  • Home away from home in Paradise!

"This house was perfect for me, my wife, our two sons and my mother -- the third bedroom is set up, essentially, as a separate bedroom suite for added privacy. The waterfront setting was a stunning as the pictures make it seem. The living room, lania and yard provided 3 separate, beautiful large areas to enjoy for group or smaller gatherings. The helpfulness and friendliness of the caretakers definitely added to the property enjoyment. The decor is warm and charming, reflective of the age of the house and the generations of property owners. The property is well maintained and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen are dated, but are very functional and adequate for a vacation home. The beach is small and rocky; good for beachwalking. The cove isn't great for swimming but it is good for kayaking (other than at low tide). The neighborhood is quiet but there is some street noise from the busy main thoroughfare on which the property is located. There are restaurants, shopping, food stores, mountain hiking and surfing, snorkeling, and many other beaches all within a 1/2 hour drive (often less). I would recommend this property to another family or to be shared by two families with 3-4 kids."

  • Take the peacock away and amazing!

"The house is amazing!!!! BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!! It is a beach house which is a little older so it does need a little work but nothing to cause you not to rent this house. However, the peacocks that are within 10 feet of house that makes noise all night hurts this house. I brought ear plugs which helped some but the windows are always open in the living room etc. (you can not shut them unless you have a ladder) so it seems like they are in the house, the bottom right bedroom was the worse for the birds. They normally started everynight around 4 am. Also was not aware there is an apartment above the garage. Never heard anything from them nor saw them. Just think it should be disclosed. Dina was wonderful, every problem we had was addressed within hours. The elevator works sometimes. The door is not straight so someone must push on the outer door for the elevator to move sometimes. I am saying everything that was wrong with this house so that you can understand that when I say I would love to go back and stay here again you can understand just how wonderful the views are. Just don't put anyone in the bottom right bedroom due to the birds. The pictures are nothing like seeing the views with your own eyes. It is a wonderful place. Always felt safe and would rent this house again with not problems."

  • Aptly named Hillside Hideaway, Great retreat from Hustle and Bustle

"The house is tucked into the hill about halfway up Tantalus. Just a short ride up the rest of the mountain will lead you to the state park with breath-taking panoramic views of the Manoa valley, Diamond Head, Waikiki, Downtown, all the way to Pearl Harbor. The driveway was narrow and steep at parts, but it was very easy to pull in and turn around rather than backing out to help avoid the blind turns. The house was exactly as described, a cozy two bedroom with plenty of amenities for the week. It was clean and comfortable. We didn't get to use the hot tub as much as we would have liked due to arriving back most nights after 10pm and respecting the "quiet hours" of the neighborhood. Easy access to the H1 highway, which will take you wherever you need to go on the island. Found a great local breakfast and coffee spot reasonably close with friendly baristas (the morning glass) which was also near a Starbucks and Safeway supermarket. Overall we were very happy with our choice, and would gladly stay there again."

  • Love it! Will be back!

"This location is a perfect value! Location location! You can watch the beautiful Friday night (7:45pm) firework show from the patio! Our last visit to Oahu, we stayed at the Hilton. Never again! So much more to offer at this condo! Kitchen has everything u need! Everything is beautiful! Bathroom, bedroom, accents! I literally took pics to decorate our own room. The small accents made it clutch! Chocolates on our bed! Snorkels & boogie boards were provided! AC was great! Ambiance made me feel like I was still at the Hilton! No need for a rental car! Most is in walking distance & the bus system is very efficient & cost effective! Highly recommend this unit! Syndi always responded within 2 mins of a text. Very convenient! We will be back!"

Honolulu Travel Tips

Stay in Honolulu Lodging and Experience a New Culture

Visiting Hawaii any time of year is an exciting event for the entire family. You'll find that Honolulu lodging offers something special, unlike any other destination in the world. If you’re planning a tropical island getaway, you simply can’t ignore the opportunities found in Honolulu on the island of Oahu.

Rent Honolulu Lodging for Easy Access to the Surf

Many travelers choose to brush up on their surfing skills near Honolulu condos, as Oahu is fast becoming a popular destination for such activity. There are many choices available in Honolulu resorts, but your proximity to the famous beaches here might be an important consideration for the water-lovers in your entourage.

Honolulu Condos for Romantic Getaways

There’s nothing like finding your own Honolulu lodging choice tucked away from the busy crowds, and Honolulu condos are the ideal answers if this sounds more like the type of trip you’ll be looking forward to. Visit the local markets for genuine island fare, and try your hand at a new recipe or even cooking foods completely new to you and your sweetie. Many Honolulu resorts are not only located within walking distance of any convenience you may require during your visit, but also come fully equipped to meet your cooking and dining needs while you are away from home.

Honolulu Resorts Let You Interact with the Locals

Once you arrive at your Honolulu lodging accommodations, take a stroll through town and gather a few local papers to find out what type of nearby festivals and special events you and your family might enjoy during your visit. Many restaurants cater to those staying in Honolulu condos with designated traditional menus on certain nights of the week or in celebration of an upcoming holiday. Your choice in Honolulu resorts will also offer several beachfront celebrations, festivals and demonstrations so that you can fully experience the local culture during your stay.
