Stunning North Shore Beach House!!
"My husband and I stayed in this fantastic beach house for 7 unforgettable nights in July 2015. We were actually only supposed to stay for 5 nights, but luckily the house was available and we extended for 2 more nights! The house itself is immaculate and is in an ideal location on the North Shore! The proximity to the beach and the ocean is truly awesome, right in your backyard!! The views from pretty much everywhere in the house are superb. Even when you are not on the beach, you are at the beach! Glenn has provided everything you could need... well stocked kitchen, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, bikes and more! The house is gated, very secure and really private. It was really nice to be able to park our car in the garage as well. There are houses on each side, but as other reviewers have said, the "foliage walls" on one side and stone wall on the other give you tons of privacy. We absolutely loved going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the crashing waves, soooo relaxing. Glenn was awesome to deal with from beginning to end. I was very impressed with his professionalism and prompt responses any time I contacted him. I scoured the internet for days searching for the perfect house on the North Shore and I found it! You won't believe your eyes when you walk through the door and I promise you will never want to leave! You will not regret choosing this house. Thank you for everything Glenn!!! We hope to come back someday!

"We have been looking for the perfect beachfront house in Oahu for several years and are thrilled that we have found it! We come frequently to visit our son and his family and long since fell in love with the North Shore. On this particular trip, my husband and I brought our toddler granddaughter to Lucille's cottage for 5 days. We could not have asked for a more perfect spot! The house has so much family history and the aloha love for this bungalow is evident! We felt so at home immediately -- the decor is old school Hawaiian charm combined with all the modern "necessities" one may need. The kitchen is well equipped (We love to cook and are picky about this), the beds are comfy, beach chairs and towels are provided. Besides the fact that the view and sunsets are spectacular, the family has perfected the art of lounging and comfort with the outdoor and indoor punees, indoor and outdoor dining, and the hammock! But the outdoor shower may take the cake! Why shower inside a shower stall when one can enjoy the privacy and convenience of this shower!? Our granddaughter thought it was great fun and it ended the battle over a bath each day! The surf was especially high as it is winter, and the sea spray was ever-present when the winds picked up. We loved every moment -- walked down to Pipeline to see the surfers -- grabbed lunch at The Daily Grind truck just past there -- and took trips into Haleiwa as well as Thursday night Farmer's Market in Waimea Valley. But the house and the lanai would always call us back and we were quite content to stay there. Thank you for sharing this wonderful ohana, we have great respect for your family's ability to keep the old Hawaiian charm."

"This looked very bright and clean and near the water for a very reasonable amount. I was not disappointed when we arrived. It was wonderful watching and listening to the waves crash on the beach. It was nice and clean and easy to keep cool with all the ceiling fans. Even after closing up during the heat of the day, when we returned, by just opening the windows and doors, it cooled instantly. It was fun to see the first surfer start and the last one leave. My first stay in Hawaii and I am so glad we stayed on the North Shore. We had to stay on Waikiki for his business part of the trip and there was no comparison. This placed spoiled me for the rest of the trip. No more waves to put me to sleep at night. I found I prefer the country side of the island instead of the "city" part. I was thrilled to be that close to the ocean and so glad we spent our first part there."

"Wow. The location of this property is spectacular - I can not imagine how anything could be better. There is a broad, clean beach just outside the gate, and the sound of vigorous surf fills the house and provides your 24/7 sound track. During our late February visit the ocean was filled with whales, seemingly waving to us from just offshore. While surfers were plentiful at the nearby public access points (and easily visible for "surfer watching"), the beach in front of us was so empty it felt almost private. This is a paradise I would definitely visit again. A note on the property - the cottage is delightful in it's simplicity and lack of ostentation. For us, an extended family of 3 adult couples and an older mother/ mother-in-law, the configuration of two separate cottages on on property was perfect."
