"This property is amazing. A beautiful ocean view as far as you can see and a fabulous front yard with a pool and hot tub to wake up to each morning. The huge gazebo is perfect for eating and lounging about with a cocktail or two. The yard is lit up with pretty lights at night. It really is a great place to relax and enjoy! The home itself is very large with plenty of room and also very lovely. We had 5 adults and 2 children in our group. The kitchen has lots of room and there really is everything you need.
The owner was away when we were there, but her sister and mother were there to help us. They were very helpful and very nice ladies. We were sorry that we missed meeting Candis.
The town of Kailua is Avery short drive away, about 7minutes or so. They have several good stores to purchase your groceries etc. Lanakai Beach and Kailua Beach are both excellent beaches for families with young children. We had an amazing time staying here and would like to thank Candis for the use of her home. It really is a breathtaking view when you walk onto her property."

"Our group of 5 ranged in age from 18-72. The house is set up so that the bedrooms are separated by an enormous living room. The beds were comfy, the linens high-quality. The house was built in the 40's and maintains the character of that era. The home is very tastefully decorated and all kitchen supplies are great (not cheap stuff). There is a full freezer (but bring ice as the ice maker can't keep up) and full fridge. The home comes with bogie boards (we all tried this fun sport-great for all ages), surf boards, beach umbrellas and chairs, tons of beach towels, a cooler, and some lawn games. The garage fits 2 cars.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom and the dining room is giant-great for sit-down meals. There are 2 grills, 2 outdoor showers, a hot tub, and beautiful pool. We dipped in that after the beach every evening.
We had some issues with a toilet, and Uta was right there to fix it. She is AMAZING! We arrived to a gift basket of goodies, as well as a call insuring she'd be available to help us with anything. Anytime I contacted her, she was quick with a friendly response (I couldn't find the washing machine which was outside by the pool).
Each morning we were greeted by a chicken family while we had coffee on the porch. We then walked across the soft lawn and 15 feet down the path to the powdery sand. The beach was a bit crowded, but that's what you get at one of the top beaches n the world. No snorkeling here, but Lanikai is a 5 minute drive and PERFECT. Kailua is great for swimming, boarding, sunning, people-watching, etc.
We hit Costco on the way in order to stock up, but there are grocery stores near by. There are also snorkel gear rental places.
I'd go back in a heartbeat."

Affordable relaxation next to the best beach on Oahu!
"This suite was an incredible home base and just steps away from the (in my opinion) best beach on Oahu, Waimanalo Beach. The water doesn't get any bluer and you won't find the crowds that you get on Waikiki, Kailua or Lanikai. There are beach toys and supplies for you, so just bring yourselves! The room itself is small, but they made a great use of space. The lanai and shared
den add to the living space and we didn't feel cramped. There is a small closet and drawers under the bed for storage. No a/c, but there is a ceiling fan and another fan (it was extremely hot and humid when we were there and the trade-winds were no where to be found, so the fans made sleeping comfortable and cool). It was nice to stay in an actual neighborhood and not in a high-rise hotel. We would definitely stay there again!"
