Excellent outstanding home
"The house location is great. The accommodations and home its self are outstanding. We stayed for 2 - weeks and enjoyed each day at the home. Working with the owner was a positive experience. He was available and more than willing to make sure our stay was great. The inside of the home is beautiful and the appliances and fixtures are high quality. The Washer & Dryer in the garage made our stay even more enjoyable. When we arrived the home was very clean and had available many items that made us feel at home. If you want a great place to stay. Our family highly recommends this home."

"We had a wonderful week!!
We had everything we needed to complete our comfort during the stay even an extra blanket that I requested. They were very assessable via text, phone and being close enough if had needed to, we could have dropped in. They gave us a heads up to remind us about trash day(s) and even when a neighbor had something going on which would block the road for a short period of time, they let us know ahead of time. (text) We felt we had the privacy we needed and enjoyed the personalized note with tips and information of the area. I might add that I personally appreciated the wash rags NOT being white. This was our second trip and the first trip at another place went well but after our return home we had received an email about having used a white wash rag to remove make up being stained......... I looked prior..... all 6 washrags were white. I rinsed them but wondered about that.... that small detail was the only reason we didn't return to previous place to rent again on our second trip.
We loved this studio. We would like to go again, in the next couple years, with a few of our kids and will look to rent their larger place when we do!!
The area was secure. We LOVED being on the beach! What a beautiful location!!! I might suggest a solid curtain in the kitchen. :D Just so one doesn't have to hang a towel. :D If our talents got out we would have to loose our day jobs and we're not ready for that. ;) Mahalo!!"

"My extended family of 15 stayed in this home for one week. The house was very clean, plenty of space for everyone, and the backyard was a beautiful beach that we nearly had to ourselves.
We picked coconuts from the trees out front and made coconut bread from a recipe we received at the Polynesian Culture Center (located 5 miles away from home). We went to a nearby fruitstand and the local there told us how to cook the breadfruit that was also growing on the trees in front of the home. We bought fresh shrimp from a nearby stand and that night we cooked shrimp and breadfruit for dinner.
We explored the tidepools literally, steps from the back door and found sea cucumbers, crabs, and tiny fish. A few miles down we saw a pregnant monk seal (named Honeygirl. The locals told us all about her). We saw some dolphins in the distance from our 'private' beach.
Across the street from the home is a grocery store and in my opinion the best restaurant on the North Shore (Papa Ole's).
All of these experiences were possible because of the beautiful place we stayed at, in such a great location. You can't do these types of things when you're staying in a hotel.
Lata was great to work with and very accommodating. We did have a few ants, which was remedied when we were diligent about crumbs. I think this is pretty normal for any home!!"

"We went to the cottage with our son for my wife's 50th birthday for 2 weeks and were very delighted on our experience. Right from the time of booking Henrietta took great care to make sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation.
The cottage was very comfortable and the furnishings were in great shape. The kitchen has been renovated recently and was a pleasant surprise for us when we arrived. Beautiful job.
The location was great- away from the busy beach at Waikiki- but close enough to everything that it was not a great time to get anywhere. We walked on the beach for the glorious sunrises every morning. Great beach to swim on also. Close to all the great North Shore beaches - and the surfing was amazing to watch the 2 weeks there.
We were looking for a great alternative to the expensive, crowded and noisy spots in Honolulu and we are happy to say we have found it. Cannot wait to return.
Thanks to Henrietta for sharing her little piece of paradise with us!!
Chris, Laura and Alex"
