"Aloha Dayle my family and I want to thank you so much for making our dream come true. We love Hawaii and your home had everything we could imagine, it was fully stocked with beach towels hair dryers soap everything, and above all we loved taking long walks on the beach. We loved the area so so much. Thank you for telling us where the private beaches and hiking trails were. We had a wonderful time and hopefully next year when we come back to the Islands we will stay at your home.

"We came to Hawaii very last minute and Olga was so accommodating and helped us get everything set up. The place was clean, close to a fantastic surfing beach, and had water pressure and hot water that I envied. I would recommend this location for anyone wanting to stay on the North Shore."

"Our family of 7 stayed very comfortably in this beautifully furnished and comfortable home. From the moment you walk in the door, you will be impressed. It is clean, tidy, and attractively furnished. Everything you might need to cook is available and we were surprised at how generous previous guests had been by leaving their extra and unused spices, salad dressings as well as sunscreen, aloe vera gel, etc. Each room is equipped with working fans which were very much welcomed on the first day and then no longer absolutely necessary because the windows were opened to allow the constant ocean breezes to flow throughout the home. There were plenty of beach and bath towels and a brand new washer if needed. The upstairs is huge and the view from the bedroom is incredible! We loved hearing the waves at night. I can't say enough about the view from the porch! We spent a lot of time out there talking, eating, laughing, and enjoying the majestic ocean waves. The location of this home is ideal- close to Foodland, Ted's bakery (the best coffee on the island-truly), Shark's cove (snorkel) is within walking distance, eateries are near Foodland, and downtown Haleiwa isn't far. Sometimes the waves very strong directly outside the house but if we walked a little bit down the beach, it wasn't as rough. There is a lifeguard station very very close, too. The beach was NEVER crowded and we felt it was our own :) If there is anything ever needed, a quick text will answer your question as Tricia is very kind and responsive. All in all, this was a magical vacation- one that will forever live in our memories."

"We loved staying at Michael and Sarah's castle so much for the month of July, 2014, that we decided to revisit with some friends and relatives for the month of March, 2015. Well, I am happy to report that nothing about the comforts and hospitality have changed. What has changed is that Michael and Sarah continue to work daily from sun-up to sun-down, and sometimes into the night, grooming their piece of Shangri-La. The landscaping just blossoms with beautiful tropical vegetation and fruit bearing trees. I won't go into much of what we did because I believe I said it all in my July write-up. Incidentally, our son, daughter-in-law and five grandchildren continue to rave about their month-stay in paradise in July, 2014. We did however, discover a few more places and eateries this time in and around Pupukea, such as the Red Truck for French Toast, the Impossible Pizza for a pizza that overflows the large box, and the other food trucks that flourish on the North Shore. We spent more time coming the beaches for pieces of sea glass that washed in and spoke with a couple of surf fisherman for some interesting discussions. Visits to the beach near Haleiwa where several turtles reside and are protected, was a treat for those who visited. This trip we also took the time to visit Pu'u Mahuka Heiau "Hill of Escape" State Monument off Pupukea Homestead Road and the Kukaniloko Royal Birthing Stones, a sacred site located in the middle of a sugar cane field near Wahiawa. We also found Leonard's Bakery (home of Malasadas) on Kapahulu Ave., Honolulu, for the best Portuguese Malasadas you'll ever eat. Just being able to relax in a beautiful home located in a near-perfect tropical setting with the perfect hosts is all you need to know about this property to want to return again and again and again. Mahalo nui loa Michael and Sarah for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise with us and for being the perfect hosts and landlords. We will be back. David, Ceil, Jean, Shirley, Robert & Becky and all our visitors."
