Loving the North Shore
"Our adult family group of 7 stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the lanai was incredible and the sunsets were more amazing each night. Booking this accommodation was relatively easy from Australia and reassuring when it was through a real estate agency. The house had everything you could possibly need. It was clean on arrival and we utilised the washing facilities. There was so much to see and do in the North Shore area. The Foodland was also very handy. The only down side was the sofa beds that need upgrading as we had to place the mattress on the floor. We were also able to see North Shore photographer Clark Little at work straight out the front when the first winter swell rolled in- amazing as we were already fans and familiar with his work and yes, we did get selfies with him! Overall a great stay at a great location at a great time of year!"

"We loved every minute of our most recent surf trip to the North Shore. This unit is smack dab in the middle of the all the action. We took a short pedal (bikes provided) to Sunset Beach to watch the HIC pro event. The Foodland is within walking distance if you are in need of an Ono Pop (best whole-fruit popsicle around). On flatter surf days, we walked to Sharks Cove for top-notch snorkeling (gear provided, if you need it), plus, we hit the Waimea Farmers' Market every Wednesday (we took our car to load up on fresh veggies and Link's bacon and sausages, but you could easily ride a bike). Not a surfer? Winter wave watching on the North Shore is awesome.
The unit is well kept, clean and simple. The kitchen has all the basic supplies plus a few extras like a rice maker and a blender. The living room is comfortable with enough space for two yoga mats to stretch after surfing. The unit is bright and breezy. The owners are friendly and happy to help."

"Upon entering the house we were really impressed - it was super clean and tidy, private and secure, and had a great spot along a truly stunning beach. It was only moments to Pipeline and Ted's Bakery in one direction, and food trucks, Foodland and Haleiwa Town in the other. (Haleiwa being a 10-15 min drive - Banzai Sushi Bar a must!) The beds were comfy and linen and towels and beach chairs clearly updated since a previous review. Kitchen was really well equipped and the BBQ got a good workout during our stay. We had an issue with the TV at one point which was quickly responded to with a personal visit - the entertainment system does seem over complicated though. Another bike or two would have been good to cater for our party of five - additional bikes can be hired just down the road though. We enjoyed many sunset drinks on the massive balcony. It's a pity you can't see the break from the outdoor lounge though, we became quite envious of the surrounding houses elevated balconies. Can't complain too much though - it wasn't hard to take a chair down onto the beach! All in all we had a great and relaxing stay and saw some massive surf (too dangerous for swimming but spectacular to watch). It was pricey but properties at Christmas were hard to come by - particularly right on the beach. I loved the North Shore and I'll be back."
