"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the apartment was clean and well kept. It was a short drive down the hill to the beach and there is hiking nearby. If you're interested in doing your own cooking or purchasing snacks Foodland is just 5-10 minutes away. The apartment has a hotplate, toaster oven, microwave and full-sized refrigerator. Loved it!"

"We rented the whole house for a family vacation; 10 adults and 1 child. Great 2 story home with lots of space and privacy for everyone. We especially loved the pool and Jacuzzi. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Great upstairs wraparound porch and the upstairs has a wonderful breeze in the living area from the 2 sliders. As a family we spent most of our time upstairs. The beach was across the street and although it was a bit "wavier" than I am comfortable with, it was relaxing and fun to watch the surfers. I would definitely return here. Easy drive from Honolulu and a great escape from the downtown. We visited Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Cultural Center, Dole Pineapple, Waimea Beach, Falls & Botanical Gardens. I recommend visiting Ted's Bakery; great food and desserts. Luann was a great hostess, supplied us with some fresh fruits from her farm; best bananas we've ever had and try the dragon fruit if it's ready. A wonderful treat! She had some really friendly dogs; as dog lovers we enjoyed them visiting. I'd recommend Surfer's Paradise...you'll love it!"

"Perfect location! About a 90-second walk to the beach, where sea turtles abound! Town is about a mile or two away, and there are tons of art galleries, shops, and restaurants. Attractions like Waimea Falls are about 20 minutes away, and the island is small enough that pretty much nothing is farther than a 40-minute drive away. The beds (both queen-sized, I believe, despite the property description) were super comfortable, fans kept us cool, and the apartment was just perfect for a relaxing father-daughter vacation. Only downside is that the chickens are a bit loud in the morning, but if chickens are the worst things that happen to you on vacation, I'd say you're doing pretty well! (The free-range chickens all over the island are pretty fun to watch, especially when they have their baby chicks with them!) The owner of the property is incredibly sweet and very committed to her guests enjoying themselves; she provides maps and recommendations for activities in the area and is just overall a fun, friendly lady. The next time we go to Hawaii, we will definitely book this rental again!"

"We love Haleiwa, and coming for such a short visit from Australia we knew we wanted a space that was private, great location and clean & tidy. Ticked all the boxes! I guess the only downside if it bothered you would be the Televisions are older, with little access to channels. But it wasn't an issue for us we weren't there for television! Loved being able to walk to the beach and down the main street. Wendy was a great help! We can't wait to come back!"
