  • Excellent!

"This was our first trip to Oahu and the studio at Ala Moana was perfect! We stayed for a week and the studio was spacious, well-stocked, and so clean! Loved that it was bigger than a standard hotel room and it was close to lots of different stores, restaurants, etc. Not to mention just a brief walk to the Ala Moana Mall. We didn't need to rent a car and instead used the trolley or bus service that was right outside of the hotel. Very easy in terms of use, time, and money. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, etc., there were lots of extra towels and blankets available and did I mention how clean the suite was? There was an issue with paying the remainder of the deposit right before we left and Chris was very helpful in getting it sorted out in a timely manner. He kept in constant contact and provided an alternate method of payment. Being a first time visitor, we also really loved the "welcome" letter he sent out with recommendations of things to do and places to go. We checked out quite a few of his tourist and restaurant recommendations and really enjoyed them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this suite and would definitely stay here again on a return trip."

  • Hawaiki Towers Review

"We stayed here as we waited for our housing unit on a military base to become available. we treated this like a staycation and enjoyed becoming familiar with Honolulu. We created memories that will last a lifetime and can honestly say that our stay here played a significant part in it. What an outstanding condo with high end features throughout. Exceptional location with breathtaking views of Diamond Head and Waikiki. The convenience of being right across the street from the Ala Moana Mall provides countless eating choices if you don't feel like cooking. In addition to the mall, there is plenty to do within walking distance to the condo. The unit itself is impressive with upscale amenties with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Just pack your suitcase, show up and it's like being home...only better. We enjoyed the Waikiki fireworks display from the dining room every Friday night at 7pm...what a view! We were also fortunate to stay here during the New Year and again witnessed some of the best Fireworks display, all from the comfort of the condo. Additionally, we always made it a point to the sleep with the window shade up so we could wake up to the awesome sunrise over the mountains. We spent 5 weeks in this condo and the time went by too fast. The owner was very accommodating and did everything possible to ensure we had a great stay. We will definitely stay here again when we get the chance."

  • Spectacular view!

"Lovely two bedroom, two bath get away. Clean, well appointed, and with a 180° view from Diamondhead to Pearl Harbor. Well placed. Five minutes from Waikiki, and a very large Safeway store; 10 minutes from the University. Walk to Starbucks or to Uncle Bo's - Great, hip dining spot. Beds were comfortable, refrigerator was large. The kitchen was cramped, but adequate. Many sauces, spices, and condiments are left behind by previous renters. The view from the lanai is mesmerizing. There is some city noise, but it's much, much quieter than Waikiki. The owner is great - helpful and available. Downsides: 1. parking is really cramped. The man in the next parking space came to our door, raging in the middle of the night that we had parked too close to his car, although we were well within the painted lines. You really need a car, because public transportation in Honolulu gets worse every year, But rent the smallest one you can fit into. 2. Gale force winds come from the mountain side of the building. The back bedroom needs some ventilation, but be sure to open the vent windows only a little. 3. I would never have found the lock box with the key in it if I'd come in the dark. ( it's hanging on the fence just to the right of the entrance to the first parking lot you come to.) 4. Seating only for three inside, so it might feel claustrophobic in rainy, cool weather when use of the lanai is more limited. Otherwise, the place is just as advertised, and you can't beat the price for the location. We would certainly stay there again with pleasure."

  • Perfect family vacation rental!

"Found this property online & inquired. Not only is it bigger & more suitable for a family than a hotel room, it is also much more affordable with the added convenience of cooking your own meals if you want! We stayed from Aug 7, 2014-Aug 18, 2014. Our 2 teens shared the queen size sofa sleeper while our 1 1/2 year old shared the king size bed with us & we all slept comfortably. We had partial views of Diamond Head, the ocean, & even the sunrise, as well as the 6th floor activity deck when the kids were down there swimming or playing with their sister. The unit was very clean & had everything we needed to make meals, coffee, heat up leftovers, etc. We never heard any noise from the halls or any of the units around us (a huge difference from hotels/motels in our experience). There's boogie boards, snorkel gear, floating tubes, beach chairs & umbrellas for beach & pool visits. There are 4 elevators just for tower 1 (so very little waiting if any)and plenty of parking. A coffee shop & a mini mart on the lobby floor. It's everything we needed in one location. There just aren't enough good words to describe this place. I'll be recommending this unit to anyone I know of traveling to Oahu. I wish I knew about it during previous trips & wouldn't have wasted time & money at the hotels we've stayed at. The owners had excellent communication with me & answered all my questions (and there were a lot!). Bonus: paying for the unit before traveling meant less on the credit card after the trip! I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with their stay here. Thank you very much to the owners for a wonderful place to stay during our Hawaiian vacation!!! We will be back!"
