  • We loved it!

"We stayed for a week. There were 4 forever young people together. It was so calming being at the waterside for that long. The bungalow was perfect. Plenty of room for us. The kitchen was perfect, we cooked several meals. We played cards at the dining table. We slept so peacefully with the windows open. Perfect breezes off the water kept us cool and comfortable for sleeping. Loved it! Clean, comfortable and convenient!"

  • In this location you literally have it all!

"We've stayed on the North Shore several times because we enjoy the quiet surfing town vibe vs. the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Haleiwa is our favorite place to shop and dine so being just a short drive away was great. The Hibiscus House is located in one of the most beautiful stretches of beachfront on the whole island. Being there in early May, we enjoyed a variance between an unbelievably giant surf where we had a front row seat for some amazing local talent on the waves, and later in the week smaller waves gentle enough for our 8-year old to boogie board. The house itself was very clean and stayed cool without air conditioning the entire 9 days (thanks to the ceiling fans). The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our favorite part was the lanai and the incredible views right off of the back yard. The gates keep the property very secure and with the limited public beach access we never had to deal with crowds, even on the weekends. The rocky terrain off to the left of the house was great for exploring tide pools and our kids had a ball hopping around them all week. The grassy area was also perfect for our kids to romp and play in when they got tired of being sandy. One of the greatest things about this rental is ALL the equipment they provide. We really enjoyed the comfortable beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, sand toys, kiddie pool, etc. We also used the bikes a few times and took advantage of the wonderful path up the shoreline to visit the famous Ted’s Bakery – best coconut cake ever! Things we wished we had were… *More comfortable furniture – the dining room chairs are almost unbearable to sit in. *A coffee bean grinder. *A bigger cooler for extra drinks. *More beach towels – there are 6 so we just did laundry each night. **More days to stay at this house!! Overall, the Hibiscus House provides you with a nice, clean place to stay with gorgeous sunset views, private beach access, biking & walking paths along the amazing coastline, a grocery store across the street for all your needs, rock climbing & exploring, and is 5 minutes away from the most wonderful town on earth for great shopping & dining. The booking process was easy and pleasant - we would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it."
