"We had a wonderful time while staying here! The house was really nice - the pictures don't do it justice! We were there just after a HUGE storm came through and washed away the beach in front of the house (which they're working to repair) but the views were still amazing and we fell asleep listening to the waves crashing every night. Tiffany was wonderful to work with and was very helpful! We rented the house with my husband's family and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. It was so nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood instead of a busy resort area. We had four young children with us and it was nice to know that we had our own space and their running around and being loud wasn't bothering the people around us like it would in a hotel. There is a lot of beach equipment here for your use. There were plenty of beach towels, lots of snorkeling gear for kids and adults, boogie boards, life jackets for kids and adults, beach umbrellas, beach toys for sandcastles, and kayaks. I would definitely recommend checking out what is there before you go and buy anything. We loaded up on food at Costco before going to the house. There are stores about 10-15 minutes away but they're not as affordable as Costco. We tried to use our phones to get directions to the store (in the dark) and that did not work well so we had to stop and ask someone how to get there. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the North Shore Oasis and would highly recommend it to anyone!"Guest: Becky F. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 20, 2014View listing
"This house is so beautiful and secluded just like having a paradise in your backyard. The parking lot area and the walkway leading to the house were my favorites. We (9 people including the groom's family and my family) were here to for my wedding, although Bobby and Jennifer do not generally lease their house for wedding purposes, they agreed to help me out upon learning that it will be a small wedding (and it indeed is a perfect place for a intimate small gathering!) I chose here because the backyard is right next to a white sandy beach, so I can have a garden wedding with the ocean backdrop! The beach is also very secluded that it feels like having a private beach. The property is spacious so that everyone got a room they like (plenty to choose from including two ocean-views). Bobby and Jennifer are very responsive in the booking process, extremely helpful during our stay and on the wedding day. The refund deposit was also sent back to us in a timely manner. I have nothing but good words to say about this property and the hosts!"Guest: xing Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 26, 2014View listing
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home on the beach. Nearly everything you could want or need is at the home. From snorkel gear, reef shoes, boogie boards, beach chairs, kitchen equipment, etc., it’s all there. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. Robert, the property manager, is a great guy, very helpful and has a wealth of information on the area. The beach is not private, but public access points are several miles away each direction, so we only had a handful of other people pass by each day. There are many restaurants and shops in Haleiwa Town, about a 10 minute drive away. The family that owns the home next door had a gathering one Saturday (they don’t live there full time) that we found enjoyable. They were very nice people and we enjoyed chatting with them, watching them fish, and watching the teenagers play in the ocean. They were doing the same thing we were…..enjoying their beach home. We saw turtles in the ocean every day, and a few days one or two of them were sleeping on the beach right at the house. There’s a skydiving center several miles down the road, so we could sit on the beach watching the skydivers, surfers, and sailboarders in the distance. It was truly a great vacation."Guest: Jeff B. "My family and I stayed here for 1 week and we absolutely loved it! The house was a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of the island. Every time we left the house we always found ourselves wanting to go back and hang out back at the house. You can't get any better then this it is so close to the ocean the only thing separating the house from the ocean is about 10 feet of grass and the seawall. So Beautiful! There is a sandy patch that runs along the inside of the seawall that our kids LOVED to play in and kept them entertained while we were able to FISH right off the backyard. We caught 2 eels, some trigger fish and a few moi fish, nice! This house is on the Farrington highway which is a fast drive to Haleiwa (famous historical surfing town) which has beaches, kayak and board rentals/lessons, fishing, shopping, dining and lots of beautiful views. You will not be disappointed with your stay. Although, the property manager is very helpful and knowledgeable on home and only a phone call away if needed (thank you Michalene!)...we were very grateful on not being disturbed which gave us lots of privacy and peacefulness; it was a true vacation. LOVE! This house is also close proximity to the Dole Plantation, the Kukuhu Fruit stand (secret beach across the street), and some nearly deserted beaches only minutes up the street."Guest: Tara B. Mokuleia Vacation Rentals Stave Off the Credit Card Hangover
Many people go on vacation to relax only to return to a credit card statement that makes them even more stressed out than they were when they left to get some rest and relaxation. There are a number of Mokuleia vacation rentals that are priced competitively with hotels and offer lots of money saving amenities such as a kitchen and laundry facilities.
Mokuleia condos, for example, are often very well priced and are usually less expensive than larger North Shore Oahu beach rentals. One of the best things about Mokuleia condos is that they have all of the amenities of the larger North Shore Oahu beach rentals but are more compact and less expensive.
Even larger rental properties can be more affordable than hotels if a number of people are helping to pay for the bill. This is especially true if it is a large family that is vacationing together and a few of the adults agree to split the cost of the vacation rental.
And don't forget that you can save a pretty penny on your vacation by cooking a few of your meals instead of going out to restaurants and doing your own laundry instead of paying for a hotel laundry service.
