Great condo for the location and price
"My family had a great vacation on the North Shore and this condo was conveniently located to the Turtle Bay Hotel and all of the major attractions. We had a very nice pool next door and enjoyed all of the beaches that were a short walk away. The property itself was clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The managers were very responsive and hospitable and we would definitely recommend this unit."

"This condo was perfect for our family of 4. Our teen daughters shared the loft and hence had their own space when it came to watching TV or just chilling out. The condo was clean, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen, as well as the rest of the condo, was well stocked and the appliances worked well. There were even beach chairs and beach towels! The washer and dryer were very handy. The location is very safe, has beautiful landscaping and maintenance was excellent. The furniture was very comfortable. There was ample space to store clothing and belongings. The condo is just half a mile from Turtle Bay resort, which we visited several times for it's amenities and beach. The location is also convenient to the surrounding beach parks, 2 grocery stores and Ted's Bakery! The property management is organized, professional and friendly. They were very prompt in answering our questions. Overall we would highly recommend this place and are already missing the beauty of the island!"

"Great location about 10 min walk along the golf course to turtle beach which is perfect for kids. Central to lots of other great beaches and attractions on the north shore as well. House came equipped with everything you could need for the beach, snorkel gear, boogie boards, sand toys, chairs etc. The kitchen was also equipped with all the things you need for cooking. We did some BBQing and it was great. Loved that we literally walked out the front door and the pool was in front of us. We have two toddlers so it was great. Condo itself could use some updating but for the price I can't complain. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit we used it quite a bit. My only real complaint would be that it could use some new big nice bath towels. There was literally one towel per person, nothing extra and they were small and ragged. I almost went and bought some. Also there were no dish rags for the kitchen and cleaning supplies. I'm kinda a clean freak and while we pay a cleaning fee to have it cleaned at the end I would have liked some supplies there to clean throughout the 7 days and just keep up with things. We ended up buying some dish soap and other things that we left. We vacuumed a couples but even the vacuum was old and hard to run. Also the A/C in the master bedroom didn't really work and was so loud we just didn't use it. Overall it's a good place in a great north shore location. A few new nice bath towels, kitchen towels and cleaning supplies could go along way and this place would be perfect!"

"Our blended family of 7 had an amazing stay on Oahu's North Shore in the "Blue Hawaiian" unit #149W.
The condo is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The Kitchen is the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental we've ever booked. We had to use the broiler to cook our meat most evenings as neither of us are great with a charcoal BBQ and couldn't keep it lit well enough to actually cook. But that was more than fine.
There are 2 boogie boards, several chairs, sand toys and lots of beach towels for days exploring Oahu's beaches. Our favourite was Waimea Bay which is about 12 minutes by car. The beach at Turtle Bay was great too, especially for snorkeling and is about a 7-10 minute walk. I'm sure without kids you could make it in 5-7 minutes.
Our favourite day trips were into Haleiwa for shave ice and food trucks. We also ate at Pizza Bobs on our last evening and found it to be excellent value and great service. We loved Waimea Bay and could have spent every day there body surfing if the conditions allowed. We went to the Aloha Stadium swap meet for our souvenir shopping and then an afternoon on Waikiki beach as well as a day at Ko Olina. We much preferred the beaches on the North Shore. The Polynesian Cultural Centre was great too. Bring a Hawaii Entertainment Book with you and get a free admission. Many car rental companies also provide a coupon. We saved about $150 on admission by going this way. We didn't do the luau and didn't feel we missed out as we saw so much else. Turtle Bay has a free Luau show on Sunday nights at 7pm which was fun. We ate at Ola that evening and then headed up to the Point at the pool for the sunset, a drink and the show.
With numerous pools on the property it was great for the kids for night swimming. Just be warned, the paths to the pools aren't lot very well and we had a couple of falls off the pathways. This has nothing to do with the unit though. We just brought our iphones after our first experience. :)
With the windows open the condo is well ventilated. The trade winds cool it down for the most part. It was quite warm on a couple of our evenings so we used the fans as well. We never needed the air conditioning.
The unit was clean and well kept and provided excellent value for the money spent. If you're looking to do Hawaii on a budget but still feel comfortable this is it. Hit Costco on the H2 Highway on your way up and you're good to go!
Thanks for a great trip"
