  • Perfect home for large groups/family!

"We had a great time at the house in March. This was home base for our wedding, with most of our family staying here. The open floor plan and large communal areas make it easy for family to hang out, while there are also plenty of separate rooms for each family to have their own spaces. Megan was very responsive - often responding within the hour - and all of our questions were answered. The home is also very close to the beach (about 5 minute walk, across the street) and the Kahala Hotel. Property is very well managed, with a binder full of all the information you need to know."

  • Great location, affordable and comfortable!

"We booked our vacation rental through hellorelaxation. The ladies who helped us with this booking were very helpful and responsive. The condo we rented was perfect for a family of 4 on a budget with 2 teenage girls. The unit was exactly where we wanted it... Walking distance to Waikiki beach and all the shops. It was clean and spacious. I brought my own pillow to improve my sleep, but the mattresses were quite comfortable. The grocery store was a short drive away. Wifi access was better than we could ever hope for from a hotel. The kitchen was an amazing advantage, as we were able to eat breakfasts before heading to the beach and make our own lunches to take to the beach. Also great to be able to store dinner leftovers and reheat them for lunch the next day. It saved us lots of money. Whatever we needed, I could email or call Hellorelaxation and they responded within minutes. Great service. If you are looking for luxury, this is not what you should expect. This is an affordable, reasonable and clean alternative to paying high prices for the fancy, sleek and trendy spots that you'd be paying twice the price for. It has all the basics, it's comfortable, and it is in a great location."

  • another gem in waikiki

"My wife and I loved this unit and by waikiki standards it's huge w/x2 walk out lanai's & trust me-you will spend some time on these........the views are fantastic. The Royal Gardens is an amazing property and the pool area is fantastic(the pictures don't do it justice) The unit itself lacks for nothing....everything is provided (although the kitchen could use a corkscrew) The bedroom is large and the king bed was very comfortable.....nothing worse than a crappy bed on arrival and sleepless nights but no problems here! The unit has x2 wonderful and quiet & working air conditioners. During our stay the temps reached the 90's and we loved the fact we had working QUIET air conditioning! The hotel is off the beaten track alittle but not really an issue...just put on your walkin shoes or catch The Bus to get around.(parking at the hotel is outrageous) The bathroom in this unit is spacious and shower & tub area was roomy as well. Our only negative would be that the carpet throughout is ready to be replaced..... and the hotel wouldn't let us use the business center to print out our boarding pass(kinda petty) otherwise 10 out of 10! what are you waiting this place's a gem in paradise!"

  • All that we had hoped for in a family reunion vacation

"This is our first experience in renting from VRBO and being from Canada, we were very nervous about the accuracy of the photos, contract, etc. But we were attending a family wedding and with 3 families, we fit very nicely into this property (and guest house) with 13 people. The pictures are completely accurate and the backyard is incredible with the ocean view and exposure. The owner's family was very good to deal with and extremely patient with my nervousness around payment, etc. So thanks to them for working with us. We met the house caretaker when we arrived, got great information about the house and the vacation began immediately. The house supplies was very good. The house location besides the beachfront is incredible in that "Costco" is about 3 blocks away. We immediately went there to load up food and the location was great in that it was easy to get to Waikiki and to the east part of the island. Another great thing we did was to rent paddle boards for the duration of our trip. We found a store that delivered the rental and we spent much of the time paddle boarding as the ocean was generally very calm so great activity to do. Hanauma Bay is about 1 km away so that was another day well spent. And for the last night, we had dinner at the original "Roy's Restaurant" which is literally across the street. So very much enjoyed one of our best vacations. Thanks to the owner and family for ensuring that everything is in place. And we hope that we can come back for another visit. Would definitely consider staying here again."
