"Really enjoyed the home. Two nice beds and full kitchen. Nice entertainment center to relax by in evening. Ideally located - 3 min walk to ocean and 7 mins to Sharks Cove. Shops also a short walk away. No a/c (preferred) but most nights cool enough with trade winds. Owner provides snorkel eqipment boogie boards and beach chairs."

"Very comfortable house, great lanai, with a lot of great gear to borrow (snorkelling, boards, bikes, inflatables for the kiddie pool). Secure gate for entry was a great bonus. This house is oceanfront, but there's not really a good swimming beach nearby - best option is 3 tables beach about a 7 minute walk, or 5 minute drive to Waimea Bay (beautiful). Sunset beach is a 15 minute bike ride up the road. The house is right on the marine conservation area though, so amazing snorkelling/diving right out the front across the rocks. Nearby Foodland is only a walk away and there are food vans very close too if you don't want to cook. When we were there, the house had dishwasher tablets, a few cooking essentials, toilet paper, which was great. We left provisions that we didn't use for the next guests, so I'm thinking it would be pot luck what you get. A lovely family-feeling holiday house. Note that the studio downstairs is accessible via the outside (no internal access), which suited us fine."

"We came to Hawaii very last minute and Olga was so accommodating and helped us get everything set up. The place was clean, close to a fantastic surfing beach, and had water pressure and hot water that I envied. I would recommend this location for anyone wanting to stay on the North Shore."

"From the second you pull open the gates, you know this place is amazing! So private and inviting. We were in want of nothing, the home was clean and organized. Our four young children declared that they had found paradise... and then we walked back out to the deck and WOW! It doesn't get any better than this, from the lovely picnic table and hammocks to falling out your back door on a beautiful beach to play on and ocean to swim in. We all loved jumping down the sandy cliff and riding the waves up and down the hill. We collected all kinds of amazing shell treasures right in the shore break.
The outdoor shower is brilliant, we never once showered inside and our kids were totally spoiled and whined about cleaning up at other beach parks in the cold showers :).
We enjoyed the bikes (and rented some for the kids too), the bike path along this stretch is awesome and a great way to get around when traffic is heavy - you can get to Ted's Bakery faster ;). The location for our young family couldn't have been better, especially with Sunset Elementary just across the street, our favorite time to play was just after sunset in the warm afterglow when it wasn't too hot.
We enjoyed using the provided SUP and boogie boards. Seriously, this place had it all including sand toys. The resident neighbors were super friendly and we even enjoyed a peek at the litter of kittens on the property. We knew we wanted the ease of being beach front with littles that still nap and need some chill time, but this place was so far beyond our expectations. We've been waiting patiently to share the magic of the North Shore with our children and they fell in love and staying at this home made it even better. I could go on forever about this special place, we are already turning our brains for our next visit! Mahalo for sharing your home with us Diane and family."
