"Wow- how lucky did we get! The aloha spirit is alive and well- thanks to the gracious hospitality of the Murray family. What wonderful ambassadors for Oahu, they were so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. Their beautiful guest cottage had everything you could ask for and the view was amazing. Waking up each morning to the sounds of tropical birds and Palm trees swaying made us feel so thankful that we had chosen to stay here.
There are not enough words to express how much we enjoyed our visit ( personal favorite was the outdoor shower- very Gilligan's Island like!). Our time here exceeded every expectation and more. ********** Ten Stars! Thanks again- we will be back!"

"We enjoyed staying at Marshall's Hawaii Kai property. The location is excellent; a short drive from Waikiki, in a very nice neighborhood, close to shopping and dining. We were very glad we selected it over a Waikiki high rise.
The kitchenette is tiny, but it was adequate for us for preparing breakfast during our stay. The garden area is a very nice setting for having morning coffee or a drink in the evening."

"We had been planning our trip to Hawaii for years. There were twelve of us including our adult children and their families. This also included our three grandchildren under the age of four. Mike and Melanie could not have been more accommodating without being intrusive. They were really special.
The home was very comfortable, had everything we could have needed, and is designed for child safety. The location was perfect for us. We were out of the bustle of Waikiki but close to shopping, restaurants, Hanauma Bay for snorkeling, and close access to beaches and hiking. Our family, especially the grandchildren loved the pool. This place was exactly what we were looking for."

"We rented this house with a group of friends, and everyone was blown away by how beautiful the property is! We went snorkeling and paddleboarding right in front of the house, and the water was always very calm. We loved hanging out on the pier and spotting fish in the water and watching crabs on the rocks. Laycie was always a delight to correspondence with, she always responded very quickly to my (many!) emails! We had surfboards delivered to the house and Laycie was able to coordinate with the delivery guy since we weren't going to be around when he dropped off and picked up the boards, and that was so incredibly helpful. We so appreciated the flexibility with checking in/out as well. There were lots of little touches that were really helpful. We especially appreciated the reflective sign on the road in front of the house - without it we probably would have missed the opening to the house every time we came back from somewhere!
Although Waimanalo itself isn't much of a "happening" town (but it is charming!), the drive to Kailua was very quick, and Honolulu wasn't bad at all either. The house was close enough so that when we spent the day in Honolulu, we could go back to the house to rest and then drive back again for dinner/night life. Makapu'u beach is also a 2 minute drive away, which was great.
We had a great time here, and would absolutely come back again. We would recommend any large groups of family or friends to stay here!"
