An incredible experience
"Thank you Rick and Tam for a wonderful stay.
My sister and I stayed in the spacious, beautiful studio for three nights and had a wonderful time. The studio is light and airy with everything you need for a comfortable stay (hot plate, blender, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, beach towels etc). The bed was lovely and comfy, and the futon could fold out into another bed if required. Everything was spotless.
Rick and Tam were gracious, kind, and unobtrusive hosts. They have a beautiful large mango tree in their backyard, and we woke one morning to find they had left mangoes for us on the front steps. They also encouraged us to help ourselves to mangoes off the tree whenever we liked.
The property is a minute walk from the beach down a private lane. The beach is stunning, and there is a little bench right next to the private lane where we are our lunch if the mood took us.
Thank you so much for your hospitality Rick and Tam, our stay in Kailua made our Hawaii experience! We will be back!"

"This looks perfect in the photos, and the photos don't even do justice to what a great spot it really is. This amazing beachfront place feels more like a one bedroom than a studio, has great closet/storage space, great decor, clean, all the amenities and is SO close to everything. We had a parking space for our car and even rented a SUP for the the trip, which we were able to lock up by our car. We had the windows opened to the ocean breeze the whole trip and fell asleep listening to the ocean."

"Perfect location for traveling and easy access to major highway. Accommodations fit our family very well. Poolside was warm when the beaches were not. Thanks to Charlie and Janice for making our stay so memorable."

"This is a very nice condo. Much nicer than our relatives who paid more than us! The separation wall made it different from some others we had seen and it was nice to have a bedroom and livingroom. Everything else in this review is just some information, not necessarily a complaint. There is no dishwasher or oven. Not a big deal, it's just something I didn't realize until I went to use them. The hotel restaurant Cinnamons has last call at 8:30 PM and closes at 9:00 PM!!! We were not happy about that as we would arrive back later and have to go out again for food. The pool is not the nicest. We (unknowingly) went next to the next door hotel pool and were promptly kicked out. Lol. We did a lot of sightseeing and beaches so the pool wasn't that important to us. Hot Tip: when coming and going, walk past the elevators to the left and go into the trash area. There are service elevators there. You can usually go straight up and down and save tons of time not stopping at multiple floors. I wish someone had told me that at the beginning of our trip. Tip #2: park beside Red Lobster in the garage. It's only $20 per day instead of $28 per day and a 2 min walk. Faster than valet can get your car for you. Tip #3: eat at the Yard House. Or the Chart house. Both are excellent! Tip #4: hit Walmart on day one. It's only a couple blocks away. We bought milk, cereal, fruit, water, etc and saved tons on not eating out twice/three times a day. Tip #5: if you can swing it go to the Big Island or Maui for a day or two. Oahu is nice but very commercialized. Next trip we are planning on going to those islands. Tip #6: Stay away from Chiefs Luau!! I mean this one. The food was awful! My bf got sick from it and I had to eat at the Chart house after because I wouldn't eat there. The pork is the only decent food item. Try the Polynesian center or some other luau. Overall our experience with the condo was great! I received my deposit back almost immediately. Definitely would recommend this condo to others!"
