"Best family vacation ever. Stayed 5 nights and we miss it already. Janet and her family are awesome. This is the place to get away and relax. Snorkeled with sea turtles right there every day!! The town is great and the people were great. We cooked out on the grill and we went out as well. We went to all the North Shore beaches. We went hiking. We went to Waimea Falls. All the attractions are within minutes from here. We have been to Maui and Oahu twice now. We have been on all inclusive Mexico trips. Been to St. Thomas. This was our best vacation without all the glitz. It's like going to a cabin in the hill country of Texas, but it's Hawaii. We will be back!"

"We went to the cottage with our son for my wife's 50th birthday for 2 weeks and were very delighted on our experience. Right from the time of booking Henrietta took great care to make sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation.
The cottage was very comfortable and the furnishings were in great shape. The kitchen has been renovated recently and was a pleasant surprise for us when we arrived. Beautiful job.
The location was great- away from the busy beach at Waikiki- but close enough to everything that it was not a great time to get anywhere. We walked on the beach for the glorious sunrises every morning. Great beach to swim on also. Close to all the great North Shore beaches - and the surfing was amazing to watch the 2 weeks there.
We were looking for a great alternative to the expensive, crowded and noisy spots in Honolulu and we are happy to say we have found it. Cannot wait to return.
Thanks to Henrietta for sharing her little piece of paradise with us!!
Chris, Laura and Alex"

"This place had the perfect location in the North Shore of Oahu. Close to beaches, shopping and dining. My 10 day stay there was definitely a two thumbs up experience and I highly recommend and endorse this location."

"My wife and I got married on this property just a week ago, and it was the first time our families would meet. Hale Aloha fit our needs wonderfully for both the wedding event and five nights of revelry and celebration. With 13 adults and 2 kids staying at the house, there was enough room for everybody to have their privacy, while the living room, kitchen and broad upper deck gave us all a place to gather, eat and drink together, without once feeling crammed or in need of more space. The house has a Swiss Family Robinson jungle castle feel to it, with natural light flooding in in the morning from bay windows and sky lights. The gardens are lush with tropical flora, and my niece made sure there was a big bowl of freshly collected plumeria flowers on the breakfast table every morning. We were married on the great lawn, which could have easily accommodated a party 4 times our size. Anybody planning a Hawaiian wedding should give this place real consideration. Beach access is a scant two minute walk, with access to some the island's best beaches just a short drive away. Gregory, the owner, was helpful and supportive throughout our stay, giving us recommendations for sightseeing and dining out. All in all, this place was perfect for us. We're already talking about a five year reunion there!"
