  • On top of the world!

"We absolutely loved our stay in this penthouse suite. It was above and beyond what we expected, right down to the comfortable couches and designer touches. The unobstructed view of the oceans and the mountains was especially peaceful. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back next year! Mahalo Steve & Julie"

  • K & E

"We are just back from a fantastic stay on Oahu, including 4 days here. We loved the view, the sounds of the waves and palm trees, the steady breezes, being steps from the beach (saw a turtle close to shore, a moray eel, and small fish when we went out a good ways snorkeling), and the proximity to the Pupukea and Haleiwa. We hated to leave! Made good use of the kitchen for eating in and packing picnics; it's great to have a stove, not just a microwave like many places. Didn't use the outdoor shared grills but saw others enjoying them. Would happily return and strongly recommend!"

  • Blue Ginger Beautiful!

"What a wonderful getaway! We had a similar experience to one of the other guests whereas our original trip was delayed due to 2 hurricanes passing over the Hawaiian Islands last August. Kathy was quick to offer us a full refund and the best of luck with whatever our alternative honeymoon plans ended up to be. Luckily, earlier this month, we were able to take the missed trip and rebook with Kathy. The house was quaint and charming and full of comfort items. Plenty of linens and towels and fun gear for picnicking, the beach or any other outdoor getaway we choose. The kitchen was fully equipped for making meals of any size which we made good use of along with the spotless grill out on the patio. We felt welcomed and comfortable as soon as we arrived by the basket of fresh fruit, beautiful flower arrangements and the fixings for the best cup of coffee we have ever had. Though its true the traffic can be heard the beautiful ocean view and tropical landscaped yard seems to help that aspect seem like a small issue. The Shrimp Shack and Keneke's are both in walking distance and have excellent food! They both offer very unique dining experiences and if you have a car North Shore Taco's is worth the 10 minute drive north. If we are ever blessed enough to get back to Oahu we will be looking to book with Kathy & Blue Ginger!"

  • Very nice unit and location

"We spent almost 2 weeks here and found it to be perfect for us. The view from the 6th floor is fantastic (sunrises every morning and 1 incredible full moon rising at night). Before the trip, Lisa was a pleasure to communicate with very helpful. We were fortunate to meet her one day too...a very nice surprise. After arriving at the condo parking lot, a friendly security person helped by showing us where the key was located (and how to open the box) and gave us directions to the local market (Tamura's) a few miles away. (Lisa also told us about Papa Ole's near Tamura's....very good food!) The condo was very clean and everything thing you'll need for preparing your own meals (and much more) is available. And the fridge has a nice supply of condiments and seasonings to get you started. The reason we liked the location was because it's away from the crowds and city traffic. But, everyone will need to realize that, if you want to play tourist and see the Oahu sites and attractions, you're going to be driving a distance for them and you'll likely be in traffic. But that's the situation wherever you stay on Oahu if you want to travel around the island. Recommendation for a nice beach we found by accident is Sherwood Forest (Kalanianaole Hwy in Waimanalo (look for the gate across from the Honolulu Polo Club). We highly recommend this property!"
