Oceanfront, whales, turtles ALL GOOD!
"We had a delightful 5 week Jan-Feb stay in the condo. Morning coffee on the lanai, watching the whales spout on the horizon and turtles surfacing directly offshore was wonderful. Very clean and comfy with fast internet and good tv channels. Nicely equipped for preparing and serving meals. Good supply of towels, beach chairs, snorkel equipment and toys. Could use a drying rack for towels and swim suits. The microwave stopped working and very quickly Kim had a replacement. Condo complex is safe and well taken care of. Haleiwa towne is about a mile walk. Being without a car was a little tricky. We took the bus from Honolulu and got off in downtown Haleiwa without knowing where to pick up the bus to the condo. So we walked the mile dragging our suitcases down the bumpy and uneven sidewalk, not fun on a hot day. Sleeping in the bedroom was fine at night as most residents followed the 10PM-8AM quiet rule. The curtains didn't totally block out the hallway lights, but they are good for safety reasons. It was difficult to sleep in the morning as the rooster asylum across the street started up before 1st light. The bedroom faces the parking lot so you could hear coughing, talking, walking, traffic and the ocassional car alarm. We had a great time and plan to return.

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Our stay was very enjoyable until a loud & inconsiderate family moved in upstairs. Hawaii Beach Homes were so wonderful to allow us to move to a vacant rental until the end of our vacation. Thank you for taking such good care of us!"

"Everything was so good and set up well for us. Thank you for thinking of so many extra details. We really appreciate it. We were satisfied a 5 out of 4. 4 because of an ant problem in the kitchen. We cleaned up everyday and they still came! Also, the 2nd bedroom desperately needs an AC unit!! My daughter and her husband were very hot!! Now for the worst problem: the sitting/lounging furniture inside and out is horribly uncomfortable!! When you come home from a long glorious day at the beach there is NOWHERE to get comfortable!! I'm not kidding-the furniture is the MOST awful we have ever sat on!! ALL sitting/lounging furniture gets a 0 (Zero) out of 5!! We would consider renting again for a month every year if you got better furniture. Thank you."

"We rented this beautiful house right on the beach with another family. There were 7 of us. Pictures are just as shown. We loved it from the moment we walked in. Lots of seating inside and out. We spent most of our days outside on the beach, watching the turtles in the water. Loved hearing the crashing of the waves every night. Beds and bedding are very comfortable, overhead fans in all rooms plus floor fans. The views out of the living room are amazing. Quiet neighborhood. Joey was great to work with and her daughter meet us upon arrival and gave us on the "local" information. We did a quad tour at Kualoa ranch, went snorkeling at sharks cove, body surfing at Waimea Beach, we hiked to waimea falls, went snorkeling at laniakea beach where all the turtles come to shore every day, the boys went deep sea fishing....all of this is so close to the house. We really wanted to rent a house away from the rat race of Waikiki, as we have been there and done that...not our thing...we were so happy with our decision. Waikiki is a short drive away if you wish to go there. We felt like a local, people were asking us for directions...everyone is so friendly. The closest town, Haleiwa, is a short drive away...we loved it there, so cute, great places to eat. We headed south to where road ends and hiked to light house...so much to do or nothing at all....just like we liked it. I would highly recommend this house, we will rent it again."
