Perfect location - Perfect hosts!
"It is with a certain reluctance that we write this review since we fear it might make this perfect Rocky Point beachfront property unavailable next time we want to stay here - but in all fairness to our wonderful hosts, we feel we should share our thoughts. Where to start....this is a very comfortable, clean, airy apartment - just steps from the beach with an enclosed parking spot (a wonderful bonus on the busy north shore) a washer and dryer in the apartment - no need to over-pack, and hosts who are gracious and considerate of your privacy. There is also a full kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower, cable TV and CD player. But, again, most importantly, mere steps to the beach - and the sound of the ocean to lull you to sleep. But please - don't book it when we want to be there!"

"Just close enough to everything that you don't really even need a car, but far enough away from it all that you really feel like you are getting out into the quiet country. I have stayed here twice in the last two years during January. The first time was a deep personal retreat, and this apartment is the right place for lots of yoga, reading, and sleeping with its quietness, and soothing filtered light. Keiki beach lies just across the street for many long beach walks and swims and meditations. This beach has beauty to rival any in the world and feels fairly private compared to many other beaches on Oahu. I love watching the surf and surfers here during surf season.
My second trip I brought a my boyfriend and ventured out a bit more from the North Shore in a car rental, and this apartment was always such a welcoming place to return to after a day of adventure around Oahu.
We enjoyed just going to the beach in the evenings after dinner to bask in the glow of gorgeous sunsets (of course! it’s Hawaii, right?).
All the amenities you need are right here: full kitchen with amenities, snorkeling gear (great snorkeling nearby), bikes, washer/dryer, BBQ, and the hosts even have guidebooks for any interest you may have. I especially like the extra refreshing outdoor shower (there is one inside too).
I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and i will be there again next year!"

Your house was perfect; clean, comfortable, roomy and with direct access to a private beach. The house was equipped with everything you need including boogie boards, sand toys, chairs and a fishing rod. There were lots of activities and shopping close by which added to the enjoyment of our stay. Anyone wanting to enjoy Oahu and be away from the typical tourist crowd this is the perfect place to stay.
Thanks Jim for your hospitality."

"We did about half a week at the SUNSET HALE (after doing about half a week at a VRBO in Waikiki). This place totally personifies what I expected a Hawaii trip to be: relaxing, private, close to (but not directly on) Sunset beach (excellent beach for relaxing and surfing/watching surfers), near several food options (as well as close to grocery store). Alia is the host, and genuinely cares about the quality of her guest experience. Some added perks that aren't available most other places: A couple of goats (quiet but nearby), many visiting birds, the sound of crashing waves about a half block away, and plenty of furniture/internet/TV for reading, the "other" surfing, or just killing time as you might at home! You can be as alone as you want to be ... or walk to the beach to join others ... or take a short drive to Waimea or Haleiwa for excellent food/experiences. SO MUCH BETTER than an expensive stay at Turtle Bay."
