  • Sea Turtles Every Day

"The condo was very comfortable for the three of us in a nice friendly neighborhood. We loved the short walk to the beach where we saw turtles every day. One day we counted ten! The beds were very comfortable and it's great to have the bedrooms separate from the kitchen and and living room. The second bedroom's window faces a wall so it's a bit dark in there during the day but great for sleeping. We made good use of beach chairs, beach mats and left behind additional snorkel gear. :) Loved have laundry facilities right in the unit, and cooking our own breakfast. If you do not want to cook there is an awesome bakery if you take a right at the round about from the condo and get tasty malasadas for breakfast."

  • Waialua Dream of Aloha

"Welcome to Hawaii!!! This condo speaks volumes of the spirit of Aloha. When we walked through the door, the evidence was in every room. The beautiful furnishings, the appliances, the works of gorgeous art, books--everything was wonderful. We appreciated the security--the gated parking, elevators, pool, hot tub, exercise room. All of the amenities were just a few steps away from the unit. Everything was exactly as stated in in the VRBO website. The hosts were very accomodating and provided us with all and any information we would possibly need concerning the condo, the condo complex, and the surrounding area. This was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were. Any supplies one would possibly need were available. There are many things to do in the area: many beaches to explore, hike, sail plane rides, bi-plane rides, sky diving, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, shopping, dining, snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding. The Kualoa Ranch and the Polynesian Cultural Center were great! We shopped at the farmer's market on Saturdays. We spent many hours on the lanai; relaxing, reading, playing Scrabble with our daughter and grandson who visited for two weeks. Our favorite beach was right in front of the condo, just a few steps away! We watched the sea turtles make their daily swim to their favorite place to eat. Public transportation is available (The Bus) just a block away. Maps and schedules are available at the Waialua public library. If you are looking for a place on the North Shore to relax, go to sleep every night to the sound of the waves, watch gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, watch the sea turtles, shop in unique boutiques and art galleries in nearby Haleiwa, eat Matsumoto's famed shaved ice, eat wonderful shrimp from the shrimp trucks and meet and mingle with very friendly people in the condo complex and everywhere--this is the place for you!"

  • Small but very cozy cottage

"Anna Banana's country cottage is small but have all the essentials you need for a pleasant and cozy stay. The cottage was nicely furbished and clean and the owner provided us with all the essential information to make our stay hassle-free. I would recommend this property to people who spend their holidays outdoors and therefore don't need large space indoors."

  • Waialua Retreat review

"We recently returned from our 2nd stay at this wonderful vacation home in paradise. And that is exactly how you feel when you're here...comfy at your own home in paradise! Our 1st vacation stay was in 2012, and this beautiful home still has all the conveniences you would want, and then some. Kayaks & life vests, snorkeling gear, a hot tub, hammocks, BBQ grill, a grassy back yard, comfy beds, plenty of pillows & blankets, air conditioning in the bedrooms, etc., etc., etc. This home is extremely clean, kept-up and cared for...and it shows inside and out. You would think that the owner lived here all the time. Because the house is in a residential neighborhood, the beach (which is about 30 steps from the deck) is almost like your own private're not sharing it with hundreds of other people like when you stay at an expensive & tiny one bedroom hotel in Waikiki. The North Shore is quiet and clean, with plenty to do. Art galleries, restaurants, shrimp trucks, grocery & drug stores, souvenirs (sea shells, t-shirts, everything Hawaii), the Polynesian Cultural Center and more. The "Big Wave" shrimp truck (in town) was even featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives...don't miss their great garlic shrimp! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the huge deck, watching the whales jump straight-up out of the water, followed by a huge didn't even need binoculars to see them. Hanging with the sea turtles as the lay on the beach, watching the surfers do their thing, and grilling fresh fish for dinner made for many wonderful days & evenings. There is even a little pizza place (with good pizza, pasta & salads) that has live entertainment on weekends (in the shopping area across from the Old Sugar Mill shopping area). Don't hesitate to book this gem of a vacation'll love it here! The home is large enough for numerous friends or families to share...without being on top of each other. And a special thanks to Jamie for being there and having everything ready for our arrival. Now all we have to do is figure out when we can schedule our next stay. Mahalo!!!!!!!
