Paradise on the North Shore
"My family and I just returned from another visit to this beautiful getaway. So close to North Shore beaches, you can get your fill of surf sessions daily. Its seclusion from the other beach houses on the NS really makes this house prime real estate. Updated interior and A/V system makes it equally enjoyable to just sit and relax. And with a great view of the sunset, make sure you make it home in time for a Primo on the deck.
Mahalo to Lenae and Lori for being such great hosts and sharing their little slice of heaven."

"I just stayed here for a week with 13 other family members, to include a 2 yr old and five other children, and couldn't have asked for a better house/location. The house met all our expectations and provided the perfect spot for a family vacation. You pretty much have your own private beach in the backyard with a nice little shore break in the summer months that the kids had a blast playing in for hours at a time. Right out back are two nice surf breaks that you can surf when it's good as well. When you come back to the house you have the jacuzzi to relax and warm up if you happen to get a bit chilly. The yard was perfect for the kids to kick/throw balls around and have a great time when they weren't swimming. The kitchen had everything we needed and we managed to eat almost all of our meals at home together. The house is big enough that you aren't on top of each other and there is plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed. You are close to Waimea, Turtle Bay, Shark's Cove, Zipline and the town of Haleiwa for shopping when needed. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation at an amazing beach away from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded beaches elsewhere."

"My family stayed at this lovely home during the middle of June for 12 days. The location of being on the North Shore is superb being just a couple blocks from Sharks Cove and the Grocery store. My buddy and I snorkeled and also went Scuba Diving at Sharks Cove nearly every day. I was so skeptical of which area of the Island had the best snorkeling and it is indeed the Sharks Cove location. You must do it, so much marine life compared to other locations and costly boat tours due to that it is a vast protective sanctuary and FREE.
The location is what really gives this house its 5 star rating. I didn't even sleep in the my assigned back bedroom and opted to sleep out in the living room area or even on the deck as just hearing the crashing waves throughout the night, just 100 feet away was AMAZING. The weather each day was Amazing, not too hot and not too humid where it allowed the house to cool down at night with all the windows open and the breeze coming through the massive patio doors.
Each night the group of 8 would entertain out on the deck, watching the Sunset come in and also watch the numerous weddings right out front on the beach during the weekends at Sunset.
The house itself is nice and for the costs in comparison in what three hotel rooms would be, it's well worth the price. I will say that it's not perfect though, but what is perfect? With such a large group of people we cooked a lot of our nightly meals at the house, but ran into issues with not having enough or adequate cookware and utensils. As the house serves many larger families, I would like to see property management keep tabs and introduce some higher quality kitchen items and in reality it's just basic stuff, such as perhaps a Grill/BBQ set? The poor quality spatula’s weren't even sturdy enough to flip a burger without experiencing high heat on your hands with trouble in picking up the food, no Pizza cutter, until we bought one. There could be a bit more plastic bowls for large groups and preferably a much larger stock pot. If you're only planning on cooking for 4-6 people, it will be fine, though a full group of 8 with traditional cooking was complicated at times. HOWEVER, it is not a reason to NOT stay in this absolutely fabulous house and its tropical theme. Sure there are more moderns houses right down to the left, but without that true tropical/paradise feeling and if you're going to go to the North Shore you need to stay somewhere that's fun and paradise like."

"WOW we were sooo pleasantly pleased when we got to the house! It was better than the pictures; clean, beautiful views, bedding/bathrooms immaculate and ready to enjoy. The owners were amazing to work with....answered our questions, took care of any issues immediately and always very pleasant. We WILL be back and DEFINITELY rent from them again. Thank you for making our family vacation such an awesome experience. :) PS AND we always felt totally safe."
