"Really 4.5... Stars... Everything was Ono...The Location...Parking...The Kitchen/Bathroom/living-room/porch...the master bedroom having an air conditioner.....It was rather hot on The North Shore 2nd week in August...5 Stars if it were just My wife & I...but we really needed to have that second room cool down more for my kids to sleep better at night..The groundskeeper was friendly & helpful..The house was well kept and the sunset views from the porch were heavenly! Booking & communication with the owners went well too. Thanks for making our vacation great!"

"We stayed in this beautiful house for 10 days and the only complaint is that it wasn't more. Incredible location, privacy gates, loads of equipment such as beach chairs, bikes, snorkel gear and boogie boards. Easy access to beautiful Ke'Iki Beach. Two fantastic outdoor showers between the houses so you didn't track sand into the house. Spent every night on the deck watching the pine trees blow in the breeze and listening to the waves on the beach. Absolutely perfect for our group of five. Can't wait to return."

"I don't know where to start in praising this wonderful home and its good and gracious owners. We spent a week of our honeymoon here and never lacked for anything - it truly was a home away from home!
Debby and Derek were always helpful and gracious, always available, but with perfect respect for privacy. We benefited much from their local knowledge of beaches, restaurants, and events.
The apartment is perfectly comfortable, with everything needed, including a full kitchen and ample bath. The outdoor shower was so wonderful we stopped using the indoor one. There is plenty of open space, comfortable couches, and quality furnishings. We loved everything about this place.
Thanks, Derek and Debby for a wonderful stay!"

"Just spent two weeks with my husband. Location is perfect for a relaxing Hawaii experience away from the crowds. Beach is literally in the backyard. Room is small but well appointed. My only wish would be for a king sized bed, but the queen is very comfortable. Owners on property but there is plenty of privacy.
We saw turtles resting on the beach with incredible sunsets every evening. My husband spent hours in the ocean searching for sea glass and we came home with quite a collection. Haleiwa is only a mile away with many restaurants and shopping options, but arrive early before the shrimp trucks sell out. Recommend Cafe Haleiwa for breakfast and Big Waves for dinner. Malama grocery store is small but has a nice selection. We used the grill many times for an oceanfront sunset dinner. Wahiawa is just 10 minutes away and the Foodland grocery store is larger with better prices.
Wifi signal is strong, TV is large and the washer and dryer are handy. Air conditioner cools the space quickly.
We drove down to Waikiki one Friday evening for the fireworks Maitai Catamaran cruise. Very reasonably priced for a 1 1/2 hour cruise to watch the fireworks from the Hilton and around the bay...definetely recommend. Worth braving the traffic and the throngs of tourists, then returning to the peace of the North Shore.
Discovered that just down the beach was where the show 'Lost' was filmed. Vacation rental is 15ish minutes away from Lanikea, Waimea and Three Tables beaches, depending on traffic. Surf is a little strong for swimming or snorkeling at the rental, but good for wading and playing in the waves at the shore. Most days the beach was empty except for us.
Would definetely stay here again. Love the less crowded feeling of the Hawaii country."
