  • What a location!

"This was our first time renting a home through VRBO and I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. The house was clean and quite large, plenty of room for the four of us and probably 3 or 4 more...The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to buy provisions at the local store down the road (Foodland?) and cooked our dinners each night. We even used the grill one night for steaks and seafood. Lovely. And the beach front right as one walks out of the kitchen was AMAZING. We did see a couple of turtles at a distance, nothing up close unfortunately. The protected beach just down the way (within walking distance) was lovely for swimming and nice for snorkeling too. What a great supply of swimming and snorkeling equipment the owners make available...We were all able to snorkel; what a fun time that was. We even had a cat visit us a few times which was nice because we were missing our Mr. Tibbs back home. I agree with a previous reviewer that the master bed is SO comfortable, and I loved listening to the waves all night. The traffic is pretty heavy in the area (I guess this is true in much of Hawaii) so plan accordingly when you want to go visit other parts of the island. We went to Pearl Harbor and then to Hanauma Bay on the south end of the island for snorkeling. What a gorgeous beach, but not really a swimming beach. Take your snorkeling gear including flippers if you're heading there. And yes, the owner is lovely to work with. I only wish we had a longer stay there, we had to leave after 4 days."

  • Beach Front, Sunsets and Turtles Oh My!

"We are all about beach front location. Everything else is secondary. Craig ‘s place delivers big time. It doesn’t get any better! Craig is very laid back and it reflects in his condo. He is all about chill’n and having a good time not aesthetics. If you are looking for fancy décor and granite countertops don’t stay here. If you love the ocean and hanging on the beach this is your place. Craig provides everything you need to enjoy the sand and water, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs etc.. We could not get enough of sitting on the lanai with the binoculars (thanks Craig for providing a pair) looking for turtles, watching surfers and paddle boarders. Lots of places advertise seeing turtles and swimming with turtles, Craig’s place is the only place we stayed where this actually happened, not once, but daily! So, do we recommend this place? YES!! The condo is clean and well stocked. The complex is quiet. The beach is secluded. The location is a perfect launching point for touring the famous surf beaches of the North Shore. Skip the Waimea farmers market. It is touristy, no deals here and very little produce. Do take the time to drive to Honolulu to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet. You can get all your souvenirs at a reasonable price and if you forgot your water shoes for swimming around the reef, you can get them here for $10! If you have a late afternoon flight, stop at Palazzos Italian Restaurant (about 10 minutes from the airport) for an awesome Italian meal to top off your trip to paradise."

  • Wonderful Home

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this beautiful home on the North Shore!! We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying being right on the water. Our kids were constantly swimming in the ocean right in front of the house. It is close to Haleiwa so we ate in Haleiwa every night at several great restaurants. The only negative thing is that from 10-2, it was extremely hot in the house. We wish the owner would have had at least one air conditioning unit in the master bedroom. We stayed there the first week of June 2014. Incredible property!"

  • Our Perfect Hawaiian Hideaway

"We have stayed two separate times at Endless Summer & love it! The view has to be the best on the north shore! Turtles swim right out front & the waves crash all night. Our son & family live in Honolulu & so when we go visit we grab them & head to Haleiwa! Truly a special spot. The house itself is a bit rustic & the one bath is challenging, but well worth the sacrifice to avoid some chrome high rise hotel in Waikiki."
