The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Our 9 days at this property was like family paradise on earth time. The location was so fantastic that it was hard to get everyone to leave to do the "tourist" things Oahu is noted for. The Polynesian Cultural Center and Dole Plantation were very close being on the North Shore as was Matsumoto Shaved Ice which we stopped at several times. Also the fish trucks! The beach was the best I'd ever been to. Everyone got into snorkeling and loved the sea turtles. My bedroom looked onto the ocean and I will forever cherish that gorgeous view! Beds were comfy . Kitchen and living room space was spacious and had everything we needed. We had called about a missing screen in one of the bathrooms which was the only area with some bugs and was disappointed that Hawaii Beach Homes told us a maintenance person would come that day or the next BUT they never came. However that did not change everyone's opinion that Grandma gets five stars plus for her choice of our Hawaiian vacation home! I would highly recommend it for any family especially for a group consisting of several families within the group to accommodate everyone's needs. The ping pong table was the object of some fun and serious competition all week. It was a great non beach activity. When we went to the Arizonia Memorial we had a long wait so decided to take the Missouri Battleship tour. I would highly recommend that regardless. It was so informational and all ages in our group 8 yrs old thru Grandma were so happy we had done it. We snorkeled at Devil's Cove to see the pretty fish instead of the tourist snorkeling places which was just down the road from our house and that was perfect to get the experience and not go far.. The day we checked out we went into Honolulu to eat and got a feel of the big city and for all of us to agree we were glad we were on the North Shore for our stay and not in the busy city."

"I'm a bit of a regular here at Haleiwa Surf condos, having stayed in this condo several times over the last few years. The condo amenities are great...everything you need, and then some, is provided. The location, just steps away from the beach and water, is outstanding. And being on the North Shore in the "country," rather than in the tourist-infested "concrete jungle" of Honolulu and Waikiki, is what sets this apart from a good vacation compared to a great vacation. Haleiwa Town is a short walk away with a great variety of restaurants and quaint little shops. On-site property management is very responsive and available for anything which may arise. Plenty of parking and on-site laundry machines round out this little jewel on the North Shore. I high recommend this condo and the complex."

"Our family stayed at Tutu's House in September as a mini family reunion. This house worked well for all six of us ranging from 21 months old to 63 years old. It was comfortable, a well stocked kitchen and the best views of the North Shore. The house was clean, had plenty of towels, bedding and family entertainment. The only difficulty we ran into is the trade winds weren't blowing and the temperature was in the 90's. The house isn't air conditioned, so was stiffiling. The manager was called and brought fans over that day, which helped a little bit. It turned out to be an unusually hot week and our family was very uncomfortable in the house. Just be aware when you come to Hawaii during the hot months and are intolerant of all day heat, look for a property that has air conditioning. Also the house sits along the busy 2 lane Kamehameha Highway with traffic going by day and night. Two of the three bedrooms face the highway so sleeping is a challenge. Most of the beachfront houses on the North Shore are situated that way. Being so close to the beach makes up for some inconveniences. All in all a nice property in a nice location."

"Beautiful condo and location with views from the lanai just as pictured. I booked the condo for my husband's birthday. He LOVED it. We LOVED it. He loved having breakfast on the lanai watching and listening to the surf. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, a great place for R&R. The condo was very nicely decorated and equipped. A wonderful place to come back to after wondering around the island and visiting friends on the South side of the island. The residents really followed the quiet rule. We had a wonderful time. Kim was easy to work with and we definitely would come back again. Mahalo Kim for sharing your condo!"
