Fantastic Value on Oahu's North Shore!
"Our blended family of 7 had an amazing stay on Oahu's North Shore in the "Blue Hawaiian" unit #149W.
The condo is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The Kitchen is the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental we've ever booked. We had to use the broiler to cook our meat most evenings as neither of us are great with a charcoal BBQ and couldn't keep it lit well enough to actually cook. But that was more than fine.
There are 2 boogie boards, several chairs, sand toys and lots of beach towels for days exploring Oahu's beaches. Our favourite was Waimea Bay which is about 12 minutes by car. The beach at Turtle Bay was great too, especially for snorkeling and is about a 7-10 minute walk. I'm sure without kids you could make it in 5-7 minutes.
Our favourite day trips were into Haleiwa for shave ice and food trucks. We also ate at Pizza Bobs on our last evening and found it to be excellent value and great service. We loved Waimea Bay and could have spent every day there body surfing if the conditions allowed. We went to the Aloha Stadium swap meet for our souvenir shopping and then an afternoon on Waikiki beach as well as a day at Ko Olina. We much preferred the beaches on the North Shore. The Polynesian Cultural Centre was great too. Bring a Hawaii Entertainment Book with you and get a free admission. Many car rental companies also provide a coupon. We saved about $150 on admission by going this way. We didn't do the luau and didn't feel we missed out as we saw so much else. Turtle Bay has a free Luau show on Sunday nights at 7pm which was fun. We ate at Ola that evening and then headed up to the Point at the pool for the sunset, a drink and the show.
With numerous pools on the property it was great for the kids for night swimming. Just be warned, the paths to the pools aren't lot very well and we had a couple of falls off the pathways. This has nothing to do with the unit though. We just brought our iphones after our first experience. :)
With the windows open the condo is well ventilated. The trade winds cool it down for the most part. It was quite warm on a couple of our evenings so we used the fans as well. We never needed the air conditioning.
The unit was clean and well kept and provided excellent value for the money spent. If you're looking to do Hawaii on a budget but still feel comfortable this is it. Hit Costco on the H2 Highway on your way up and you're good to go!
Thanks for a great trip"

"My family stayed here during a recent visit to the North Shore. What a wonderful condo! Great location right on the 2nd hole of the Fazio golf course at Turtle Bay, it's a quick (5-7 minutes) and enjoyable walk on paths and sidewalks to the resorts beaches, pools, restaurants and activities.
The condo itself is nicely appointed, with everything we needed for our 15 month old toddler to enjoy himself. Being on the first floor is great, as he could toddle right out the patio door onto the grass to play. Having beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, even golf clubs - this was all a big help, since we couldn't cart those items from the Mainland! We cooked several meals in the kitchen and found we had everything needed.
The North Shore setting is fantastic. It's rural and laid-back, befitting of the world-class surfing locales you're surrounded by. There are farm stands and shrimp trucks, Ted's Bakery (EAT THE COCONUT CAKE...DO IT!), a full-service grocery store, art galleries and other shops all within a quick drive.
Turtle Bay is the antithesis of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It's relaxed, slow, and everything I want my Hawaii experience to be. The property (both the resort proper as well as the condos) is impeccably maintained and will provide everything you need and desire for your vacation!"

"We stayed at this condo over Christmas/New Years. It is spacious, clean, and well kept.
Kitchen has everything you need to be able to make meals for dinner on the lanai!
Management provides great service. Our coffee maker wasn't working properly, and they had a new one delivered to the condo for us the next day. Great location for our family as we enjoy the slower pace of the North Shore. It's just a short walk to the ocean at Turtle Bay, or a short drive to Haleiwa (with its shops/restaurants). Five of us were very comfortable in this condo. Thanks!"

"We wanted an amazing place to celebrate our parents 40th anniversary and uncles 60th birthday. We wanted something comfortable since we where traveling with 2 babies and 8 adults. We could not have asked for a more beautiful and comfortable place. The villa was stocked with anything you would need. From fully supplied kitchen, to laundry soap, comfortable beds, play pens and high chair. We also had access to quality snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The beach and pool are awesome. The snorkeling is cool. We got to see beautiful fish and turtles.
The view from the lanai amazing!!!!
The villa is steps away from the elevators and parking. Which made it so easy to bring as little or as much as we wanted to the beach or the car. Parking was also super easy and convenient.
You can also walk to the hotel and enjoy their entertainment, have a meal or just sit there and watch the surfers.
The owner provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay.
We loved every moment of our stay. Would definitely recommend from anyone looking for a peaceful but fun stay away from the busy Waikiki area."
