"A wonderful place to stay on the North Shore. A very comfortable and well appointed home. In addition -lot of supplies for the beach-so you are set! The home is within walking distance to Sharks Cove, Foodland, several food trucks, and, of course, beautiful Ke'iki Beach. There is a Viking/running trail right outside the door and some great hikes nearby. We loved our time some much last year that we came back this year!"

"Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights when we visited the north shore. Right from the get go, George and Kathy were so helpful and nice, George recommended places to eat, surf, snorkel and tour. The space was so clean and well taken care of, we loved the balcony to have our morning coffee on. They supply bikes, snorkel gear, boogie boards and beach chairs. It is in the perfect location, the beach is a 2 minute walk across the street, and very close to foodland, the coffee bean, and numerous food trucks. We spent a lot of time at sharks cove (5 min walk) and watched the sunset on sunset beach, which we drove to and it took 3 mins. Definitely will recommend this place, and will stay again when we visit!! mahalo george and kathy!!"

"Just finished a girls week in Hawaii. We loved this house. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. Stocked with snorkel gear, beach towels and mats, and everything we could have needed in the kitchen. We loved that the beach was so close, and just a short walk down it there were really good body boarding waves and a little less coral, plus a small bathtub beach area for the baby. We saw a Hawaiian monk seal sunning himself right out on our beach one afternoon. The outdoor shower with the option for hot water was such a luxury. It gets a bit hot, but there are many fans, which made it more tolerable. Theres a Foodland and coffee shop 2 miles down the road across from sharks cove (a great place to snorkel) and a Thai food truck close by too. Parking was a bit tight for our minivan, but that seemed to be the case most places we tried to park the beast. With the threat of a hurricane and possible flight cancelation, we were offered to extend our stay, which gave us peace of mind. All in all I would totally stay here again."

"The beach house was peaceful, well stocked with plenty of equipment in kitchen, a short stroll to beaches, and with off street parking you share with the owners. Outdoor shower was useful for rinsing sand off or as an extra shower in your bathing suit. Outdoor seating was nice for dining on the lanai. Ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms helped circulate air and keep it cool with all windows open. Beds were comfortable. Washer and dryer was definitely a helpful amenity. Many condiments and pantry items were left by previous guests for our use. Bev and Gary were generous with information and shared coffee, snacks, and their beach gear. They were truly welcoming.
Things that would improve guests experience:
Curtains were a pain to open and close and definitely need to be washed. A thorough cleaning of this lovely cottage would help make your stay more inviting. The bbq grill is in dangerous disrepair. Gas flames come out of only one side and there was enough grease in the grill to cause a grease fire in the bbq the first time we used it. Our steaks were scorched on one side and raw on the other due to clogged gas holes. I did not see a fire extinguisher near the grill to protect this lovely home.
We were glad we didn't need to sleep on futon since it was uncomfortable just sitting on it. The living room is in need of comfortable furniture. This house sleeps four comfortably, maybe 6 if you can ignore the lumpy futon. DVD player did not work and we were not able to watch movies we brought.
Lastly, we would gladly return to this pleasant location if the items above were taken care of."
