  • Flexible - no worries!

"Much to my chagrin we arrived one day early and were welcomed with 'no worries' The accommodations had everything we needed. Great location, we walked or rode bikes to the beaches, grocery store and bakery. If you are looking for a low key, restful stay the North shore and these accommodations are perfect. We hope to be back next year - on time."

  • Right on the Beach!! Are you Kidding Me? Fantastic!

"What a location. The cottage was exactly as described, not that we spent much time inside. I would have been happy to pitch a tent on this property, the cottage was a bonus. I found the property manager very easy to deal with right from the time of my inquiry and the maintenance bloke (Chuck) was more like a good mate who you'd be happy to take on vacation with your family. Nothing was too much trouble for this bloke, from surf lessons for my daughters to moving garden furniture to make things more comfortable. Loved meeting your brother and sister too mate. Loved the Place! Cheers."

  • Great family accommodations

"I, my husband, and 8 y-o son spent Thanksgiving week here, and had a great time. So nice to be able to walk to the beach, especially during Vans Triple Crown. Ted's Bakery was handy, too -- they serve meals all day, as well as baked goods. We thought we'd rent bikes, but never got around to it. There is a bike path next to the highway, all the way to Waimea Bay. I really like being in a residential neighborhood when I'm traveling -- makes it feel like home. And having a kitchen for cooking and packing up a picnic lunch really saves on the food bill. I even made a little Thanksgiving dinner! Be sure to give Foodland your phone # for kama'aina rates. I sometimes missed having a microwave in the kitchen. And the boom-box got radio reception fine, but the CD player was not working. But those are minor issues. Tradewinds through the open (screened) windows was really nice. Birdsong every morning. We could faintly hear highway traffic. And the whole neighborhood is quiet by 10:00 p.m. Bill and Kamala were accommodating and friendly. You feel like family friends staying here."

  • nice place for a crowd

"As with the other reviews, the owner is very helpful with organizing the house and keeps in contact till you get there, The Manager was just great, so helpful with information about the area & if I mentioned anything we needed, next day it was there, and this was around Christmas time too. There were 9 adults in our family and the house fitted us all in quite comfortably and there were plenty of bathrooms for us all. It is an older house and we had some issues with a fan, and some lights, not sure if it was fixed. But overall it was a great place to stay, much nicer than staying in the city, would love to go back THANKS GUYS"
