  • Enjoyed overall

"Everything was so good and set up well for us. Thank you for thinking of so many extra details. We really appreciate it. We were satisfied a 5 out of 4. 4 because of an ant problem in the kitchen. We cleaned up everyday and they still came! Also, the 2nd bedroom desperately needs an AC unit!! My daughter and her husband were very hot!! Now for the worst problem: the sitting/lounging furniture inside and out is horribly uncomfortable!! When you come home from a long glorious day at the beach there is NOWHERE to get comfortable!! I'm not kidding-the furniture is the MOST awful we have ever sat on!! ALL sitting/lounging furniture gets a 0 (Zero) out of 5!! We would consider renting again for a month every year if you got better furniture. Thank you."

  • Great location, beautiful rental

"You could not ask for a better place to stay on the amazing North Shore of Oahu. The unit is located within a really short walk to Three Tables (where there's shade for peak hour sun) or Shark's Cove (for snorkeling) and then a few more minutes away from the best beach, Waimea Bay. You're also close to Foodland and The Coffee Bean, and most beaches are a short drive away. The rental unit is really nice -- we thought it was even cuter in person. The bed is really comfortable and even more so with the wall a/c unit to sleep at night. The kitchen seemed well stocked for equipment and we really appreciated that beach towels, beach chairs and paper products are supplied (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags). It's very clean and well-maintained. Debbie and Derek are also great hosts -- Debbie extremely helpful to answer any questions prior to the trip and they're there if you need them during your stay (but are extremely respectful of your privacy). We will definitely look at staying here during our next trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for our family and friends."

  • Beyond amazing!

"Lynette outdoes herself when setting up this studio. Fresh, unopened EVERYTHING from towels fanned in the shape of shells to bath sized bars of soap, paper towel rolls, condiments, etc. You will want for nothing! There are bikes and water shoes, coffee maker, microwave, street map of Oahu, etc. The room is meticulously clean. There is a large California King bed to sprawl out on. The room is very private. Her boys are very friendly and helpful. Maggie (dog) is especially friendly. There is a washer & dryer on site. The location is VERY convenient to everything on the North Shore. You can walk to snorkeling. You can walk to the grocery store. The studio is literally "move-in" ready, if only I could convince my boss to let me work from here. Aloha & Mahalo."

  • True Aloha Spirit

"Our family of 5, my husband and I, our 2 college-age children, and my mother-in-law, had a perfect stay at the rental. It was clean, well-managed, and maintained. The beach chairs, sand toys, and swim toys were really nice and convenient. We had no issues with the property, but if we had Donna was very professional and accessible. Waimea Bay was gorgeous and the view from the top floor was very pleasant. We could hear the waves every day. The walk out to see the ocean was a little tricky for my mother-in-law, but was easy for the rest of us. The traffic noise did not bother us. The rental is a long way from Honolulu, which has its positives and negatives, but we had a great time there."
