  • Relaxing and quiet

"Our family of four, including two teenagers, had a great time here in August. It's spacious and has a great cross-breeze to keep it cool. The beds are comfy, kitchen is great and overall worked really well for us. The unit really is just a stone's throw from the beach, and this was probably the highlight for us. We enjoyed the best snorkelling here, right off the beach, better than anywhere else we found on Oahu apart from Hanauma Bay. The unit had snorkel gear in the storage close which worked well for us and saved $$ in renting. The location is also great, away from crowds in Honolulu/Waikiki and with amazing views along the north shore. Not far in either direction are local towns, restaurants and activities so there's lots to do if you want. North Shore Tacos serves up a great fish and shrimp taco meal. Definitely recommended, we'd return here in a heartbeat. Thanks!"

  • Perfect Beach House

"My husband and I spent 2 weeks here, with our families coming all the way from Europe. Kerry (the owner) and Billy (manager) were really pleasant and easy to work with. The house is a perfect beach home, in the most beautiful part of the island. We've been in Hawaii before, but only stayed in hotels and this house was a real treat for us - having everything that you need (just like home) and a perfect beach, right in the front of the house. Breakfast in the morning and dinner at the sunset, sipping coffee on the porch, right next to the ocean - what else you can ask for. The beds were really comfortable. We had enough towels; there were some amazing books in the drawers, TV that we didn't turn on once (no need), AC available in each room, coffee machine, even a slow cooker (wow), washer, dryer, a lot of board games, toys for kids etc. Once again, I want to thank Kerry for having us, and we will definitely come back. Mahalo!"

  • K & E

"We are just back from a fantastic stay on Oahu, including 4 days here. We loved the view, the sounds of the waves and palm trees, the steady breezes, being steps from the beach (saw a turtle close to shore, a moray eel, and small fish when we went out a good ways snorkeling), and the proximity to the Pupukea and Haleiwa. We hated to leave! Made good use of the kitchen for eating in and packing picnics; it's great to have a stove, not just a microwave like many places. Didn't use the outdoor shared grills but saw others enjoying them. Would happily return and strongly recommend!"

  • Blue Ginger Beautiful!

"What a wonderful getaway! We had a similar experience to one of the other guests whereas our original trip was delayed due to 2 hurricanes passing over the Hawaiian Islands last August. Kathy was quick to offer us a full refund and the best of luck with whatever our alternative honeymoon plans ended up to be. Luckily, earlier this month, we were able to take the missed trip and rebook with Kathy. The house was quaint and charming and full of comfort items. Plenty of linens and towels and fun gear for picnicking, the beach or any other outdoor getaway we choose. The kitchen was fully equipped for making meals of any size which we made good use of along with the spotless grill out on the patio. We felt welcomed and comfortable as soon as we arrived by the basket of fresh fruit, beautiful flower arrangements and the fixings for the best cup of coffee we have ever had. Though its true the traffic can be heard the beautiful ocean view and tropical landscaped yard seems to help that aspect seem like a small issue. The Shrimp Shack and Keneke's are both in walking distance and have excellent food! They both offer very unique dining experiences and if you have a car North Shore Taco's is worth the 10 minute drive north. If we are ever blessed enough to get back to Oahu we will be looking to book with Kathy & Blue Ginger!"
