Excellent North shore cottage on the beach
"This was a great stay ON the beach in the North Shore. Waves were great, caretaker (Chuck) helped us with local knowledge and made our stay wonderful!!! He was very friendly and made us feel like best buds right from the beginning. Chickens on the property were fun and kept the bugs down. Love the place and location. The cottage is quant and has all needed amenities. Private parking was also a plus. It made us feel like being home and this was our 4th time here. The remodel work was excellent while still keeping the cottage motif. Would reccommend to all....much better than a hotel in Honolulu....really gives you the Aloha feel."

"My husband & I came to Hawaii to celebrate our 10th wedding anniv. The loft was recommended by my friend. The loft is the perfect location, close to beach access, Ted's Bakery and the BEST food trucks anywhere! Rainey is really nice, and she leaves a basket of the yummiest fruits. We are definitely coming back to stay here on our next trip!"

"I rented this house with my boyfriend and we just loved it. The house is in a gated community , so no noise, the beach is gorgeous and peaceful and my boyfriend could surf while I just laid back . Sunset beach, Turtle Bay, all the other beaches are just minute away. The bike path , is right there , so I would recommend riding a bike while on the North Sore. The process of booking the house was super easy and Sabrina was always there to answer our questions , and she even gave us really nice suggestions on where to go , or what to do. The house itself is super clean and it has everything you need. I would come back tomorrow if I could !!"

"Words can not describe just how great this place is. We loved everything about it. The location is great and the house is too.
We stayed with 4 adults and one child and found ample space. There is a port a cot which was great for our little one. The rooms are very spacious and 2 bathrooms made it easier. The beds were very comfortable. It was quite warm when we stayed and found the airflow through the house and the fans enough and closing the curtains at the right time of day as suggested.
The kitchen had everything you could imagine, there is a large Foodland just down the road, so we BBQ'd most nights. I can highly recommend some of the food trucks, just outside of Ke Iki Rd Sandy's Sandwiches a small blue caravan has the best sandwiches I have ever had. Just out from of Sharks Cove the Blue Elephant Thai feels like you are in Thailand and North Shore Tacos serve the best burrito I have ever had. The location has everything to offer in walking distance.
There is a fair amount of water equipment which was helpful. There were water shoes that came in handy swimming down at Sharks Cove. Boogie boards and beach chairs that were perfect when we swam at Waimea Bay. There is even a stroller that we made good use of for the little one. There is a bike track right out front and 2 bikes supplied, its a lovely ride along the beach front.
The yard is fully fenced, which for us with a young child was perfect, he could play without any worries. We particularly enjoyed gecko and anole watching being reptile enthusiasts. The neighbourhood is quiet and the neighbours were lovely. There is very little highway noise.
There are many beaches to choose from some within walking distance and some just a short drive away. There is so much to do on the North Shore. 1 week just didn't seem long enough.
We have visited Hawaii a 6 times now and always stayed in Waikiki, this was by far our best holiday so far, it was perfect no complaints at all."
