"After looking at numerous choices available for our vacation we chose this home in Mokuleia HI and we are very happy that we did. The house is just as described and looks just like the pictures. We were there for a mini-family reunion and the house was great for that. With the layout of the house you could be very close to one another or very separated. The outside yard is great for the kids to be able to run around and explore. The deck outside was great for gathering and sitting around to talk. Gregory and Ryan were very accommodating to any request that we had and checked on us several times to make sure that everything was going well. The house had everything we needed, plus some.. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, several tvs, but I don't think they were ever used, boogie boards, kayak, tennis court/volley ball court, several games, hot tub, the list can go on and on........ The views from the house were great. For us the location was wonderful but you are secluded so if you want the big city vacation then you might not want this location. It is a very short walk to your own beach was great for snorkeling and great for kids. There are several other beaches close by within a very short driving distance. We had a great vacation and really enjoyed staying at this home. I have nothing negative to say about this house. Thanks Gregory for allowing us to rent your home. Mahalo!"Guest: Todd M. "Perfect living space for the four of us right near the beach. We walked over to the ocean at sunrise and sunset, viewing whales, turtles, surfers, and more distant mountains and colorful parachuters. And an easy ten minute drive to all the North Shore beaches, catamaran whale watching right off the bow of the boat, and sunset dining. The full set of accommodations worked well, with kitchen for breakfast and coffee, easy high-speed internet for staying in touch with civilization, and TV (though didn't much of that in paradise!). Highly recommended!"Guest: Carl Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 24, 2014View listing
"We were surprised at the size of this place, and a huge yard. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable for my wife, me and our 8yo daughter. We fell asleep with the ocean breeze and sound of waves every night. It is far from the craziness of the North Shore traffic and crowds. The walk to the beach was longer than expected because of private property in the neighborhood, but it is pleasant walk, and we always had full stretches of beach to ourselves. We went to the beach every morning, then other island excursions later in the day."Guest: DBL Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 21, 2014View listing
"If you love the sight and the sound of the surf 24/7 this is the place to be. No surprises based on the vrbo site. Steps to the beach, turtles to the right on the beach on many days plus had several swims with the turtles just off the beach. The cottage is very comfortable and fully stocked. It was a great location for our family reunion of eight. Many wonderful restaurants in Haleiwa--Opals for Thai, the Grass Shirt for ahi burgers and Haleiwa Joes for a variety of excellent dishes--seafood and meats, Waialua Bakery for fresh baked turkey sandwiches and Bonsai for sushi. If you want to see big wave surfing come when the Volcom competition is held at the Pipeline. We enjoyed many days watching surfers from all over the world. Did I mention the very private beach--maybe 4-6 people walked by the cottage each day."Guest: Creed and Mickie Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 18, 2014View listing

Mokuleia Vacation Rentals Stave Off the Credit Card Hangover
Many people go on vacation to relax only to return to a credit card statement that makes them even more stressed out than they were when they left to get some rest and relaxation. There are a number of Mokuleia vacation rentals that are priced competitively with hotels and offer lots of money saving amenities such as a kitchen and laundry facilities.
Mokuleia condos, for example, are often very well priced and are usually less expensive than larger North Shore Oahu beach rentals. One of the best things about Mokuleia condos is that they have all of the amenities of the larger North Shore Oahu beach rentals but are more compact and less expensive.
Even larger rental properties can be more affordable than hotels if a number of people are helping to pay for the bill. This is especially true if it is a large family that is vacationing together and a few of the adults agree to split the cost of the vacation rental.
And don't forget that you can save a pretty penny on your vacation by cooking a few of your meals instead of going out to restaurants and doing your own laundry instead of paying for a hotel laundry service.
