What a way to spend a staycation!
"Mahalo Nui Larry for sharing your home with us.
I write this review on our las night at Moana Lanui. Perfect perfect for anyone that needs a break! Aunty Ellen greeted us on our first day! Mahalo Aunty! Made us feel like we were friends of the family. We spent 5 days and 4 nights. Came here with my husband and 4 kids. We all had a great relaxing time.
Again Larry we cannot thank you enough for opening your home to us and making the start of our kid's Spring Break something to remember!"

"We had a wonderful time staying at Wahi Pana for 10 days! There were 4 of us, 2 couples. and there was an ample amount of room. Washer and dryer were nice to have available. We used them almost daily to wash towels used at the beach. The home provides plenty of towels for bathing and beach. There was also boogie boards, snorkel gear, and beach toys for us to use. Cable was available at the home, it was nice at the end of long days to relax and watch TV. We rarely used the downstairs area. The home was located in an ideal location; the neighborhood and community were quiet. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, but it was close enough to drive there when we wanted. We just grouped our activities for that side of the island into a day or two. There are great beaches, activities, and food trucks around the house also. We never wished we were closer to anything; it was very central to all of these things. We would love to come back every year and stay at the house every time! It was the whole package and definitely worthy of the Wahi Pana namesake.
Definitely recommend North Shore Tacos right down the street, Kahuku Grill (10 minutes away), Seven Brothers (both the truck in the Chevron parking lot and the location by Foodland), Papa Ole's for pancakes (5 minutes away) and the shaved ice down in Haleiwa. There's a new "attraction" about 10 minutes away, Keana Farms Zipline, which was an awesome experience! The golf course in Kahuku was definitely a North Shore experience; highly recommended."

"Had a really nice stay in a place that suited us perfectly. The road is a bit noisy but it soon wasnt noticed too much, all was forgiven for the great Lanai complete with Gas Barbecue and steamers to relax on after a hard day at the beach or sightseeing. The location is superb with a lovely beach so close (had it to ourselves most of the week) and a great part of the island to stay in, far nicer than Waikiki. Supermarket and drug store are very close and reasonably priced. The stock of beach equipment in the rental is great , boogie boards chairs umbrellas and more if you needed it and while you cannot see the beach from the rental it is only 100 yards away."

"We stayed in the Koi pond and really enjoyed it. We loved the country setting and the convenient location to everything we wanted to do. The out door space was wonderful and the beds were REALLY comfortable. It is not fancy but well maintained. The only thing lacking was no A/C."
