"OMG does not really do justice to the Haleiwa Surf, surrounding property & beach.
We needed a place to play, relax, shop and tour. We found it all here on the North Shore.
Thanks to Susan for her professional, yet, Aloha way of taking care that we were informed and educated about the area.
We have a few more days here and have already decided that we WILL be back and stay in the islands longer than 10 days!
I can't say enough about our experience here. I has been a dream come true and we could not have scripted a better scenario for ourselves.
The unit we are in is more than adequate. Not only was it in near spotless condition, it is homy and comfortable. The owners have a must read book about the area and it proved extremely helpful.
Aloha and Mahalo"

"This beautiful home is just as described, and the pictures are an accurate representation of the house. Such a wonderful, peaceful location; perfect for taking day trips around the island and returning to the house to swim at your own quiet beach. Only twice during our 6 night stay, were there any more than 4 other people on the beach, and one of those days was Memorial Day, when there were 6 other people on the beach. We loved waking up early and watching the sunrise from the beach, when the ocean was fairly quiet. We also loved when the wind would blow in, and kick up the waves a bit in the evening.
My son and husband enjoyed snorkeling and saw a giant sea turtle out in the water, just about 10 yards out. Fantastic! And my daughter and I loved hanging out in the yard or in the house, reading in the breeze when we weren't in a swimming mood. So relaxing! And each one of us was able to vacation in our own way.
Joey Ann and Jo Ann were perfect hosts, very responsive about any small issues, and full of good ideas for things to do. We were able to cover a lot of the things that we felt we wouldn't want to miss, as well as get some shopping done in Haleiwa. We enjoyed fixing meals in the kitchen, on those nights that we just didn't feel like going out to a restaurant for dinner, and it was great to be able to take our time in the mornings by having breakfasts right there in the house.
There was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out, and given that the kids are young adults, the price was comparable to what we would have been paying to stay down on Waikiki with all the tourists, traffic, and noise. Well worth the price.
Highly recommend this property! We'd love to return someday!"

"Aloha Bob & Suz!
My son & I had a wonderful time at the condo. It was perfect, just steps to the beautiful beach. The snorkeling was great. The condo was comfortable and clean, we had everything we needed. The whale watching trip was the icing on the cake...awesome! We couldn't have asked for more! We hope to return!

"The house and location was everything we wanted our Hawaiian vacation to be. A great place to get away from it all and really experience Hawaii. The beach is one of the best beaches I have ever stayed at in Hawaii. Fun surf some days, crystal clear calm water others. the reef off to the right of the house is teeming with tropical fish and turtles. We had a monk seal swim by and then beach itself for hours in the sun one day. Another day 5 turtles came up on shore just a bit down the beach. We saw a whale breaching in the distance and of course those stunning Hawaiian sunsets every night! My Dad had a spoting scope and we had great fun watching boats, catamarans and seado's coming in and out of the near by harbour. The yard is well maintained and is full of little gecko's keeping the bugs at bay! The awning provided great shade over the picnic table and it was great to have a little outdoor shower hose for after swimming. There is a trail to the beach for the public beside the house and we actually found it nice to see the same folks going back and forth each day. The weekends got busy on the beach but again, this was fun seeing local people with their family's having a great time. Everyone was very respectful of our space the entire time we were there. The next door neighbor is very nice as well. The house itself is a great little beach house. Lots of room in the common areas and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. The bedrooms were nice, beds a little on the firm side for my liking. Lots of fans in the house to help with the heat when the trade winds die down. Nice new blinds throughout the house and comfy furniture to lounge on. I think the cleaning (baseboards, window cills, BBQ's etc) could be maintained a little bit better but it is a beach house after all. We had a couple issues with the septic tank in the "outside" bathroom but it was quickly taken care of by Bitsy and a cleaning lady sent within 24 hours. All in all, I would definitely return to this little piece of heaven. Thanks for having us Bitsy and thank you for the quick return of our damage deposit."
