"We had a wonderful time - I wished we would have spent more time at the house. We did on the last 2 days of a 10 day vacation. The house was clean - a must for all of us. It was already stocked with bathroom and laundry essentials which made it easy to settle in until we needed more. There house was spacious so we didn't feel like we were bumping into each other. Because the house was right on the waterway it was PERFECT for hanging out beside the pool. We loved the pool and the space to sunbathe and relax. Everything you see in the pictures is how it really looks. Patrick was helpful and all around great. I plan on coming back to this place and do nothing but relax. I would recommend this place to family and friends."Guest: Tinia H. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 10, 2014View listing
"Hi Susanne – sitting here at my laptop in the drippy gloom and thinking that, just yesterday, we were enjoying the warm air and balmy Oahu breezes! We weren’t able to write in your guest book as neither of us had a pen. We were truly on vacation! However, I did want to tell you how very much we enjoyed your lovely Lanikai Love! Both the apartment and the backyard were made for relaxation and enjoyment. Your colorful island art lent so much to setting the mood for fun. We really enjoyed Kailua, as well as the lovely beaches in the area. I, who had never snorkeled, became relatively proficient at Electric Beach. We also dove in Hanuama (sp?) and near the pier at the research station. Can’t wait to go back for diving and when we do we’ll be back at your place. It’s beauty, peace, and quiet are perfect for a wonderful vaca! Many, many thanks for providing this lovely oasis!"Guest: Mary T. "Well stocked house in a great location. Steps to the beach on a private road. Plenty of beach gear and towels. Well stocked kitchen. Only downside is the construction on the lot behind the house but it looks to be done soon. House can get stuffy but there are plenty of fans and AC in 2 bedrooms. Nice layout with separate in-law's suite. Great for big families!"Guest: Kelly R. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 11, 2014View listing
"This was the perfect vacation rental for our family. The house was the perfect size for our family of 6 -ages 20 - 55. There was lots of room for all of us, the living room and the lanai were great places for all of us to gather and spend time together. The kitchen was very spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The location of this home couldn't be any better. You are a short walk from the beach, about 3 minutes down a lane right across the street from the house. The location of the home in Kailua is in a nice neighborhood, and just a short drive (about 5 mins) into Kailua town where you can pick up groceries or do a little shopping at some of the great locally owned stores. If you don't feel like cooking, there are many great restaurants to choose from in Kailua. If you want to drive into Honolulu, you can hop on the H3 freeway and be on the Leeward side of the island in about 20 - 30 minutes! As I said, this really was the perfect rental for us; a beautiful home, fully stocked with everything we needed, spacious and in a great location. And, the property manager, Uta, was very attentive and responded immediately to all of our questions. I highly recommend this rental home to those looking for a place to stay in Kailua."Guest: Sharon H. Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 14, 2015View listing
