Really Nice Unit. 1st time with VRBO and Not a good experience
"I was forced by VRBO to amend this review and delete the address of this unit. I say this because it is like pulling teeth trying to get this information so you can plan your vacation. VRBO won't tell you until, supposedly, two weeks before you go! Which they did NOT do without many emails back and forth and finally getting the info. direct from the Owner 6 days before we left. That being said......
This one bedroom, one bath unit is very nice. There is ample room in the living room for the pull out couch and another couple or some kids. Having a washer and dryer in unit was great. It has every cooking gadget you could imagine EXCEPT a cheese grater. Plenty of dishes, utensils, towels, bedding, for 4 people. Multiple cleaning supplies including dish soap and dishwasher detergent, laundry soap and softener, hairdryer, Smart TVs in living room and bedroom, queen size bed and large closet in bedroom. The A/C is a tiny wall unit in the bedroom and does not reach to the rest of the unit. But we didn't ever use it because with the windows open and the lovely ceiling fans going you don't need it. Sadly the permanent tenant in the adjoining unit is a chain smoker so we had the second hand smoke to contend with. If you are allergic don't rent this unit.
PROBLEM: When we arrived at the gate the gal who was suppose to let us in had her answering machine on and we couldn't get in. We ended up calling Security to let us in.
PROBLEM: The entrance gate and the swimming pool gate use the same, one-and-only key fob. So if one person leaves and the other takes a day at the pool it's a problem. The driver could open the gate to the pool and then leave but there are no restrooms at the pool so.........what? Pee in the pool? Because once you leave you can't get back in. The pool person could let the driver out, then walk from the gate to the pool, (not very far) but then when they return you have to walk to the entrance gate to let them in again.
PROBLEM: This is a downstairs unit right on the road and you get road noise. Also, there is minimal, if any, sound proofing between units and we had a heard of elephants roaming above us with their A/C unit on continuously right outside our bedroom window."

"Loved the location of the condo - very convenient to northern Oahu attractions. Kawela Beach was a beautiful beach on the property of Turtle Bay and we practically had it to ourselves (ranked in top 15 Oahu beaches). The condo had some beach toys which my kids loved and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Three televisions for when you are in the condo - one upstairs, one in living room, and one in master bedroom. We had a minor maintenance problem which the owner and maintenance person addressed quickly.
Location is quiet, especially compared to Honolulu. The resort puts on a free luau every Wed and Sunday night which was small but fun. There are hiking and biking trails on resort premises which were fun. There is a Foodland about 10 minutes away. Polynesian Cultural Center and Sharks Cove are about 10 minutes away. We liked the northern shore of Oahu much more than the southern part.
We would stay here again."

"What a great experience for my family. Easy rental process. clear instructions. Clean unit, easily accommodated 7 people. Great view of the golf course, close to everything we needed. Thanks so much for making this a special occasion."

Very quiet property in great location on the North Shore.
"We really enjoyed our stay at Plumeria House. Comfortable for 6 adults and one toddler. Although we were only such a large party for 2 nights. First night we arrived there was no hot water. Luckily we were too tired to be very inconvenienced and, after a few texts to the owner, a maintenance man arrived the next morning and installed a new water heater. Still had a few troubles with there being no hot water but they did fix the issue as soon as they were able so while it was a little irritating to be without hot water after a long day at the beach we realized stuff happens and we have absolutely no complaints with how they handled the mattered. They are fully stocked on gear: chairs, bikes, toys etc. And a quick note for parents. I have a very tall toddler ( not yet 2yrs but over 3"). The pack n' play they offer is big, 3"x 3". So large, I didn't recognize it for what it was and called the 'emergency' number in a panic, big enough for my kid to stretch out diagonally so there was no need to rent a full size crib from an outside company. That was a definite bonus! Would definitely stay here again."
