"Staying 4 weeks at this house was not enough! We all hated to leave. Everything was perfect. The floor plan works for small and larger groups. It is beautifully appointed with everything you need and everything that pleases your eyes. It has been completely modernized without losing the charm of the "cottage". Not only is it beautiful and comfortable on the inside, it is equally so outside. The outdoor terrace with the wonderful salt water pool is perfectly landscaped for privacy and you feel as though you are in a quiet oasis while still being close to the action of Waikiki. Plus, the beach is only steps away and it is convenient access for driving anywhere on Oahu. My family and I cannot wait to return! I highly recommend this lovely, lovely house!"

"Our spring break plans fell through so on a whim we decided to go to Hawaii'i! We booked flights for the five of us and within a couple hours, we secured this beautiful rental home. Nonie was so helpful and accommodating of our last minute scramble. She even bought us some organic milk and put it in the fridge since we were arriving close to midnight that night! The home itself is spacious, with all the modern comforts and upgrades. The gem of the home is the large covered patio looking out on the gorgeous yard and garden - a piece of paradise. We ate all our meals out there and after getting the kids to bed would lay on the large daybed and relax to the sounds of the waterfall and the wind rustling the trees. The jacuzzi, hammock and board games provided plenty of electronic-free entertainment during the evenings but the rest of the time we were out seeing the island. The location worked really well for us. We were just far enough away from the craziness of the Waikiki crowds but within 10 minutes if we wanted to go there. There was a lot to do and see within a 10-25 minute car ride - hike the Diamond Head crater, snorkel at Hanauma Bay, visit the Pearl Harbor memorials, ride a submarine under water. There's a beach a quick walk from the house but at Nonie's recommendation, we also drove up to Lanakai. Stunning. Overall it was a fantastic trip! Would definitely stay here again."

"We had an amazing time at the Gingerbread House. The house was spacious, well-equipped, well-decorated and clean. The outdoor area was magical--we loved using the covered lanai, pool and especially the garden (we feasted on the mangos!). The property location was terrific. Many thanks to Veronica and Sandy for a spectacular experience from beginning to end!"

beautiful home with dedicated and attentive property manager
"Your hospitality is beyond anything we've experienced with other vacation rental owners. The view was outstanding and I kept calling it out to the kids as I wished they could appreciate having something so beautiful right there every day. The rooms were well appointed, the sofa very inviting for movies, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen utensils were so well stocked. The internet service worked well for my friend who needed to work. The towels and pool/beach toys on the lanai were handy. :) We're not familiar with Oahu and this neighborhood truly was situated well to access Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Waikiki, north shore, local shopping etc. Very convenient."
