Went for 2 weeks and want to stay forever!!!
"We went to the cottage with our son for my wife's 50th birthday for 2 weeks and were very delighted on our experience. Right from the time of booking Henrietta took great care to make sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation.
The cottage was very comfortable and the furnishings were in great shape. The kitchen has been renovated recently and was a pleasant surprise for us when we arrived. Beautiful job.
The location was great- away from the busy beach at Waikiki- but close enough to everything that it was not a great time to get anywhere. We walked on the beach for the glorious sunrises every morning. Great beach to swim on also. Close to all the great North Shore beaches - and the surfing was amazing to watch the 2 weeks there.
We were looking for a great alternative to the expensive, crowded and noisy spots in Honolulu and we are happy to say we have found it. Cannot wait to return.
Thanks to Henrietta for sharing her little piece of paradise with us!!

"My extended family of 15 stayed in this home for one week. The house was very clean, plenty of space for everyone, and the backyard was a beautiful beach that we nearly had to ourselves.
We picked coconuts from the trees out front and made coconut bread from a recipe we received at the Polynesian Culture Center (located 5 miles away from home). We went to a nearby fruitstand and the local there told us how to cook the breadfruit that was also growing on the trees in front of the home. We bought fresh shrimp from a nearby stand and that night we cooked shrimp and breadfruit for dinner.
We explored the tidepools literally, steps from the back door and found sea cucumbers, crabs, and tiny fish. A few miles down we saw a pregnant monk seal (named Honeygirl. The locals told us all about her). We saw some dolphins in the distance from our 'private' beach.
Across the street from the home is a grocery store and in my opinion the best restaurant on the North Shore (Papa Ole's).
All of these experiences were possible because of the beautiful place we stayed at, in such a great location. You can't do these types of things when you're staying in a hotel.
Lata was great to work with and very accommodating. We did have a few ants, which was remedied when we were diligent about crumbs. I think this is pretty normal for any home!!"

"We've been renting a beach house every summer for over ten years, but as our family grew it became harder to find one that could accommodate all of us. This property was perfect for our group of 12 adults and 14 kids. Very roomy, luxurious and with a great beach for the little ones. The manager, Lata, was quick to respond to a couple of issues we had which helped to make our stay enjoyable. She was awesome and so friendly. The only negative comment is the AC in the kitchen wasn't working and there was no ceiling fan."

"This place was so cute and a perfect location by the beach. Nice neighbors beautiful sunrise in the morning that finds its way through the windows of the place. The place smelled great, had clean floors, clean sheets, things you need for a home stay like paper plates and etc. It couldn't be more perfect living like other people on the island. Definitely recommend this place over a hotel. Sam was extremely nice and helped us with our booking. Also the area is really safe and quiet. Recommend getting a car to get to this place, it's great though to drive around and see the scenic views. You actually get to see the island instead of just Honolulu or Waikiki. So peaceful. Such a great getaway. Me and my mother had such a great time. Thank you so much for your services. The picture I posted is of the beach right next to it. Amazing sunrise."
