  • Beautiful home on the beach

"Beautiful home right on the beach - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We saw turtles offshore near the concrete pipe everyday. You can swim close to the house, though the water wasn't clear enough to snorkel while we were there. We drove to Shark's Cove and snorkeled there -what a great experience - get there early or you won't find parking! Fun, casual restaurants in Haleiwa - we loved Kua Aina, Ted's Bakery, Breakers and Haleiwa Joe's. Had a great time with the guys at North Shore Shark Adventures - got to see some sharks. It was windy and the water got really rough later on, so I recommend the early tours."

"This little cottage on the North shore had everything we could have needed or wanted. This was the first stop on our 3 month trip from Australia and it was perfect in everyway!! Wayne the owner was extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips on places to go and things to see. Wish we had stayed longer.....hopefully we will be back soon :)"

  • Private Paradise

"We rented this home for our trip to the North Shore during Spring Break. It was the perfect place for us. We arrived in the middle of the night. Pat was there to greet us and gave us the opportunity to inspect her property and make certain it was to our satisfaction. The next morning she came in and gave us an overview of the house rules, safety matters and an overall welcome. We had two teenagers with us and while all of us are familiar with beach living; she was certain to let us know local tips for safety, house rules and generally answer any questions we might have. She gave us everything we needed while never being intrusive. We had the ocean view ever before us with the last of the spring whales spouting in the distance. Binoculars were on-hand to see them going by in their pods. The house is comfortable and well -appointed. We loved the kitchen which has a nice Wolfe range and top-end appliances for morning coffee and breakfasts. Literally, anything we needed or wanted for food preparation was there except the food! You can get to Waiamea, Rocky Point, Shark's Cove in 10 or 15 minutes to enjoy eateries, shopping and various beach spots and then return home to quiet privacy, a nice heated pool and the sounds of the surf lulling you. We rented bikes for the two boys and they rode into town whenever they wanted staying on the bike path for much of the way! At night, we could light the tiki torch on the balcony and enjoy a romantic dinner. It was well worth it to us to pay a little more for this luxury than to stay in a hotel room with it's two double beds, small quarters and crowded common areas; we enjoyed privacy, beauty and serenity. The artwork in the home is also notable for those of us who enjoy the enhancement of thoughtful design. The outside shower was also fantastic. We all often showered out there as there's privacy and it was stocked with bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. It was a nice change! Although, the indoor bathrooms are all available also. We recommend this home and would definitely come back. As I'm writing this review, I'm wondering when we'll return. Aloha!"

  • A Wonderful Place

"A terrific experience in Hawaii, in large part due to the great accommodations. We had the pleasure of staying and Mark and Jane's Condo in December, 2014. The accommodations were excellent and the condo was well equipped. This included everything from the kitchen to beach towels, snorkels and flippers. The owners clearly spend time here and it shows. The building has a limited number of units and the walls are concrete. The result is very pleasant and peaceful Hawaiian experience. Mahalo The immaculate and quiet beach accessed from the condo is superb. We spend a terrific amount of time walking for miles, swimming with the turtles (not too close) and admiring the fish. We even had a Monk Seal rest upon the beach, which was a particular treat. Located in the North Shore of Oahu, this condo is minutes from town as well as from terrific hikes and other attractions. We rented a car and they provided us with a parking stall as part of the rental. That helped a great deal as we were then able to explore the island as well. We highly recommend this condo and are grateful to the hosts for sharing it with us."
