Just what the doctor ordered!
"Super friendly host, full kitchen, nice and quiet, clean and inviting. The front lanai view of the waves was FANTASTIC!
Except for some surprise 7:30 am heavy equipment land clearing next door that was beyond our host's control, it was a lovely stay, and our elderly parents had no trouble with the stairs."

"I'm a bit of a regular here at Haleiwa Surf condos, having stayed in this condo several times over the last few years. The condo amenities are great...everything you need, and then some, is provided. The location, just steps away from the beach and water, is outstanding. And being on the North Shore in the "country," rather than in the tourist-infested "concrete jungle" of Honolulu and Waikiki, is what sets this apart from a good vacation compared to a great vacation. Haleiwa Town is a short walk away with a great variety of restaurants and quaint little shops. On-site property management is very responsive and available for anything which may arise. Plenty of parking and on-site laundry machines round out this little jewel on the North Shore. I high recommend this condo and the complex."

Wow! Make the North Shore in this house your destination!
"What a great house! What a great location! It more than deserves the five star ratings it receives from travelers. The house is roomy, welcoming and well equipped, all which makes it feel just like home right away. The wonderful lanai faces the beach and ocean and offers you your choice of sun or shade, to relax and watch the waves or the whales breaching on the horizon or the surfers do their magic. It is very quiet yet very close to lots to do. The house has a very high walk-ability rating - the beach is literally at your doorstep for a swim in sandy bottomed water or a quiet walk, turtles were on the beach a few minutes away as is the park and marina. In a few more minutes you are in Haliewa - a delightful town with lots of shops, restaurants, food trucks galore and local attractions like the weekend church market, chicken BBQ and of course shave ice. Activities too - you can easily walk to rent snorkel equipment (to the left across the small bridge as you reach Haliewa) or kayaks or paddle boards at very moderate rates. Even better, people trying kayaks or paddle boards can try it all on a very calm canal right by the rental shops (turtles abound in the water!). In the car you are less than 20 minutes from famous surfing beaches - Sunset and the Banzai Pipeline - or the Dole Plantation - and not 30 minutes to Turtle Bay for snorkeling even in the surfing season. If you are keen to see Pearl Harbor (which is an amazing and meaningful experience) it is about 40 minutes by car and then just a bit further to Honolulu. The "North Shore" is somewhere to visit and stay, not just spend a day. We were there two weeks and will stay longer next time. This house is the perfect place to stay!"

"We rented the whole house for a family vacation; 10 adults and 1 child. Great 2 story home with lots of space and privacy for everyone. We especially loved the pool and Jacuzzi. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Great upstairs wraparound porch and the upstairs has a wonderful breeze in the living area from the 2 sliders. As a family we spent most of our time upstairs. The beach was across the street and although it was a bit "wavier" than I am comfortable with, it was relaxing and fun to watch the surfers. I would definitely return here. Easy drive from Honolulu and a great escape from the downtown. We visited Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Cultural Center, Dole Pineapple, Waimea Beach, Falls & Botanical Gardens. I recommend visiting Ted's Bakery; great food and desserts. Luann was a great hostess, supplied us with some fresh fruits from her farm; best bananas we've ever had and try the dragon fruit if it's ready. A wonderful treat! She had some really friendly dogs; as dog lovers we enjoyed them visiting. I'd recommend Surfer's Paradise...you'll love it!"
