"What's not to love; perfect space with everything you need and plenty of room; perfect location-beautiful beach and park right across the street; perfect hosts- they check in with you to make sure everything is as it should be and make themselves available if you need something. A very big THANK YOU to Dave and Susan- we loved our time in your slice of paradise!"Guest: cindy t. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 26, 2014View listing
"The rental was as pictured. Barbara was very nice and answered all our questions about the area. It is just a short walk to the beach with some snorkel gear and boogie boards provided. This side of the island is very green and tropical feeling. It is quiet and laid back, not like Honolulu. If you are looking for a family friendly, quiet location, close to the beautiful Kailua beach this is it! It was nice to have a large section of white sand beach to yourself without someone right next to you. We would come again and stay on the winward side of the island for sure. We saved $ by eating breakfast in the unit and packed our lunch. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer so we didn't have to pack as much clothes for 8 days. Thank you Barbara for your hospitality!"Guest: George Family Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 14, 2014View listing
"This efficiency unit is right on the beach with a lanai that has a gorgeous view of the ocean. The owners provide charcoal grills and several beach items. The unit is very clean, well-maintained and has quality throughout (granite kitchen/bathroom countertops, nice tile flooring throughout with well-placed throw-rugs and very nicely decorated). We've stayed in other, less expensive, units in Kailua that are not beachfront and also poorly maintained compared to this place. We've been coming to Kailua for 20+ years and this is the best place we've stayed. We will definitely stay here again!"Guest: Leslie Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 1, 2014View listing
