  • Pat's at Punalu'u

"Great location, well stocked with kitchen and beach items. It does get a little loud with traffic noise from the road. The solution is to sleep on the comfy couches in the living room. We put them together to make a great bed. This place is very close to the Polynesian Cultural Center, a must see for your North Shore stay!"

  • Everything we needed and more!

"Had a wonderful one-week long stay at Heidi's fabulous 2nd floor condo. The unit itself was equipped with everything we needed-- from a coffee maker, to a comfortable bed, to washer & dryer, full kitchen, and a HUGE patio with a stunning, unobstructed view of the ocean. The location is quiet and peaceful-- 45 minutes from downtown Waikiki, and just 15-20 minutes from Haleiwa on the North Shore. Even though it's not located very close to much exciting action, we still loved how peaceful and quiet the spot was. One of our best memories of the trip was waking up each morning to take a walk on the beach as the sun came up-- we had the whole place to ourselves and it was just magical! I recommend HeidiHawaii's condos for anyone/couple/family who was looking for a peaceful condo, from which to 'jump off' and explore the rest of the island. If you're looking to party-- stay in Waikiki. If want to wake up every morning to the sounds of crashing waves, you want to leisurely cook your own breakfast, go for a stroll on an (almost) private beach, and generally take it easy-- check out Heidi's."

  • Can't wait to get back to the North Shore!

"What a great stay. This unit is on an almost secluded beach. We kept track and the most people we ever shared "our" beach with was 5. We saw a woman training a horse one morning, tons of little crabs, and a great place to swim. The building is older, I would even describe it as a bit run down but the unit is really, really nice. Even though the building is showing its age, there were people doing maintenance or cleaning outside every single day. The apartment has literally everything you need. The washer/dryer was awesome to dry our swimsuits everyday. There is a full kitchen with every possible cooking utensil you can think of. We happened to be there on a very, very hot week. It would have been nice to have central air but with the windows open and the fans going it was fine. We did hear some noise from the neighbors upstairs but it wasn't a big deal. There are two markets within a 3-6 minute walk from the unit. Be sure to check out Too Bald Guys, awesome. If you drive the other direction there is a grocery store not to far. Be sure to check out Papa Ole's. Emmanuel was great, you have to read the directions, he tells you absolutely everything you need to know. We got up every morning at 5AM to see the sun rise, amazing. I can't wait to return!"

  • My heart remains in Hawaii

"To the owners and caretaker of this property. Thank You. Everything was perfect for our two week stay. You all go above and beyond for your visitors. We could have peace and quite when we wanted it, all the site seeing and excitement is near by. We would recommend your property to anyone wishing for a great place to stay. The view off the lanai is beyond beautiful. One of the attractions we enjoyed the most was the Chiefs Luau, so much so we went twice. When we are able to come back you will be the first people we contact. Be well Darlene"

Punaluu Travel Tips

Get Your Slice of Heaven: Punaluu Vacation Rentals

Punaluu vacation rentals are located in a relatively quiet and thinly populated area on the North Shore of Oahu. There is, however, a year round population of green sea turtles on Punaluu beach, which is quite distinct as it is a black sand beach. There are also nearby marshlands that are home to exotic species of birds. Solitude, sea turtles, black sand beaches, and gorgeous birds: this may truly be a slice of heaven.

Punaluu Vacation Rentals Offer the Perfect Private Getaway

For people who lead busy lives and spend many of their days working with many other people and interacting with groups of people, solitude is sometimes the best treat. Punaluu vacation rentals can offer solitude and peace to the weary. In fact, the town only has one small commercial center. Otherwise, the area is quiet with few people but a great deal of wonderful nature to appreciate. Punaluu vacation rentals come in all sizes, for people who just want to get away by themselves as well as people who are traveling in larger groups.

Punaluu Condos: Perfect 'for Medium and Small Travel Groups'

Not everyone needs to stay in one of the big, sprawling North Shore Oahu beach rentals. Punaluu condos are great for groups of two to five people. They are usually perfect for couples and smaller families. Sometimes, couples vacationing together will rent adjacent Punaluu condos instead of splitting North Shore Oahu beach rentals.

For larger groups, there are much bigger North Shore Oahu beach rentals that can comfortably sleep over one dozen people. This larger size is best for big families, large traveling groups, and family reunions. For people who need even more space, it is sometimes possible to rent large adjacent houses that can accommodate numerous branches of the family.
