  • Very nice, secluded private, close to everything on the north shore!

"Our first visit to Hawaii, the island of Oahu, was a very pleasant and enjoyable vacation. I was unsure of where to stay and took a chance at renting through VRBO. We definitely made the right choice in staying at the Plumeria house. Very secluded and private with 2 security gates. Very relaxing and very close to great snorkeling and scenic Wiamea bay. The house has some age but is very well kept and has everything you will need during your vacation. 10 minute walk to Foodland grocery store, and they even had a $50.00 gift card to get you started! We highly recommend Tropical Waters for your Hawiian vacation."

  • Great location, beautiful rental

"You could not ask for a better place to stay on the amazing North Shore of Oahu. The unit is located within a really short walk to Three Tables (where there's shade for peak hour sun) or Shark's Cove (for snorkeling) and then a few more minutes away from the best beach, Waimea Bay. You're also close to Foodland and The Coffee Bean, and most beaches are a short drive away. The rental unit is really nice -- we thought it was even cuter in person. The bed is really comfortable and even more so with the wall a/c unit to sleep at night. The kitchen seemed well stocked for equipment and we really appreciated that beach towels, beach chairs and paper products are supplied (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags). It's very clean and well-maintained. Debbie and Derek are also great hosts -- Debbie extremely helpful to answer any questions prior to the trip and they're there if you need them during your stay (but are extremely respectful of your privacy). We will definitely look at staying here during our next trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for our family and friends."

  • Mark, Annie, and Betsy from Kansas July 15 -July29,2014

"We loved this Hideaway, It had everything we needed and wanted. Leaving was the only difficult part of our stay. We did just about everything there is to do on the north shore as well as snorkel and boogie board every day. We walked to dinner almost every night at Shark's Cove Grill and had many lunches at Pupukea grill less than one block away. The sunsets were great as were all of the beaches we spent time at testing the sand and the waters. We did go to the populated side of the island one day to visit Pearl Harbor and the Arizona, it was good to see but one day around all of those people was enough. Betsy had her senior pictures done in Haleiwa and at Sharks Cove and they are stunning, what a great experience for her! Thanks to Jack and Kimberly and Dave and Michelle for a wonderful experience, We shall return!!! Mark, Annie, and Betsy"

  • Excellent vacation over New Years Holiday

"First, I would note that the descriptions on the internet were 100% accurate, we had no surprises. The house was very nicely furnished, though as other reviewers noted, the living room furniture looked nicer than it was to use, and some of the dining room chairs are beginning to sag, but these were minor points. The three bedrooms and the two bathrooms were very comfortable. We never turned on the air conditioners, since the weather was so nice the ceiling fans and windows were all we used. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking a couple of meals, and the grill was nice to have as well. The house had bikes, beach gear and snorkeling gear to borrow which was a very nice addition as well. Other reviewers noted problems with the internet, but we had none. We didn't have any need to contact the office so I can't comment on their support, but the reservation process was very well handled. Finding the turn-off onto Ke-Iki Road was a bit tricky, suggest you try to find it the first time in the daytime. We also enjoyed being walking distance to Foodland and their coffee shop, as well as the Shark's Cover Grill food truck next door to the Foodland was convenient. All in we felt great value for the money, a awesome location you can sit four hours and watch the waves come into the beach and crash into the rocks."
