  • Wonder slice of paradise!

"This is a very nice vacation rental in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed 10 nights and were very sorry to leave. Nights were plenty cool for comfortable sleeping. Carol was very kind and provided great suggestions about what to do and where to eat. We were happy to find some boogie boards and other beach toys were available for us to use as well, which was a nice bonus. Oahu travel books were also available for use which we found very useful as they were more detailed than the books we had purchased. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in the quiet town of Kailua, look no further. Just don't beat me to the same booking dates in the future."

  • great rental in a quiet location

"We were visiting friends who had moved to Kailua and this was a great base for us. There were 4 of us - 2 parents and 2 kids. We used the beach chairs for an evening dinner on the beach. I will note that if you must have air conditioning this place is not for you. We were comfortable but there is no AC and in mid summer it can get warm, even with the windows open. Again, we were fine with it as we come from a warm climate, but I know some people might not tolerate it well. There are fans, both ceiling and floor. The owners were friendly and accessible, living next door. My friends who now live in Kailua actually plan to rent this property when they have family come to visit in the future. The location is great, very short walk to the beach and walkable to restaurants as well. It definitely feels like you are living in a small town. If you are a runner you can run from this property to the "Lanikai Loop" for a beautiful sunrise over the ocean and the Mokes."

  • Great Place for a Family in Kailua

"We had three couples staying at this house and had a great time. We each had our own room and the place exceeded our expectations. It had a great pool for relaxing and was close to Kailua beach, which was my favorite in Hawaii and was very quiet. The owners were great and accommodated us with all of our requests and the tenant in the upstairs part of the house was very friendly and kept to himself. We would definitely stay here again next time we travel to Oahu."

  • Perfect location, great cottage

"We loved Kelly & Pat's beautiful, spacious and well-appointed cottage, just a short stroll to one of the top beaches in the world. They thought of everything- lots of beach equipment, plentiful towels, washer/dryer, kitchen, and a super comfortable space with a big screen porch for sleeping, lounging, watching movies or eating. They are perfect hosts- friendly, welcoming and responsive, but also leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. We will definitely be back- what a great experience. (and the price is really reasonable for the amount of space and amenities)."
