"We thought our unit 18a was great. Very comfortable. It has everything for cooking. We were there a month. Just a few units away and you are on the beach. Sunsets were great. This is a great place to stay after fighting g the traffic of Honolulu. The owners take care of any needs immediately. You must rent for a month-not too long. Nice pool, clean laundry room and friendly people. Mahal."

"We really enjoyed staying at your beautiful oceanfront home. Even though we are from Oahu, this was a perfect island getaway! It was relaxing and very quiet, which we enjoyed the sound of the waves...so peaceful! My husband enjoyed fishing from the backyard. He caught a couple of Papio, but released it back in the ocean. Mahalo for sharing your home."

"Imagine walking into the Honu Hale I and looking past an expansive beautifully decorated living area to a breathtaking view of the ocean. When my family and I first walked into this wonderful home, we were awed by the Hawaiian beauty, inside and out! Honestly, the photos on this web site do not do this home justice. It is far better!
We absolutely enjoyed our week at Honu Hale I in September 2015, beginning each day with morning coffee on the edge of the sea, watching sea turtles pop up just beyond the sea wall. The kitchen is fully stocked for easy and creative cooking. We had lots of meals at the house, enjoying our time in such a special spot on the North Shore. We also loved sitting around the big dining room table and playing board games, which come with the home. The sleeping arrangements are great, and the beds very comfortable. Everyone wanted to shower, at least once, in the "dolphin shower" because it was so cool.
It was so easy for us to quickly get comfortable in this home. The Honu Hale I also comes with lots of amenities for beach trips, including big beach towels, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, and lifejackets. This really was a special place; quiet, Hawaiian beauty for relaxing and truly getting away from it all. And if you want to go to town, it's a short drive to the town of Wailua and Matsumoto's fabulous shaved ice! The North Shore is a great place to explore.
We are so very happy to have found Honu Hale I and hope to one day return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage -- it was exactly as on the listing and perfect for our 6 days there. Two couples travelling - perfect size, great beds, and 2 bathrooms made it just right! It was so nice to have everything we needed -- towels and chairs, and charcoal for the grill. the little things like a spare toothbrush (which we needed!) and toiletries, not to mention a well stocked kitchen with coffee filters and paper goods. Being from California, the enormous green expanse of lawn was a most welcome sight -- and if you are into birds, we saw 15 species just hanging out on the covered porch. Wrong time of the year for the ones at Ka‘ena Point, which just means we'll need to come back! The short walk to the beach was a breeze, no traffic (only one car total for the trip) -- a beautiful no wave beach, perfect for a dip or paddling around. It all added up to a delightful, relaxing vacation."
