"My family stayed here for five nights and had my wedding and reception on the expansive grounds. It was the perfect venue with tons of space and a gorgeous backdrop for our big day. The caregiver (George) made sure the grounds were immaculate throughout our stay, even making sure to take extra care after a huge windstorm blew through. There is plenty of room here for 20 people to stay; it never felt crowded. We are looking forward to celebrating our anniversary here in the years to come."

"We recently stayed 10 days at this home. The ocean front location cannot be any better. The sunrise is magnificent. A cup of coffee on the deck, watching the beginning of the day is an experience that will provide memories for a lifetime. The house sits on a sea wall, so the deck off the living room is directly on the water. The pictures are accurate, the kayaks were wonderful and the small cove and deck made it wonderful to swim and relax. The master bedroom is spacious but does not have a closet, the cabinet for hanging clothes is the TV cabinet. The 2nd bedroom is very small/dated. The large windows in the living/dining area only open partially to let in the wonderful sea breezes. Bathroom is accessible from both bedrooms, outside deck and livingroom area.
I really wanted this to be a 5 star rental like the other reviewers had given but it had a few issues. The house could use some updating. The love seat in the living room was very worn and dirty. The bar area looks beautiful from the direction that the photo was taken but it was dirty. Paint cans were stored underneath, and this area really needed a thorough cleaning. The curtains in the living room were all mismatched, and the pillows on the sofa could use replacing or washing. The master bedroom and bathroom seemed remodeled.
We loved the crashing of the waves on the sea wall at night, but if you are sensitive to noise, take this into consideration. The house does not have air conditioning, so the windows are open directly over the crashing waves. The back bedroom is adjacent to the road, so this bedroom will have road noise 24/7.
We did have a few problems during our 10 day stay but Arish was very attentive and had the problems solved quickly. The house is locked by a code which failed on us during our stay. It was very fortunate that we were on our way out anyway so we had our phones and car key with us and only returned for a forgotten item. I'm not sure what we would have done, if we were returning from a kayak trip or swim. Once called Arish fixed it immediately but we had our phones.
The contracting procedure for this rental was somewhat awkward with Arish not disclosing the rental address of the property, but it worked out just fine. I was somewhat concerned to send a check for a property that I did not have confirmation of the address.
I certainly would rent again, but it really needs refreshing/updating."

"As I sit here writing this review, I say to myself, "If I tell people how wonderful this was, would I soon not be able to be there?, because too many people would love it too?" If you love the natural beauty of Hawaii and a life unhurried, this is the place for you. The master bed is so comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the view from every room spectacular.. The beach is reef, perfect for swimming. We loved the casual feel of a real beach house. We spent many hours outside, as the yard allows you to decide whether you want to be in shade or sun. There is a busy road close enough to know it is there but not a problem if you pay attention to the traffic....
PS.. We miss not having a Gecko in our Calif house!
