"If you are expecting a 5 star resort...keep looking...if you like a rustic, private beach cottage...then this is the place. The cottage is clean and has every thing you would need. The house does need a little TLC-but one has to realize that being on the windward side of the island can take a toll on houses- the salt air is not kind. The daily breezes through the house are wonderful. It would help if there was a screen on the door to the ocean side...but not a big factor.
We had a hard time leaving...we loved the little yard and went on nightly beach walks. The view is amazing!
This is a great location to go sightseeing- you are not too far from it all but away from the tourist chaos. We visited Pearl Harbor, hiked the Hauula Loop (great views!!), surfed the North Shore, and flew in a powered hang glider (a must do!!!! Use Paradise Air-they are top notch!!!) We had a really hard time leaving this little slice of paradise. Would love to return for longer one day!
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. It gave us the "bug" to want to move to Hawaii!"

"Comfortable and somewhat rural location. Convenient to the Polynsian cultural center and north shore beaches (we really enjoyed Sharks Cove). No a/c but the fans worked well. Owner was quick to respond and pleasant to qork with. SUNRISES WERE FABULOUS!"

"We have absolutely no interest in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and the surrounding areas. This is why we chose this location for our 9 day stay, and we weren't disappointed. No crowds, no traffic, and a beautiful beach right behind the unit with only a handful of visitors a day. We chose to have breakfast and a few dinners in, so after a small grocery run at the Foodland up the road, we were able lightly stock the full size fridge, and prepare several meals in the well appointed kitchen (and grill steaks one night at the outside gas grill). Outside temps and humidity was unusually high (local news even said so) for this time of year so the ceiling fans and floor fans got a lot of use. We also spent a lot of time romping around in the surf and then relaxing in the pool. Being on California time, we were up early every morning to watch the sunrise with our morning coffee, which is unique to the windward side of the island (sunsets are overrated, LOL!). Not being our first time on Oahu, we didn't do a lot of exploring, rather we visited all of our favorite locales, beaches and restaurants. At the end of the day, bed was comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were clean, everything we used worked, and parking is only about 20 steps from the front door. Gosh, I wish we were back there now! Mahalo for the memories. A hui hou kakou..."

"We had a very good and relaxing vacation. The condo was very clean and efficient. Everything you needed was there. We spend every evening on the patio enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves. Then when we went to bed was blessed with very comfortable beds. Will do this again and I hope soon.
God bless and thank you so much.
