"This is definitely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. The owners have provided everything you could ever need for your stay and more. The location is fantastic with views of the ocean in front and the mountains to the side. We went snorkeling every morning and evening viewing many different types of fish there is a reef in front which breaks the waves and makes it a great place to do this. There are stores very close and we found Tamuras market to be very well stocked with some of the best prices for groceries on the island. The polynesian centre is very close as are numerous beaches and food side stands and markets. It is very well situated for driving any where with Waikiki and Honolulu only about 45 minutes away if you are so inclined we went to get away from the crowds so we mostly went up island. If you like shopping be sure to visit Haleiwa there are some wonderful stores there and some lovely beaches. The Dole plantation is within an hour drive and the scenery along these drives is wonderful. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family everything is as described in fact we were pleasantly surprised to find a fairly well equipped fitness centre on the main floor. If you are going for a romantic getaway or want to just get away from the crowds and do some sight seeing this is the perfect getaway. Thanks to Damien for sharing this wonderful condo,"

  • A great place to stay if the ambiance is not important to you.

"Came to the North Shore to get away from all the craziness of Waikiki. Love the view, love how close to the ocean you are and most of all loved snorkeling with all 3 of our kids right from the sand located just below. The home itself is a bit outdated. Some fixtures are rusty looking but are functional. Accommodations are very comfortable and spacious. Plenty of sitting and sleeping area. It is a bit of a drive to find something to eat that is not an outdoor stand. However, I have learned eating at the outdoor stands is quite a wonderful experience."

"I travelled to Honolulu to have a family reunion and I took some days up the coast. This condo was perfect for two of us traveling with 2 very comfortable beds in different rooms and an outstanding view of quite a private beach. There were very few people on the beach so it was lovely and felt like it was ours. The most important part of this review is what happened after we left. I got confused by the billing on my credit card statement from an esquare company from someone from California (having forgotten that the owner lived there) and cancelled the payment, My goodness, when I realized I had messed up I tried to stop the cancellation but it took months to work out for whatever reasons. I will have to say that the owner of this property was gracious, helpful, kind and above all.. patient. He is someone you can trust and depend on so feel free to book this condo knowing you are in good hands and enjoy a marvelous time on the beaches of Hawaii."

"Stayed at the condo for a week and it was great! Had everything we needed for the week. Great views, nice wind blowing through condo, private beach. Pretty good area to stay if traveling on the east part of the island during most of your stay. Alison was very helpful letting us ship something to her and then bringing it to us. Would stay again! Thanks!"

Punaluu Travel Tips

Get Your Slice of Heaven: Punaluu Vacation Rentals

Punaluu vacation rentals are located in a relatively quiet and thinly populated area on the North Shore of Oahu. There is, however, a year round population of green sea turtles on Punaluu beach, which is quite distinct as it is a black sand beach. There are also nearby marshlands that are home to exotic species of birds. Solitude, sea turtles, black sand beaches, and gorgeous birds: this may truly be a slice of heaven.

Punaluu Vacation Rentals Offer the Perfect Private Getaway

For people who lead busy lives and spend many of their days working with many other people and interacting with groups of people, solitude is sometimes the best treat. Punaluu vacation rentals can offer solitude and peace to the weary. In fact, the town only has one small commercial center. Otherwise, the area is quiet with few people but a great deal of wonderful nature to appreciate. Punaluu vacation rentals come in all sizes, for people who just want to get away by themselves as well as people who are traveling in larger groups.

Punaluu Condos: Perfect 'for Medium and Small Travel Groups'

Not everyone needs to stay in one of the big, sprawling North Shore Oahu beach rentals. Punaluu condos are great for groups of two to five people. They are usually perfect for couples and smaller families. Sometimes, couples vacationing together will rent adjacent Punaluu condos instead of splitting North Shore Oahu beach rentals.

For larger groups, there are much bigger North Shore Oahu beach rentals that can comfortably sleep over one dozen people. This larger size is best for big families, large traveling groups, and family reunions. For people who need even more space, it is sometimes possible to rent large adjacent houses that can accommodate numerous branches of the family.
