not far from the beach. We only go out once to Lanikai town for lunch. We cooked everyday and there is everything you need in the kitchen. My daughter found many toys and books for kids. If we would come next time, we will absolutely choose this house again."
