  • The Private Lagoon is the Best!

"We spent 5 terrific days at this beach house, and didn't want to leave. It feels perfectly like home, and as an added bonus you can't beat the ocean right down below you, and the private lagoon for swimming, bathing and snorkeling. The views are out of this world, and we found ourselves just sitting and looking for turtles and marine life. The kayaks are a welcome addition, as are the many decks and outside shower. We took hikes on nearby trails, and took easy day trips to visit different beaches and sample the island's many food trucks. The property manager and cleaning crew were terrific, we were allowed to check in early and appreciated having our travel schedule accommodated. We'd definitely come back!"

  • Awesome Staycation!!

"We live on Oahu, and had friends getting married at Kualoa Ranch, so decided to make a long weekend of it, and spend 3 nights in the Blue Surf Bungalow. It was perfect!! Our 10 year old son got up every morning and paddled right out to surf, and we could watch from the deck. We did tons of SUPing, and took a couple kayak trips. It was so nice to only have to drive 10 minutes to the wedding and be able to drive 10 minutes back afterward and not have to drive all the way back home to the Eastside. Since we live here, we pretty much never left the property----lounged around in the hammock, went diving, surfing, SUPing and just got to relax. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place with an amazing view, and tons of water related things to do----this is the place. We will for sure be back!!"

  • Piece of Heaven

"This location is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice! Very clean, well maintained and the architecture as well as the layout is fabulous. Everything is very well thought out and up to date. We choose this location for part of our trip to Oahu after being in Waikiki for a Convention. Although Waikiki is lovely, it doesn't compare to this cottage and part of the island which was more of "our speed". Away from the crowds, quite, reserved and you can't get any closer to the beach unless you are in the water. It was wonderful having breakfast and dinner out on the lanai - which was very spacious, as we looked over the Pacific. The sunrise was spectacular! Falling to sleep listening the the ocean was amazing. There's beach chairs, beach shoes, snorkel equipment etc right there and available for use. We had a couple of wonderful adventures as well, that we would greatly recommend. Both were about a 30-45 min north. The drive up there includes some great views. One was North Shore Shark Adventures out of Haleiwa. An opportunity to get into a cage out in the Pacific and view Sharks! We saw about 15- 20 during our 20 mins in the cage. Pretty cool! The second one, which we would strongly recommend was a surfing lesson with Uncle Bryan at Cheng Reef (I think that was the name), just before Sunset and Pipeline on the way back to the cottage from Haleiwa. We had an unbelievable time! We tried surfing earlier in the week in Waikiki, but this was far better. The instructors were great, the waves were bigger and we were surfing on the North Shore! It was a 2 hr lesson and we spent about 90 mins out there with I can't tell you how many runs. It was very exhilarating and exhausting. Our instructors Eli and Cruz were fantastic - patient and helpful. Plus the pictures that the photographer took were priceless. All of them, including Uncle Bryan himself, were so nice. The only recommendation we'd make, that could be an issue for some is - although the cottage gets a nice breeze from the trade winds, it would be nice to have some air conditioning. Even with the breeze and fans, it was fairly hot and stuffy. We hope to be able to get back there some time! Thank you!"
