Would stay at this Condo again!
"The condo building itself was a little dated but the condo unit was nice, updated kitchen, clean, washer & dryer in unit, large bedroom, nice lanai overlooking the ocean, great sunrise from lanai, nice beach in front of condo. Not far from the Polynesian Cultural Center. We would stay here again while visiting Oahu."

"I came to drop my daughter off to BYU Hawaii and absolutely loved this little place! It's more spacious than typical studio apartments, very clean and I was very comfortable! The kitchen is equipped with anything you might need to make a simple breakfast, lunch or dinner. My daughter stayed a couple of nights with me as well and we both fell in love with their family dog, "Pua," who even accompanied us to the beach one morning. The beach is very close so I got to enjoy a morning and evening walk each day. The sunset is breathtaking! The apartment had some great books with awesome information about things to do and see on the island. We loved driving up and down the Kam highway, checking out beach after beach. Must see/do's: The sea turtles at Turtle Beach, the sunset at Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Ted's Bakery, the Thai food at Elephant Truck, roadside grilled corn, shave ice, the Banyan trees near Turtle Bay, Kahuku Grill, the PCC, zip line tour at Climb Works at Keana Farm, hiking Wailele Falls...and the list goes on and on. Cathy is a great lady with a great family and I enjoyed chatting with them during our comings and goings; friendly neighbors, as well. I will definitely book again if I am lucky enough to return to Hawaii. This little area feels very special and I feel really lucky to have found it. Thank you Shanley family! Hope we meet again!"

"We truly enjoyed our 12 day stay at Plumeria Cottage. The cottage is well maintained and clean. Our bed was very comfortable. Lots of towels. The kitchen has sufficient dishes, pots, ect. Ryan was very quick to answer the few emails we had and she even brought us a half dozen fresh eggs and a papaya for breakfast. The North Shore is the real Hawaii...nice and quiet. The beach is very easy to get to and very nice. Being here from Canada we found the first few nights rather warm...wish there was air conditioning in the bedrooms...however we still slept well. Haleiwa has a great selection of restaurants and the shrimp trucks. It's a 10 minute drive to Wiamia beach or falls, and about 15 minutes to Sharks Cove...the snorkeling is We came for our daughters' wedding and would come back here if we have the opportunity to come back to Hawaii."

wonderful retreat, conveniently located, great for families
"Our family of 6 (4 teenagers) loved our recent stay at Luana II and were sorry to leave. The house was spacious, clean and close to all that the north shore has to offer. Samuel gave us some helpful tips which added to our enjoyment. We managed to see some of the Banzai pipeline competition which was awesome! We had a couple of rainy days which didn't stop us from doing anything. Waimea Bay is beautiful but make sure you are surf aware before jumping in - the waves have a lot of power behind them (perhaps this is a winter thing though)! We went horseriding at Gunstock Ranch, swimming with the sharks through North Shore Shark Adventures, snorkelling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and shopping at Haleiwa and did our own amazing race around the maze at the Dole plantation. We had a few drives and had a great half day at the Polynesian Cultural Centre in Laie - more fun than I thought it was going to be. Make sure you try the food trucks (Souvaly at Haleiwa was stunning) and had a beautiful meal at Jameson's on our last evening. While we were there Samuel brought around new mattress toppers for the beds which made them even more comfortable. He cares about his visitors! I highly recommend this lovely house and can testify that the photos are accurate. We are dreaming of a return visit."
