  • Great Place to stay

"We stayed for 10 days and love it. The cottage was as described. Very quiet. Just a short drive to town, and all the other beaches. We had breakfast and/or lunch on the patio, while watching the ski divers. The beach was just steps away, great for snorkeling and swimming. The views are incredible. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend the Beachfront Cottage."

  • Beautiful location

"We loved our stay at the cottage. It is in a beautiful, quiet, secluded area. We had a few minor issues with our stay that had nothing to do with the actual cottage or the owners (i.e. major sidewalk and sewage maintenance work outside the cottage). As previous reviewers have stated, the real gem of this place is the proximity to the ocean. It really is absolutely stunning. I would estimate 30 feet from the seawall. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and secluded location this is a perfect place. Please note that I rated the experience as a 4 vs 5 due to the maintenance on the property (waking up to jackhammering after travelling for 18 hours regardless of the reason isn't soothing). I realize that this isn't typical of everyones stay and wasn't anything that could have been avoided but these reviews are based on our experiences and frankly, it was something that affected our stay."

  • Splendid

"3 guests = mid-50's and 2 guests = 20 years old. From the car rental agent, to the shop clerk, to the restaurant waitress, after discovering our rental location, many Island service providers expressed their North Shore approval. Neighborhood is pleasant. Home is comfortable. Shower pressure is great. Additional amenities (extra pillows etc.) in each living spaces are at your disposal and it's difficult to imagine wanting for any tool, utensil, kitchen gadget, as the kitchen is very well stocked. Snorkel gear, boogie boards, life jackets and kayak's are available (but for fear of injury, the owner chose not to give us the kayak oars - - which we wished we had, especially on the final 2-days, because the morning ocean was such a beautiful calm). Hostess/Owner, "Pat" is an organized, personable, easygoing, non-intrusive lady who's main objective was to insure that our experiences were 100% satisfactory. Nice place."

  • "Two Thumbs Up!"

"Vanessa's apartment was the perfect place for our stay in Waialua! She had everything, from a wine opener to beach chairs - And lots more in her fully furnished apartment! The location can't be beat in terms of the town of Waialua ... Close to shops, restaurants and the grocery store! Don't miss the local Farmers Market; And stop by the Cup Cake Truck! Vanessa was great in hosting her property and was easily accessible from beginning to end during our stay with any questions we had. Her apartment is a definite "MUST" if you really want a "Home Away From Home!""
