  • Great stay!

"We spent three nights at this house and we loved it. It is perfectly kept, fully stocked with everything you need and so cute! The inside is roomy with a great large kitchen, three very comfortable rooms plus a comfortable den. Everything we needed for cooking was there. Dishwasher, laundry and dryer as well. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. Two porches, one covered and one uncovered, with plenty of space for up to seven people, allow you to enjoy the ocean breeze rain or shine! Snorkeling sets, beach chairs, coolers, everything you need for a great beach day is available at the house, plus three cute bikes. You are literally ten steps away from the beach and what a beach! And in the evening you can relax in a great hot tub. We were so happy to spend our vacation days there and we can't wait for being back! Thanks T. It was a wonderful stay."

  • About the best spot for a sunset at Sunset!

"I choose this property almost solely on its promise for top notch sunset views from its lanai. On that category alone this property was with 5 stars. But I would be remiss if I didn't mention the gracious hospitality we experienced from our host Louise. She has clearly dedicated long years to make this property beautiful and comfortable for its guests. I absolutely look forward to our next stay."

  • Friendly Family Getaway

"We stayed 6 nights at the property with our two young children (3.5 and 1.5), and were joined by my in-laws for the last half of our stay. The unit is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We appreciated having parking space for two vehicles, as well as an extra futon for my son to sleep on when the grandparents arrived. The house was kid-friendly except for the spiral stairs (which we made a strict 'no-no'; for a longer stay I would have rented a baby gate). We enjoyed the private lanai out back, as well as the tropical garden. Anna was a friendly and helpful hostess, helping me take care of laundry, suggesting activities in the area, and even letting the kids visit her pet rabbit. We LOVED the North Shore, and the house was well-situated to explore in different directions. Some highlights of the area that I'd recommend to future visitors: --Shark's Cove (at the bottom of the hill from the house) is a protected snorkeling spot --Waimea Beach and Waimea Valley (3 min away). Beautiful public beach across from the Waimea Valley botanical trail and waterfalls. You have to pay to access the trail, but we ended up spending 3 hours exploring there, so it was worth it. Check out the Farmer's Market on Thursdays for a taste of delicious local eateries, farm-fresh produce, and gifts. --Pipe Masters (early to mid-December). We happened to be there at the right time to catch the two final days of this Surf Championship and it was a great experience. Check the Vans Triple Crown website if you're planning a trip that time of year. My only negative recommendation is to SKIP the Polynesian Cultural Center luau--while it is hyped up as being 'authentic', the whole experience felt more profit-driven and staged than other luaus we've been to, and visitors were prodded to take a tram tour of the LDS temple between dinner and the night show--not worth the ticket price! Overall, we loved our experience at this house and highly recommend it for families looking to explore the North Shore!"
