  • Great Place to Stay on the North Shore

"I have been staying at Turtle Bay for the last five years. This is one of the best condos I ever rented. Excellent property, very clean and well stocked. Owner was so very easy to work with she was the best. Great stay will rent from her again. Mahalo loved it"

  • Totally Awesome!!

"After our long plane ride from the east coast and getting caught in Honolulu rush hour traffic, needless to say, we were weary travelers. We opened the door to the Hibiscus house and an immediate sense of relaxation washed over us. We knew right away this was going to be an amazing stay! The description is spot on. Open, airy and clean with stunning views. Almost every morning we were greeted with a rainbow, (even a double rainbow), and every evening we had amazing sunsets with whales breaching too! The kitchen is fully equipped and the appliances are all in excellent working order (except the toaster), we just needed to stock it up with food. Foodland is a 5 minute bike ride away. Every morning we took a beach walk then came back, ate breakfast on the deck then gathered up the provided beach chairs and towels and headed to the beach again. They have outdoor showers with hot water to wash off the beach sand before going back in the house. Like other reviewers said, the living room furniture is a little uncomfortable but we rarely sat on it because we were always on the deck. The beds are comfortable though. There is also a washer and dryer which is a huge plus because I packed fairly light. Bath towels are provided as well. We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a luau and the fire show, "HA, Breath of Life". I'd give that 5 stars too. We also had a tour of Waimea Park which was amazing with exotic trees, flowers and waterfalls. I recommend taking the guided tour because the guides are extremely knowledgeable. In that same park on Thursdays is a Farmer's market which feature locally grown produce, crafts, fresh breads and prepared food. If you like a good workout, look up D.Bach Functional Fitness. The Hibiscus house was a perfect fit for our group and we are planning on returning. Honolulu/Waikiki is 45 minutes away. Meh, it looks like any bustling beach city. It reminded be of South Beach. It was fun for one night but for the rest of our stay the North Shore of Oahu was the way to go. It is super laid back and peaceful. Mahalo Hawai'i and Hibiscus house owners!!!"

  • As advertized!

"We stayed here for a weekend March beginning April – as a senior honeymoon! A perfect spot and accommodation for that! Everything was first rate. The unit itself (205) in terms of location, size, the furnishings, and appliances is first-cabin. The bathroom had a great shower and whirlpool tub. And there is a washer and dryer handy for after beach visits. The Villas themselves are situated close to the Turtle Bay Resort hotel with its many restaurants but one next to the Villas, Ola’s, is the best. We’ve stayed in many vacation condos in many locations – all have had some defect or disappointment. This one delivered as promised. No unpleasant surprises. If you compare rates between the hotel resort and these Villas you will see that it’s Villas for value. We’ll be back."
