  • 15miles south of Kailua Beach

"Enjoyed our stay near the beach. Probably couldn't have got much closer to Kailua Beach Park. We enjoyed Kite surfing in light winds and had the best time during the hurricane The kitchen was spacious and had all the amenities except for a dishwasher (instead of a wine cooler). The bed was too tall for my Mom so we slept on the hide a beds and my brother took the room. Fitted doubled sheets would have worked better for the hide-a-beds. Oahu is a beautiful island and lots to explore. Kailua beach is beautiful but not enough wind for us kiters but enough to keep things cool. Nothing to really complain about!"

  • Great Place

"This vacation rental is as advertised. My wife and our two daughters stayed along with my parents. The Palm room with the additional attached studio was perfect for my wife and I and our daughters. The owner’s Lori and Bob were very accommodating and helpful. They had just the right balance of being around to assist us but not "overbearing." The house is beautiful and extremely clean. I was worried about the outdoor kitchen but it turned out to be fun and gave everyone a chance to be together. Full cooking/eating supplies are provided. Everything you would ever need for a beach vacation including boogie boards, beach chairs, and a cooler are provided. That includes beach towels. The location is amazing. Lanikai beach is beautiful and other outstanding beaches are very close. We rented a car and explored EVERY part of the island. This home is so far away from the touristy part of Oahu, but close enough to explore other parts. Lori and Bob are very kind and friendly. Bob even found some bungee cords to help me tie down the surf board to our van! I highly recommend this home."

  • nice property

"We really enjoyed our stay at the guest house. The place is really well stocked with everything you would need. The pool is nice and the area is beautiful. It was a short drive to Honolulu but far enough away that it felt homey, not so touristy. The only complaint i would share is that the walls in each bedroom are open to the livingroom, so if one person is awake, and makes any noise at all everyone can hear them. So lets just say there was no sleeping in. The gecko's that others speak of were minimal. And only one in the house that i saw. A lady came over exactly at 11 on the day we were leaving so if you stay plan to be out of the house by 11. Fortunately, we were in the car pulling out of the driveway."

  • Week

"We had a wonderful week at Pikake Hale house. We brought our whole family, 10 adults and one 18 month old child and we never felt crowded. The house is big and beautiful with a large atrium that's filled with lush plants and fountain. Everyday we took our morning coffee to watch the beautiful sunrise. The beach is very close, about a 2 min walk down a sandy path. You can hear the calming waves at night in your bed. Activities are endless, hiking, swimming and buggie boarding, etc, ect. Can't wait to return next year!"
