Loved our stay near Turtle Bay.
"This condo was just right for our family stay with 3 generations. The unit has been updated, is spotless and well equipped. There were Comfortable beds for everyone and a perfectly quiet night's sleep. If you are arriving at night, I would recommend asking the manager to leave the key at the condo. I would definitely stay here again we loved the beach at Turtle Bay and the surfing on the North Shore."

"After our long plane ride from the east coast and getting caught in Honolulu rush hour traffic, needless to say, we were weary travelers. We opened the door to the Hibiscus house and an immediate sense of relaxation washed over us. We knew right away this was going to be an amazing stay! The description is spot on. Open, airy and clean with stunning views. Almost every morning we were greeted with a rainbow, (even a double rainbow), and every evening we had amazing sunsets with whales breaching too! The kitchen is fully equipped and the appliances are all in excellent working order (except the toaster), we just needed to stock it up with food. Foodland is a 5 minute bike ride away. Every morning we took a beach walk then came back, ate breakfast on the deck then gathered up the provided beach chairs and towels and headed to the beach again. They have outdoor showers with hot water to wash off the beach sand before going back in the house. Like other reviewers said, the living room furniture is a little uncomfortable but we rarely sat on it because we were always on the deck. The beds are comfortable though. There is also a washer and dryer which is a huge plus because I packed fairly light. Bath towels are provided as well.
We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a luau and the fire show, "HA, Breath of Life". I'd give that 5 stars too. We also had a tour of Waimea Park which was amazing with exotic trees, flowers and waterfalls. I recommend taking the guided tour because the guides are extremely knowledgeable. In that same park on Thursdays is a Farmer's market which feature locally grown produce, crafts, fresh breads and prepared food. If you like a good workout, look up D.Bach Functional Fitness.
The Hibiscus house was a perfect fit for our group and we are planning on returning. Honolulu/Waikiki is 45 minutes away. Meh, it looks like any bustling beach city. It reminded be of South Beach. It was fun for one night but for the rest of our stay the North Shore of Oahu was the way to go. It is super laid back and peaceful.
Mahalo Hawai'i and Hibiscus house owners!!!"

"I grew up on Oahu and have been back several times. I've always stayed in Waikiki until this trip. Turtle Bay and the North Shore (Kahuku) location of this condo are very beautiful and quiet (except for the rooster who crowed in the mornings up the road, love it!). The Condo is to die for, and a little home away from home. So much so that I looked at other units in the complex for sale while we were there and we definitely didn't want to "move out" at the end of our vacation. Everything is provided for you, more than you would find in any hotel. With the ceiling fans on and the sliding doors in the living room and bedroom open you get a wonderful cool fresh air breeze throughout. We never turned on the air conditioner once. The sofa in the living room is so comfortable that my wife and I found it hard to get up and go to bed. I would doze off out there almost nightly LOL. My morning ritual was to take a cup of coffee into the "backyard" and visit with the snails and Geckos and birds that inhabit the lush greenery that surround the Lanai and the golf course. We try to visit "home" once a year and will be making this condo our place to stay from now on until the owner no longer has it available!! there are many restaurants and two supermarkets nearby in Laie and Pupukea that provide anything else you could need as well. Thank You for a wonderful, unforgettable vacation!! If you plan to spend a lot of time on the Leeward side of the island (i.e. Waikiki, Pearl Harbor) be prepared for about an hours absolutely delightful drive back and forth to the condo. I have always loved to drive along the coast on Oahu, so this was absolutely perfect for me!!"

"Upon arriving at the condo, we were impressed beyond belief. Not only did the pictures not do justice, but to have a fully equipped condo, ready to use, was a relief. The only thing need to make a vacation, is the food and beverages you require. The condo was spotless and ready. The two bedrooms were well decorated and the beds very comfortable. But a fully (and I mean fully) equipped kitchen was waiting for us, was a sigh of relief. The bathrooms were also spotless and clean.
The grounds on the property were well maintained and beautiful The view from the back while BBQ was outstanding. Everything was at your finger tips. Day trips to one of the many beaches or a trip into Pearl Harbor. Anything is possible from this location.
Upon arriving we notice no Air conditioning on the main floor. This turned out to be no problem with the beautiful winds in Hawaii. The bedrooms have air, but were never needed, due to the breeze. One evening we noticed someone by our vehicle with a flash light, turned out to be security. Made sleeping with the sliding door open much easier. Knowing that security was watching all the units. We purchased towels before we arrived. Only to give them away as the unit has plenty of linens, towels, beach towels etc. The beach gear is also there, from beach chairs to a beach ball and everything needed, including coolers for the beach.
We had problem with the pool key and notified the owners via email. It turned out it was the key operator not the key, but before I could notify the owner everything was fine, she had an extra key delivered to the unit. Seems our comfort was her main concern.
I cannot say enough, the property was beautiful and the experience was excellent. If your planning a trip to Oahu and want a gem to stay in. I highly recommend this unit at North Shore.
Thanks again Pat for allowing us to use your "Most Luxurious Condo at Turtle Bay."
